Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a compact two-cylinder rotary compressor of low noise by simplifying a muffler so as to release discharge flow from each compression chamber with phase difference in the muffler. CONSTITUTION:A crankshaft 22 is provided with a first and a second eccentric shafts 23, 24 with approximately 180 deg. phase in the eccentric direction. A first middle plate 28 is provided with a first discharge opening 30 for the passing of discharge flow from a first compression chamber 29, and a first cylinder 31 is provided with a first communicating hole 33 for leading the discharge flow to a muffler 32. A second middle plate 34 is provided with the first communicating hole 33 for the passing of discharge flow from the first compression chamber 29, and the first communicating hole 33 is communicated with a second communicating hole 35. A non-rotor side housing 36 is provided with a second discharge opening 38 for the passing of discharge flow from a second compression chamber 37 as well as with a release hole 39 communicated with the second communicating hole 35 so as to release discharge flow from the first compression chamber 29 to a muffler 32. A second cylinder 40 forms the second compression chamber 37 together with the second middle plate 34 and the non-rotor side housing 36 and is provided with the second communicating hole 35 for communicating the first communicating hole 33 and the release hole 39.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a highly efficient and low cost refrigeration cycle system by providing the system with a check valve between a vaporizer and a compressor and providing a rotary compressor with a permanent condenser type driving motor. CONSTITUTION:A check valve 9 is provided between a vaporizer 4 and a compressor 19 and a differential pressure valve 5 operated by the difference in a pressure between the check valve 6 and the rotary compressor 19 is provided between a capillary tube 3 and a condenser 2. The rotary compressor 19 is provided with a permanent condenser type driving motor 20. When the operation of the rotary compressor 19 is stopped, the check valve 6 is closed and an inner pressure is increased by the counterflow of a high pressure gas from the rotary compressor 19. A change in the pressure thus generated opens a differential pressure valve 5 and the heated high pressure gas is charged in the rotary compressor 19 and the condenser 2, the inflow of the gas to the capillary tube 3 and the vaporizer 4 being obstructed. Thus, a highly efficient and low cost refrigeration cycle system is obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate separation of waste from gas by forming a gas bleeder hole, which is to put oil supply hole formed in a rotary shaft in a single piece with a crank shaft stretching in the longitudinal direction of the compressing mechanism in communication with a sealed vessel in such an arrangement that its backmost part is inclined lower, and forming this backmost part to be used as a waster storage hole. CONSTITUTION:In this sealed compressor, a crank shaft 8 is rotated by a motor part through a rotary shaft 8a to which the rotor of said motor part is fixed, and a piston 7 of the compressor part is reciprocated through a connecting rod 9, to compress the refrigerant and discharge. At this time, the refrigerator oil 14 is sucked through an oil lead-in hole 16 formed at the bottom of said rotary shaft 8a, and supplied to parts to be lubricated via an oil supply hole 17 formed inclined. Here a gas bleeder hole 18 to put the oil supply hole 17 in communication to inside the sealed vessel is formed in the rotary shaft 8a in such a way that the backmost portion is inclined lower, and this backmost portion is made deeper than the oil supply hole 17 so as to be used as a waste storage hole 19, which shall serve separation and removal of waste from the gas.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce magnetic flux leaking into a casing by providing a magnetic shield between a stator core forming part of an electric motor and the fitting part of the casing constituting a compression mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When an electric motor 6 is fixed with bolts 8 to a compression mechanism 1, a magnetic shield 10 comprising a non-magnetic substance is fitted between a casing 3 constituting the compression mechanism 1 and a stator core 7 constituting the electric motor 6. The magnetic shield 10 comprises a shield 10a, a through-hole 10b for the bolt 8 and a connection plate 10c, and is formed into ring shape. Consequently, leaking magnetic flux bypassing into the casing 3 from the stator core 7 via the fitting part of the casing 3 hardly appears, thereby improving the characteristics of the electric motor 6.