Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the docking device for portable computer enhanced in the radiation of heat under the docking condition of the portable computer and the docking device. SOLUTION: The docking device 10 is equipped with a fan unit 36 at the rear part of the power supply unit 34 in the device main body, and an air inlet 54 is provided in front of a connection part 22 with which a note-sized PC 12 is docked. In this constitution, the air heated up to high temperature is exhausted from the device main body 20 and connection part 22 by the driven of the fan unit 36 and an external air is taken in from the air inlet 54 to prompt the cooling of the connection part 22 and further, the cooling of the note-sized PC 12 is prompted since the heat conducted from the rear end part of the PC 12 to the connection part 27 is radiated.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily accommodate cables by providing an engaging mechanism for removably engaging the end part of the cable to a body. CONSTITUTION: An engaging mechanism 6 is formed of a DC terminal 3 at the end part of a DC cable 2 and a recess 100 of a first flange 1A. A recess 10 is formed by cutting out one side of a first flange 1A and a DC connector socket 33 of the DC terminal 3 is just accommodated in the recess 100. Moreover, a window 9 communicated with the recess 100 is formed to the first flange 14, along the longitudinal direction of the recess 100. When a DC connector socket 33 is to be accommodated in the recess 100, the DC connector socket 33 is placed within the recess 100, while the end point 31 of plug is inserted to the window 9. Thereby the cables can be accommodated easily.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a docking type function providing device which can be docked with any of two or more types of portable apparatuses via a common device side connector without inconvenience. SOLUTION: The docking type function providing device, providing a predetermined function via the connector to the portable apparatus which has docked with the device, comprises: a coupling face 1 which is coupled to an apparatus side coupling face on the portable apparatus on docking; the connector 2 on the device side which is provided on the coupling face 1 for being connected to a connector on the apparatus side by the coupling; and a guide face 3 which is parallel to a face intersecting the coupling face 1 and guides a guided face on the portable apparatus on docking, so that the position of the guide face 3 can be changed in a direction of intersecting the guide face 3. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase stability of a computer device while ensuring the easiness to view a monitor by a user. SOLUTION: In a notebook-sized PC (personal computer) 11 with a monitor unit 12 and a main body unit 13 where the monitor unit 12 is connected through a hinge part 16 to the main body unit 13, a part of a front part 13b of the main body unit 13 is formed as an attachable and detachable keyboard 19 while a battery unit 26 being a heavy portion being an element to be incorporated in the main body unit 13 is receptible in the other part of the front part 13b. In this case, even when the keyboard 19 is removed from the main body unit 13, the battery unit 26 being the heavy portion still exists in the part where the keyboard 19 is removed so that it is possible to resist gravity or moment acting from the monitor unit 12 through the hinge part 16 on the main body unit 13 with the weight of the battery unit 26. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient laptop PC. SOLUTION: The laptop PC comprises a liquid-crystal monitor unit 13, a body part 12, and an arm 42 connecting the monitor unit 13 to the body part 12. One end of the arm 42 is connected to the monitor unit 13 by a rotatable first hinge 30. The other end of the arm 42 is connected to the body part 12 by a rotatable second hinge 31. The angle and distance of the monitor unit 13 to the body part 12 can be freely set by means of the first and second hinges 30 and 31.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for connecting an antenna structure existing on a PC main body side and a PC card that does not have a protruding part. SOLUTION: This connection structure has a housing 8, the antenna structure, slots 10 of the housing, through which the PC card is inserted, a high frequency cable 5 where one end is electrically connected to the antenna structure and one part is pulled out to the outside of the housing, a connector plug 6 connected electrically to the other end of the cable 5 and existing outside the housing, and an elastic body formed so that the high frequency cable can be pulled into the housing, such as rubber 13.
