PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion for color filters having excellent heat resistance, and to provide a colored composition for color filters containing the same. SOLUTION: [1] The pigment dispersion for color filters includes a specific diketopyrrolopyrrole pigment (A), a graft polymer (B) and an organic solvent (C), wherein the graft polymer (B) is obtained by grafting a side chain having a constitutional unit derived from a hydroxy group-containing monomer on a main chain having a constitutional unit derived from a vinyl monomer, and a content of the constitutional unit derived from the hydroxy group-containing monomer is 5-30 wt.% in all constitutional units of the side chain. SOLUTION: The method for producing a (meth)acrylic acid (co)polymer comprises (A) polymerizing (meth)acrylic acid or its salt, or (B) copolymerizing (meth)acrylic acid or its salt with a monomer which has a copolymerizable unsaturated group, in the reaction system hydrogen peroxide is present at 0.25 pts.wt. or more and a reducing agent is present at 0.25 pts.wt. or more on the basis of 100 pts.wt. of the (meth)acrylic acid (co)polymer respectively.

SOLUTION: (1) The manufacturing method for the dispersion of the crosslinked core shell polymer particle containing a coloring agent has a step I for obtaining the dispersion of the core shell polymer particle by polymerizing a hydrophobic monomer and a crosslinkable monomer having two or more of the reactive unsaturated groups in the presence of water, an organic solvent and a polymer having a salt-forming group, a step II for obtaining the dispersion of the core shell polymer particle containing the coloring agent by dispersing a mixture containing the obtained dispersion and the coloring agent, and a step III for obtaining the dispersion of the cross-linked core shell polymer particle containing the coloring agent by cross-linking the obtained core shell polymer particle containing the coloring agent using a cross-linking agent having two or more of the reactive functional groups.
