Abstract: The present invention relates to a treatment composition for textile products for use in a drying machine, which contains weight-average molecular weight of 500,000 to 10,000,000 and a method of treatment of textile products, including subjecting textile products treated with the treatment composition for textile products to heat treatment in a heating-type drying machine. Specifically, the present invention relates to a treatment composition for textile products for use in a drying machine, which contains a water-soluble cationic polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 500,000 to 10,000,000 (referred to hereinafter as component (A)), a water-insoluble cationic polymer (referred to hereinafter as component (B)) and a silicone compound (referred to hereinafter as component (C)) , wherein the ratio of component (A) to the total mass of the components (A) and (B) is 3 to 100% by mass and the ratio of the total mass of the components (A) and (B) to the total mass of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 5 to 85% by mass.

Abstract: A process for production of carboxylic acid polymers which comprises the first polymerization step (A) of introducing an aqueous monomer solution containing an α-unsaturated carboxylic acid or a salt thereof, an aqueous solution containing a hydrogensulfite salt, and an oxygen-containing gas into a flow mixer and polymerizing the monomer and the second polymerization step (B) of subjecting the reaction product of the first polymerization step containing unreacted monomer to additional polymerization. Even when the amount of an oxygen-containing gas used in initiating the polymerization is extremely reduced, high-quality carboxylic acid polymers which are little discolored and little contain impurities can be produced at high productivity.

Abstract: A process for preparing a carboxylic acid-based polymer comprising the steps of (A) a first polymerization reaction step comprising introducing an aqueous solution of monomers containing an alpha -unsaturated carboxylic acid or a salt thereof, an aqueous solution containing a hydrogensulfite, and a gas containing oxygen into a flow mixer to polymerize the monomers; and (B) a second polymerization reaction step comprising further polymerizing a reaction product containing the unreacted monomer obtained in the first polymerization reaction step. There can be stably and productively prepared a carboxylic acid-based polymer having a high quality with suppressed coloration and containing a reduced amount of impurities even if the amount of gas containing oxygen used in the initiation of the polymerization reaction is remarkably reduced.

The present invention can provide a three-dimensional-modeling soluble material to be used for a support member, which material is suitable for production of a three-dimensional object by the FDM method, has moisture-absorption resistance, has a high rate of dissolution in neutral water, and can be quickly removed from a three-dimensional object precursor without using a strong alkali aqueous solution.

This cationic group-containing copolymer is obtained by particularly using a cationic group-containing vinyl monomer, a hydrophilic nonionic group-containing vinyl monomer such as N,N-dimethyl (meth)acrylamide or N,N-diethyl (meth)acrylamide, and a cross-linking vinyl monomer containing at least two vinyl groups in the molecular unit thereof as essential component monomers and radically polymerizing the essential component monomers. A thickener made of the copolymer is also disclosed.
