Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a decrease in room heating and cooling capacity of a heat pump by employing a fin material provided with a thin film to follow rough surface of an aluminum film material having an uneven parts of specific surface roughness as a fin material for a heat exchanger on the fin material. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum fin material for a heat exchanger is composed of an aluminum alloy plate imparted with surface roughness of 0.2 - 5mum to its surface, and a water repellent thin film so coated as to follow the uneven part of the surface. Thus, since droplets adhered to the surface are easily rolled to be dropped without remain due to small contact of the droplet with the surface in addition to the water repellent effect of the thin film, a fin material for a heat exchanger having high performance can be obtained. For example, carbon tetrafluoride plasma polymerized coating resin film is formed on an aluminum alloy plate added directly with an uneven part on its surface to obtain an aluminum film material. In this case, the rough surface may be formed by rolling or ceramic coating, or a coating may be formed of a LB film, by a sputtering, a depositing method.

CONSTITUTION:There are provided an outflow angle-controlling means 24b and a controlling means 23 for a blower: the outflow angle-controlling means 24b functions to alter the angle at which the conditioned air is sent out; the controlling means 23 for a blower drives a blower 18 whenever either of the air-conditioning system, that is, cooling or heating, or an aroma-emitting means 16 provided with a control 22 for controlling the emission of aroma is operating. With this setup, the control keeps aroma at an appropriate concentration and, when the cooling or heating system is OFF, the air is sent out toward the ceiling.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase water repellent property remarkably by a method wherein coating is constituted of solution, consisting of silicone or fluorine resin compound, and inorganic fine particles having the ratio of 5-40weight% with respect to solid matters in the solution. CONSTITUTION:Composition for water repellent coating, consisting of solution, consisting of silicone or fluorine resin compound, and inorganic fine particles having the ratio of 5-40weight% with respect to solid matters in the solution, is applied on the surface of plate-type fins to obtain a desired heat exchanger. According to this method, a contacting area between water drops 3 is reduced whereby heat exchanging rate can be increased by miniaturizing the heat exchanger by narrowing spaces between the platetype fins or providing many fins.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can impart higher water repellancy by dispersing finely divided particles which can impart fine irreguralities to a surface after curing a coating which contains the particles into a solution which contains a resin compound which gives the surface of the coating after application, drying, and curing a contact angle with water of 90 deg. or above. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is obtained by dispersing.inorganic or organic finely divided particles (e.g. finely divided particles of a silica having an average particle diameter of 2 mum) which can impart fine irreguralities to a surface after curing a coating into a solution which comprises a resin compound which gives the surface of the coating after application, drying, and curing a contact angle with water of 90 deg. or above (e.g. a silicone resin, a fluororesin, a PP resin, etc). On the surface of the base material coated with the above composition, because of the fine irreguralities by the inorganic or organic finely divided particles, in addition to the water repellent effect of the coating itself, the contact angle of the surface with waterdrops becomes small and the water repellancy becomes remarkably high. Therefore, by forming the water repellent coating composition on the surface of platelike fins of a heat exchanger, waterdrops can roll down from the surface of the platelike fins.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the ventilating amount of a heat exchanger as well as the generation of noise of the same by providing a thin film layer, having water absorbing property, on the lower end surface of a plate type fin. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a heat exchanger is constituted by a method wherein heat transfer tube penetrating holes are bored on a plate type fin 9 made of aluminum, on the lower end surface of which a resin layer 8 having water absorbing property is adhered to fix it, fin collars 2 are raised up around the holes bored with an equal interval to penetrate heat transfer tubes 3 made of copper and, thereafter, the tubes 3 are fixed so as to be contacted closely to the plate type fin 9 through the means of tube expanding and the like. Condensed water, which flows down to the lower end surface of the fin 9, is absorbed quickly by the water absorbing thin film layer 8 and the film of the condensed water on the surface of the fin 9 maintains the state of a thin water film. After the predetermined water absorbing capacity of the water absorbing resin film in attained, the water is extruded from the lower part of the water absorbing thin film layer 8 by an amount exceeding the predetermined water absorbing capacity and is dropped quickly. Accordingly, the condensed water on the fin 9 exists in the state of a thin water film at all times whereby the deterioration of the ventilating amount of the heat exchanger as well as the generation of noise of the same may be eliminated.
