    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the subject cold insulation intended to prevent the rise in food temperature even under inadequate temperature control conditions and to entirely remove drips developed during fresh food distribution by using a cold insulation container combined with drip absorptivity which can be produced by a specific means. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a water-absorptive sheet 2 is laid on the inner bottom of a food packaging container 1 and covered with a moisture-impermeable film 3 having numerous fine water-penetrable holes 30, and the edges of this film 3 are bound to the container 1. Second, the sheet 2 is made to hold water at such a volume as to be account for 20-80wt.% of its maximum water absorption. Finally, said container 1 is frozen to freeze the water held followed by putting foods into the container 1.

The extraction of the plant is performed by a method comprising extracting the various plants with a solvent (e.g. ethanol).
