Abstract: A nonionic powdery detergent composition which is free from bleeding of a nonionic surfactant, does not exhibit any deterioration in its solubility even after the passage of time and has an excellent detergency against a fatty acid soil, which comprises 12 to 50% by weight of (a) a nonionic surfactant having a melting point of 40 DEG C or below, 3 to 60% by weight of (b) a specified crystalline layer silicate, and 5 to 30% by weight of (c) a porous oil-absorbent carrier having an oil absorbability of 80 ml/100 g or more, and a process for producing the nonionic powdery detergent composition.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair wash, which prevents hair from being dried as a result of washing, improves wet touch of the hair and keeps these effects for extended periods by making the hair wash include a specific amide compound and anionic surfactant. SOLUTION: This hair wash contains (A) an amide compound having a melting point of 0 to 50 deg.C, preferably 10 to 40 deg.C, [a higher fatty acid amide or N-substituted amide compound having a total carbon number of 30 or more, particularly preferable one being an amide derivative or the like shown by the formula (R and R are each a 1-40C (hydroxylated) hydrocarbon; R is a 1-6C alkylene or single bond; and R is H, a 1-12C alkoxy or 2,3- dihydroxypropyloxy, wherein R is H when R is a single bond], and (B) an anionic surfactant (e.g. an alkyl or alkenyl ether sulfate) preferably at 0.001 to 50 and 0.1 to 30 wt.%, respectively.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cosmetic which can prevent hair from damaging caused by ultraviolet ray and the like and is useful for the hair oil and the shampoo capable of preventing hair from drying even in the strong damage by formulating a specific amide compound with an ultraviolet absorber. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic is obtained by formulating (A) an amide compound (e.g. a compound of the formula and the like) such as a N-substituted amide and the like which shows a melting point of 0-50 deg.C and possesses the total carbon atoms of preferably 30 or more and at least 5 wt.% of bound water capable of being held with (B) an ultraviolet absorber such as octyl methoxycinnamate preferably in proportions of 0.1-20 wt.% of the compound A and 0.05-10 wt.% of the component B in the whole composition. In addition, it is preferable that a plant, e.g. Sesamum indicum L. and the like, its extract or its pressed product is formulated thereto. This cosmetic can prevent the surface oxidation of hair and the change in the color tone and is useful for a hair mousse, a hair conditioner and a linse.
