    Abstract: A stable sodium percarbonate having excellent stability when incorporated into a bleaching agent composition or a detergent composition, particularly a zeolite-containing detergent composition. The stable sodium percarbonate is produced by a process which comprises a step of treating sodium percarbonate on the surface with at least one coating agent selected from the group (A) consisting of boric acids, borates and alkali metal silicates and at least one coating agent selected from the group (B) consisting of carbonates, hydrogencarbonates and sulfates, and at least one coating agent selected from the group consisting of coating agents belonging to groups (A) and (B) being present in the form of an aqueous coating slurry thereof.