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase heat dissipation from an end ring constituting an electric motor rotor by forming waved portions on both internal and external surfaces of said ring. CONSTITUTION:The end ring 16 of an electric motor rotor 3 has waved parts 17 and 18 on the internal and external surfaces thereof. Due to the turning motion of the rotor 3, an induced current runs through the end ring 16 and heating due to an ohm loss occurs. In this case, the rotor 3 is exposed to larger heat dissipation effect as the surface area of the end ring 16 increases due to the waved parts 17 and 18, thereby restricting the temperature rise of the rotor 3 to a low level.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a sliding loss by providing a recessed part on an opposite sliding surface so that difference in surface pressures between the opposite sliding surfaces becomes constant. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 3a provided on the inside surface of a connecting rod 3 is arranged not to directly slide with the eccentric shaft 10 of a crankshaft 4. Also, a recessed part 11a provided on the inside surface of a main bearing 11 which is provided on a casing 5 is arranged not to directly slide with the main shaft 9 of the crankshaft 4. The recessed parts 3a, 11a are provided in B parts which are subjected to less loads, with their sliding areas being made smaller than those of A parts respectively, and placed so that the surface pressures of the sliding parts are constant, thereby, reducing a sliding loss.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a clearance hard to be generated between a communicating tube and a cylinder head by providing a steel strip to bring the communicating tube inserted into the cylinder head into pressure contact with the cylinder head, and forming a pressure contact part to be brought into pressure contact by the steel strip of the communicating tube into a taper shape so as to become thick toward the cylinder head side. SOLUTION: A suction muffler of an enclosed motor-driven compressor is provided with a communicating tube 10 having a taper-shaped pressure contact part 10a so as to become thick toward the cylinder head 5 side inserted into an inserting hole 5c of a cylinder head 5 and a collar part 10b. When the communicating tube 10 is brought into pressure contact with the cylinder head 5 by a steel strip 8 through an oil capillary 7 by being connected to screws 9a and 9b, since the pressure contact part 10a is formed into a taper shape such as becoming thick toward the cylinder head 5 side, pressure contact force of the steel strip 8 acts toward the cylinder head 5 side through the pressure contact part 10a of the communicating tube 10. Therefore, a clearance is hardly generated between the communicating tube 10 and the cylinder head 5.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a suction valve open while twisting it and satisfactorily follow a piston to increase suction efficiency, by positioning the axis of a tray pan part installed at one end of a suction port eccentrically from the center of an arc which forms a part of the valve end part of the suction valve. CONSTITUTION:When a piston 10 is reciprocated, refrigerant gas passes a suction port 12 of a valve plate 11, and sucked into a cylinder 6 by the opening and closing of a suction valve 13. In this case, the suction valve 13 opens the suction port 12 with its valve end part 13a twisted, and is set in parallel with the suction port 12. Namely a tray pan part 12a is installed at one end of the suction port 12, and an axis 12b is positioned eccentrically from the center 13b of an arc which forms a part of the valve end part 13a. Accordingly the suction valve 13 makes a torsional motion of relatively low rigidity, and satisfactorily follows the reciprocating motion of the piston 10. Then the refrigerant gas passes a delivery port 3 of the valve plate 11 after it is compressed in the cylinder 6, and is discharged according to the opening and closing of a delivery valve 4.

A holder 28a has a thick section 28c over the whole periphery of a bearing holding section 28b, it is fixed to the compression element 23 via the fixing sections 28d, 28e on a cylinder 29 side and a fixing section on the compression stroke side according to the rotating direction of the crank shaft 24, and the center surface 32 perpendicular to the axial direction 31 of the upper bearing 26 is formed on the upper side of the axial direction 31 against a plane 30 formed by the fixing sections 28d, 28e.

An optional curve C19 forming the closed container 14 is formed of asymmetric curvature as and line segment length unequal to CX20, CY21, CZ22 existing in the positions symmetric to the respective planes X16, Y17, Z18.
