Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulating material capable of preventing the deformation of a contact surface when the vacuum heat insulating material is stuck to the outer box or the inner box of a refrigerator main body to form a heat insulating wall and easily extending along the configuration of the contact surface. SOLUTION: A plurality of protruding parts 34 are provided on either wall surface of an inner space formed by the outer box 31 and the inner box 32 of the refrigerator 30, and the vacuum heat insulating material 35 is fixed in contact thereto to prevent the deformation of the inner box 32 or the outer box 31. A linear compression part 73 is provided on a vacuum heat insulating material 72 so as to easily extend the heat insulating material along the contact surface to eliminate unevenness in attachment. Thus, the refrigerator of high quality can be provided.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the stress in a compressor generated in starting the compressor immediately after defrosting is completed by reducing the balance pressure in a refrigerating system which is increased when defrosting is completed. SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises a compressor 18, an in-chamber fan device 23 to blow the cold air cooled in a cooler 21 into a chamber of the refrigerator, a defrosting device 24 to remove the frost attached to the cooler 21, and a machine room fan device 25 installed in a machine room of the refrigerator to improve the refrigerating cycle. Only the in-chamber fan device 23 is operated immediately after the defrosting control is completed, and immediately thereafter, the machine room fan device is operated to reduce the balance pressure in the refrigerating system and to prevent reduction of the flow rate of the refrigerant generated in starting the compressor.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent dew condensation on an external box by making it impossible that refrigerant gas of high temperature does not flow for a long time through a cabinet pipe which is embedded in the external periphery of an opening of the external box after a rapid freezing. CONSTITUTION:The title refrigerator is provided with a temperature detector 1 to detect temperature inside the refrigerator, a compressor 3, a rapid freezing switch 4 to drive the compressor 3 compulsorily and continuously, a time integrator 6 to integrate a prescribed time of continuous driving, and a controller 10 to make a control after a rapid freezing. In the refrigerator thus constituted, the controller 10 stops the compressor 3 by a time taken for the temperature detector 1 to raise temperature up to a first set value after the rapid freezing, and drives the compressor 3 by a time taken for the temperature detector 1 to be supercooled down to a second set value.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To quickly stabilize a refrigerator to a predetermined temperature at a high load with high temperature and much moisture in the summer season and the like by detecting fresh air temperature and changing initiation tempera ture for rotating a fan at a high speed based upon a detection result. CONSTITUTION:In control means 13 for controlling a compressor 4 and a cold air circulation fan 6 based upon an output signal from refrigerator temperature detector means 8 serving to detect temperature in a freezing chamber of a refrigerator, there is provided fresh air detector means 15 for detecting fresh air. It is judged whether refrigerator temperature is higher or lower than set temperature T1 (-22 deg.C for example),and if lower, the compressor 4 and the fan 6 are interrupted. In contrast, if the refrigerator temperature is higher than the set value T1, the fan 6 is rotated at a high speed through revolution control means 11, and the compressor 4 is operated. Then, fresh air is checked, and if it is higher than set temperature (15 deg.C for example) the refrigerator temperature is compared with a set valve T4 (-15 deg.C for example), and if the detected value is higher than the set value, the fan 6 is rotated at a high speed as well.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To conduct defrosting control of high reliability to restrain temperature rise in a refrigerator by comparing integrated values or a second timer for integrating open time of a damper with set values to decide cooling load and thereby starting defrosting. CONSTITUTION:A blower 7 for circulating cooled air of a cooler 6, a damper 13 for regulating the quantity of cooled air to a refrigeration chamber 9. a first timer 40 for starting defrosting at predetermined intervals based on integrated time of operation of a compressor 26 and a second timer 42 for integrating open time of the damper 13 are provided, whereby a control means 42 compares the integrated value of the timer 42 with set value sp that the cooling load is decided to start defrosting. By this arrangement, when the integrated value of open time of the damper 15 has exceeds the set value, defrosting is started, and when said value is within the set value, defrosting is performed at normal defrosting period based on the integrated value of operating time of the compressor 26. And when amounts of frost on the cooler 6 is large, extension of defrosting time can be avoided, so that the temperature rise on the refrigerator larger than required during defrosting can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To form an air return passage, secure a necessary inlet port, lessen the resistance of an air passage, and obtain a sufficient cooling performance by providing openings on the side walls of partition plates dividing the interior of a freezing chamber, and further by disposing an inlet port at a position where the partition plates abut against a duct cover. CONSTITUTION:The side walls of partition plates 13a and 13b for dividing the interior of a freezing chamber 2 into two parts and forming the right and left chambers are provided with openings 16a and 16b, respectively, and a lower part where the partition plates 13a and 13b abut against a duct cover 7 is further provided with an inlet port 17. The openings 16a, 16b and the inlet port 17 form an air passage communicating to one another. Since it is so designed that an air return passage is formed between the partition plates 13a and 13b, the resistance of the inlet air passage is lessened to a great extent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce consumed electric energy for defrosting and to prevent the increase of temperature in a refrigerator by a method wherein after elapse of a given integrating time of a compressor, a damper continuous 'OPENING' time is integrated for defrosting. CONSTITUTION:When a running integrating time of a compressor 26 does not amount for a given time, since an output 01 from a first timer 48 is 'L', an output from an AND circuit 49 produces 'L' not by means of other signal, and a second timer 42 is not integrated. Thereafter, when a time is integrated by the first timer 48, the output 01 produces 'H', an output from the AND circuit 49, i.e. an input from a second timer 42 depends on other input. Namely, at a point of time when a continuous 'OPENING' time amounts for a given time, the second timer 42 generates an 'H' signal, which is inputted to an OR circuit 41. An output from the OR circuit 41 produces 'H' despite of an output 02 from the first timer 48. A transistor 43 is turned ON, a relay coil 44 is energized, a relay contact 45 is switched from a contact (a) to a contact (b), and a defrosting heater 46 is energized to start defrost.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of temperature control and obtain a thermostat with a low cost by a method wherein a plurality of slit holes are provided on the side wall of a thermostat housing box while the temperature detecting part of the thermostat is constituted so as to be movable to change the amount of inflow cold air into the temperature detecting part of the thermostat through the slit holes. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature detecting part 13 of a thermostat 10 is positioned by an arm 17 on a slit hole 14b, the inflow of cold air for the temperature detecting part 13 is restrained, the detection of the temperature detecting part 13 is dulled, the cooling operation of a compressor 11 becomes long or so-called operating rate of the compressor 11 is increased and a freezing chamber is cooled strongly. When the temperature detecting part 13 of the thermostat 10 is positioned on the slit hole 14, the detection of the temperature detecting part 13 is sharpened, the operating rate of the compressor 11 is reduced and the freezing chamber is cooled weakly. Further, when the temperature detecting part 13 is positioned on the slit hole 14a, an intermediate temperature between strong refrigeration and weak refrigeration may be set. It is not necessary to have exclusive thermostats in each kind of machines and a predetermined temperature of the freezing chamber may be secured.
