    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the temperature of a refrigerating compartment and a specific low temperature compartment arranged to the inside of a refrigerating compartment formed inside a thermally insulated cabinet body by an indirect cooling system with an air duct specification being provided with a blower and a chilled air blowout duct in the specific low temperature compartment arranged to the inside of the refrigerating compartment formed inside a thermally insulated cabinet body. SOLUTION: Chilled air cooled by an evaporator 17 is conducted to the chilled air blowout duct 16 with a blower 18 and cools the inside of the refrigerating compartment 14 in a refrigerator arranged with the specific low temperature compartment 19 in front of the evaporator 17. The temperature inside the specific low temperature compartment 19 can be kept uniform by controlling a damper device 21 that adjust airflow with the opening and closing of a specific low temperature compartment duct 20 and a flap 22.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an electrical damper control device for a freezer and refrigerator having at its upper part a refrigeration chamber and at its lower part a freezer chamber in which the damper of the refrigerator chamber is forcedly closed when an operation of a compressor is stopped and in turn during a defrosting operation, the damper is forcedly opened under a controlling operation, thereby a frosting in the air passage is prevented and reliability in operation is improved. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit is provided with an opening or closing control of an electrical damper 15 which is closed when an operation of a compressor 5 is stopped and in turn opened when a defrosting heater 9 is electrically energized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the handling convenience and food storage of the refrigera tor by a method wherein a cooling chamber where a cooler and a fan located above the cooler are arranged is mounted to the back of one of two chambers into which a freezing chamber is partitioned, and a refrigerating chamber having no cooler is secured to the back thereof. CONSTITUTION:A freezing chamber is arranged at the upper part of a body, and the freezing chamber is laterally partitioned into first and second freezing chambers 5 and 6 on the right and left sides, respectively. A cooler 14 to cool air at the interior and a fan 15 to circulate cold air in a refrigerator are ar ranged in the cooling chamber. The first and second freezing chambers 5 and 6 and a freezing chamber 7 are heat-insulated and partitioned from each other by means of a partition wall 18. Since no cooling chamber is arranged to the back of the freezing chamber on the left of the two freezing chambers on the left and right sides into which the freezing chamber is partitioned, the same depth as that of the refrigerating chamber 7 is provided, resulting in improve ment of the handling convenience and storage of food.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a transparent ice without protrusion over a whole upper tray by providing a water reservoir formed at an interval from the side face of the tray at the side face of the part of a lower tray, and a water reservoir cover extended from the flange of the upper tray for covering the top of the reservoir. CONSTITUTION:The top of a water reservoir 6 provided on a lower tray 2 is covered with a water reservoir cover 1g extended from an upper tray 1. Water surface of the reservoir 6 is not brought into direct contact with chilled gas to be higher at its temperature than that of the water surface of the other tray 1, and growth of ice is mostly delayed. Accordingly, even when the water surface of the tray 1 is all frozen, the water surface of the reservoir is not yet frozen, or the thickness of the ice is thin. The water of volumetric expansion due to the growth of the ice from the water surface of the tray 1 cannot be escaped, but concentrated at the reservoir of unfreezing state to raise the water surface level at the part or to break the thin ice on the surface of the reservoir to gush out. Thus, this part is eventually raised to eliminate the protrusion of the ice on the surface of the upper tray. Thus, the ice in the tray 1 is not whitened, and whitened ice remains only in the whitened ice remainder 4 and the reservoir 6 of the tray 2 in which completion of ice making is delayed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily perform temperature control in a refrigerating compartment and to make the temperature distribution in the refrigerating compartment uniform by providing an electric instrument box in about the center of the ceiling of the refrigerating compartment, and cold air outlets for cooling the refrigerating compartment is furnished inside the electric instrument box. CONSTITUTION:An electric instrument box 24 is provided in about the center of the ceiling of a refrigerating compartment 4. The electric instrument box includes a temperature control thermostat 7, a thermostat dial 10 that is linked to the thermostat, a defrosting timer 8, an electric light bulb, and a door switch 13, and in addition to these, cold air outlets 25 and 26 for the refrigerating compartment 4 are furnished. The cold air outlets 25 and 26 lead to a cold air duct 19 for refrigerating compartment. A partition wall 27 provided in the electric instrument box 24 separates a section in which the electric light bulb 9 is attached. A lighting hole 28 is provided on the electric light bulb section in the electric instrument box 24. By this constitution, the thermostat dial 28 can be operated even if a door 5 is not fully opened, so that the temperature distribution is kept uniform on both the left and right in the refrigerating compartment 4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To dehumidify ambient air and sublimate frost adhered to a baffle by a method wherein an auxiliary cold air flowing part is constituted by a heat insulating member at the terminal opening of a duct provided at the rear side of the baffle of a damper thermostat. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary cold air flowing part 18, constituted by cutting a heat insulating member 19 so as to obtain rectangular grooves at three places on the upper side of the terminal opening 11 of a duct 10, communicates the duct 10 with the recessed section 17 of the heat insulating member accommodating a damper thermostat 6. When a baffle 12 is closed by detecting the reduction of a temperature in a refrigerator to a predetermined temperature, trace amount of cold air flows out through the auxiliary cold air communicating part 18 onto the surface of the baffle 12 to dehumidify frost, adhered to the baffle 12, by humid air coming from a refrigerating chamber 3 by the reverse flow of the same whereby the frosting may be prevented.
