Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which, when used, imparts a slippery feel to human skin by compounding a fatty acid soap, an acylisethionate and an acidic heteropolysaccharide derived from a plant of the genus Polyanthus in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 20-60 wt.% fatty acid soap, (B) 1-30 wt.% acylisethionate and (C) 0.001-1 wt.% acidic heteropolysaccharide derived from a plant of the genus Polyanthus. An alkali metal salt of an 8-22C saturated or unsaturated fatty acid is an example of ingredient A, of which at least 80 wt.% is preferably a sodium salt of a saturated fatty acid, still preferably at least 25 wt.% is a lauric acid soap. Vegetable oils or fats and animal oils or fats can be used as the raw material fatty acid, among which palm kernel oil and coconut oil are preferable Sodium cocoylisethionate is preferable as ingredient B. A tuberose polysaccharide is preferable as ingredient C.

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition using a specific phosphoric ester- based surfactant as a solidifying agent, having low irritancy to the skin and excellent in lather forming and solid physical properties without causing a swell or a collapse by dissolution with water despite containing a polyoxyethylene alkyl ethersulfate (ES) as a substrate. CONSTITUTION: This solid detergent composition comprises (A) 10-40wt.% polyoxyethylene alkyl ethersulfate (ES) of formula I [R is an 8-20C (un) saturated hydrocarbon; (a) is 1-10; M is an alkali metal, Mg, ammonium or an aliphatic alkanolammonium; (m) is a number of valence of M], (B) 1-60wt.% phosphoric ester-based surfactant of formula II or III [R to R are each a 16-22C (un) saturated hydrocarbon; X and Y are each same as M; (b), (c) and (d) are each 0-10]. Furthermore, it is preferable to contain (C) is an 8-22C (un) saturated hydrocarbon], further

PURPOSE:To obtain a hair cosmetic providing hair with smoothness and a feeling of tension and rigidity without causing greasiness and drying. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic comprising (A) a cationic surfactant, preferably a quaternary ammonium salt of formula I (at least one of R to R is 8-28C alkyl or alkenyl which may be replaced and the rest is benzyl, 1-5C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl; X1 is halogen ion or organic ion) such as stearyltrimethylammonium chloride, (B) fats and oils such as higher alcohols and lanolin derivative and (C) an alkylsaccharide-based surfactant of formula II (R is 8-18C alkyl, alkenyl or alkylphenyl; R is 2-4C alkylene; (m) is 0-10; G is 5-6C reducing sugar; (n) is 1-10) in a ratio of the component A/C=1-20, preferably 2-10 by weight. The cosmetic is preferably mixed with 0.1-10wt.% silicone derivative to improve touch.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of screening a whitening agent or brightener capable of imparting luster by giving an excellent whitening effect to teeth. SOLUTION: By a method of screening a whitening agent for teeth or a brightener for teeth, solubility to low-crystalline hydroxyapatite having a half-value width of a (300) plane by X-ray diffraction of not less than 0.45°(A) and solubility to high-crystalline hydroxyapatite having a half-value width of a (300) plane by X-ray diffraction being smaller than that of the low-crystalline hydroxyapatite by not less than 0.1°(B) of a constituent to be examined are measured, and a constituent where the solubility to the low-crystalline hydroxyapatite (A) is at least 1.6 times larger than the solubility to the high-crystalline hydroxyapatite (B) is selected. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition giving excellent whitening effects and also luster to teeth. SOLUTION: The composition for removing solid products formed on the surface of teeth contains 0.05-18 mass% of phytic acid or a salt thereof, contains no polyvalent cation or contains a polyvalent cation in an amount of less than 0.1-fold mole relative to the content of the phytic acid. A diluted solution of the oral composition in water at concentration of 30 mass% has a pH value of 5.5 to 6.5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which corresponds also to endogenous discoloration wherein the color of dentin is discolored due to aging, an external wound or the like can be seen through enamel, and gives a beautiful bleaching effect to teeth. SOLUTION: The composition for reforming tooth enamel surface layer interprismatic spaces contains 0.05 to 18 mass% of phytic acid or its salt and has pH of 5.5 to 6.5, when diluted with water into concentration of 30 mass%. Light reflected from the inside of enamel is increased by the scattering of the light in interprismatic spaces to give naturally white teeth. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a soap hard to slip and the handling thereof easier though becoming smaller in size during the use thereof by a method wherein an expansible net bag is knitted into a cylinder and both ends thereof are tied with a string to make the whole of the bag expansible according to the size of a solid soap. SOLUTION: In this solid soap in an expansible net, a solid soap 2 is placed into an expansible net bag 1 and the expansible net bag 1 functions to lock the slipping of the solid soap 2, so that the solid soap 2 as placed in the expansible bag 1 eliminates the dropping of the soap during the use thereof. The expansible net bag 1 is made so reducible as a whole following the solid soap 2 which is becoming smaller with the use thereof. Therefore, the expansible net bag 1 fits the soap well without loosening though the soap becomes smaller to keep the soap from dropping during the use thereof thereby highly facilitating the handling thereof. The expansible net bag 1 herein used is preferably a product knitted into a cylinder and both ends thereof may be tied with a string or both the ends may be welded by a resin.
