Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrical equipment having a detachable input device capable of overcoming the demerit of a radio system such as a communication failure or a use failure caused by the discharge of a battery while maintaining the merit of the radio system of enlarging a work space without obstructive cables being spread and dispensing with wiring in setting up. SOLUTION: A notebook type PC (personal computer) 1 used as an example of the electrical equipment is provided with a PC body 3 and a keyboard 4 used as an input device constituted to be detachable from the PC body 3. Such a notebook type PC 1 is provided with the detachable keyboard 4 usable by both wire and wireless in the separated state of the keyboard 4 from the PC body 3.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase stability of a computer device while ensuring the easiness to view a monitor by a user. SOLUTION: In a notebook-sized PC (personal computer) 11 with a monitor unit 12 and a main body unit 13 where the monitor unit 12 is connected through a hinge part 16 to the main body unit 13, a part of a front part 13b of the main body unit 13 is formed as an attachable and detachable keyboard 19 while a battery unit 26 being a heavy portion being an element to be incorporated in the main body unit 13 is receptible in the other part of the front part 13b. In this case, even when the keyboard 19 is removed from the main body unit 13, the battery unit 26 being the heavy portion still exists in the part where the keyboard 19 is removed so that it is possible to resist gravity or moment acting from the monitor unit 12 through the hinge part 16 on the main body unit 13 with the weight of the battery unit 26. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use notebook PC (personal computer). SOLUTION: The notebook PC 11 has a monitor part 15 and a main body part 13, and the monitor part 15 and the main body part 13 are connected by an arm part 20 via a first hinge part 22 and a second hinge part 23. In the notebook type PC 11, the tilt angle of the monitor part 15 is preserved, irrespective of the change of vertical position of the monitor part 15. Furthermore, because a turning force is exerted on the first hinge part 22 in the direction opposite to an arrow, the arm part 20 can be easily moved up from the body part 13 and the arm part 20 can be housed stably, when housed in the main body unit 13.
