SOLUTION: A pressure fluid is filled from the outside between bisected shell members 53, 54 through a through hole 201 provided within either of the bisected shell members 53, 54, between inner seal parts S1, S2 for sealing the space between the shell members 53, 54 and the heating surfaces 80, 81 each of a thermoelectric member 5 in the circumference of the formation part of a heating medium passage cavities 7, 8 and an outer seal part 88 for sealing the gap between the bisected shell members 53, 54, of the outer circumference thereof, the existence of a leak in the inner seal part S1, S2 and the outer seal part S3 is inspected at the first inspection from the state of the filled pressure fluid, and the through hole 201 is sealed after the inspection.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent defrosting the upper part of a cooler, shorten defrost time, reduce the amount of consumption power, and prevent a rise in the interior temperature during defrosting operation by installing a cooler which successively connects a cooling pipe of each flow vertically, connects the upper end or the lower end of each adjacent row horizontally, further connects the upper end of a one side row with the lower end of the other side row, which adjoin only in one location, with a connection pipe, and installing a heater, which serves as a heat source, below the cooler. CONSTITUTION:In order to carry out more efficient heat transmission in a cooling pipe 8, cooling pipes 8 are laid out linearly in the shortest distance without zigzagging the cooling pipes 8, which connect the upper part of a cooler 1 with its lower part, before and behind as viewed from the side of the cooler 1. Furthermore, since the upper and lower parts of the cooler 1 are connected with a connection pipe 10, heat transmission by refrigerant is carried out actively not only in the cooling pipes 8 but also the connection pipe 10. Therefore, the differential temperature between the upper part and the lower part of the cooler 1 is quickly equalized so that defrost may be completed in an extremely shorter time compared with the time in a conventional art.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an easy ice removal operation to be carried out under a simple lever operation for transparent ice block formed in an upper pan by a method wherein a lever mechanism utilizing a principle of lever is arranged at an outer circumference of upper ends of the upper pan and a lower pan. CONSTITUTION:A lever mechanism 6 is comprised of a projection 7 arranged at a flange 2b of a lower pan 2 and a lever 8. Engagement between the lever 8 and the projection 7 is carried out by fitting a fulcrum point 8a of the lever 8 into a small hole 7a of the projection 7. A force acting point 8b of the lever 8 is engaged with a rib 9 arranged at an upper end outer circumference of the upper pan 1. With such a configuration, as the lever 8 and the flange 2b of the lower pan 2 are held, its holding force is multiplied in a ratio of lever, act against a working point 8b and the rib 9. Then, the upper pan 1 can easily be peeled off from the lower pan 2. If the upper pan 1 can be taken out, transparent ice within the pan can be easily removed under quite same manner as that of the prior art handling of the ice tray.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted refrigerator in which a battery can be prevented from dying even if the load current is varied by detecting overdischarge at a correct battery voltage even if the length of wiring is different among different types of vehicle. SOLUTION: A control means for preventing overdischarge 13 controls the temperature in the compartment by varying the voltage of a cooling means 8 comprising a thermoelectric element 5 depending on the temperature in the compartment and detects overdischarge of a battery 15 by detecting the input voltage through an input voltage detecting circuit 14. Since the input voltage is compensated by a voltage corresponding to the load current, overdischarge can be detected constantly with a correct battery voltage and the battery is protected against dying.

SOLUTION: An outside temperature detection sensor to detect the temperature of the outside temperature and an in-chamber temperature detection sensor to detect the in-chamber temperature are provided, the drive voltage of a thermoelectric member is set to the high level VH and the low level VL according to the outside air temperature, and the thermoelectric member is driven in an appropriately preferential manner of the relationship between the efficiency of the thermoelectric heat exchange block and the heat absorption by switching the high level VH and the low level VL according to the in-chamber temperature.
