A liquid detergent composition comprising, at a specific ratio individually, (a) water, (b) a builder composed of a water-soluble inorganic salt of which solubility in distilled water is 0.5 g/15 g (25 DEG C, distilled water) or more, and (c) a substance liquid at 25 DEG C containing at least one selected from the group consisting of surfactant (c1) and water-miscible organic solvent (c2), in which part of (b) is present in solid state in the composition, and its electric conductivity measured by a specific method is within a specified range.
Abstract:
An article for use in washing in the form of a sheet comprising a layer containing a detergent composition and, bound on both sides thereof, water-soluble substrates, wherein the layer also contains particles being water-soluble or falling into pieces on contacting water which have an average particle diameter of 60 to 2,000 mu m. The term "particles being water-soluble or falling into pieces on contacting water" used herein means particles having such a property that when 0.5 g of them are added to 1 liter of water at 10 DEG C, the resultant mixture is stirred at 800 rpm for 10 minutes and then filtered through a 200 mesh sieve, the amount of an oversize residue is less than 0.025 g. The article for use in washing exhibits significantly improved solubility in water.
Abstract:

It comprises (a) a surfactant, (b) a chelating agent having a specific calcium−trapping amount and a specific calcium stability constant and having a molecular weight of 1,000 or lower, (c) water, and (d) an alkali in respective specific proportions, and has a pH at 20°C of 7.5 to 12.
Abstract:
An economical sheet-form laundering article which has excellent flexibility and employs water-soluble bases having a low basis weight and in which the contents are inhibited from flying off or being lost. The article comprises a layer comprising at least one composition selected among a detergent composition, a fiber softener composition, and a bleaching agent composition and water-soluble bases respectively bonded to both sides of the layer. It has a flexibility parameter as calculated by a specific method of 3 to 6.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention provides a liquid detergent being excellent in detergency for persistent sebum smears such as smears in or on collars and cuffs and for denatured-oil smears in kitchens, etc., and further having a good smell as a detergent. That is, the present invention provides a liquid detergent comprising glycerol ether compounds represented by each of the formulas (1), (2), and (3) and a surfactant, R-O-CH2-CH(OH)CH2X (1), R-O-CH(CH2X)CH2Y (2), and R-O-CH2-CH(Z)CH2W (3), wherein R, X, Y, W and Z are defined in the specification.
