Abstract: A fastening device for connecting a step of an escalator or a pallet of a moving walkway with at least one traction means. The fastening device includes a shoulder element, a wedge type connector and a projection. The shoulder and projection are each oppositely located on the step/pallet and traction means to be joined. The shoulder is provided with an opening through which, in the mounted state of the fastening device, the projection extends. The wedge type connector is positioned at least partially between the shoulder and the projection to engage the with the projection to fix the step or pallet against the traction means in a pre-tensioned manner.

Abstract: The invention relates to a transparent balustrade (12) of an escalator (1) or of a moving walk, comprising a balustrade skirt (13), at least one glass panel (33), and a handrail guide (15) with a handrail (14). The at-least one glass panel (33) has an upper edge (9) and a lower end (6) and, at its lower end (6), is gripped in a mounting (18) in the balustrade skirt (13) in locationally fixed manner. The transparent balustrade (12) contains at least one support (20), which is tightly joined to the balustrade skirt (13). The glass panel (33) is deformable perpendicular to its planar extent and therefore in lateral direction. Through its elastic deformability, to absorb lateral forces (F) the glass panel (33) displays lateral displaceability within a permissible deformation play (s), lateral displaceability within the permissible deformation play (s) being limited by the support (20).

Abstract: A transport-monitoring module for monitoring a transport of a transport unit of a passenger-transportation device is arranged on the transport unit. The transport-monitoring module has a sensor and localization devices. During the transport, through an interface unit, a connection with a data memory of the device is created. Abstract: A plate belt of a moving walkway has plates arranged in succession in a movement direction and between two mutually parallel link chains formed by chain links of different widths. Each chain link is connected with one of the plates by at least one fastening device. Sub-elements (41, 42, 43) arranged adjacent to one another respectively bear against one another by one of the end sides (45, 46) thereof, wherein a sub-element (41, 42) previously arranged on the base (31) is secured to the support body (30) by the respective sub-element (42, 43) subsequently arranged on the base (31).
