    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an easy and precise active control which muffles noise generated with an intervention by artificial noise by forming a machine room in a rectangular in which the dimension in one direction is set longer than that in the other direction. CONSTITUTION:A machine room 12 is shaped to open in rectangular on a backside and an opposing backside, and an opening part on the backside is closed by a machine room cover 17. An opening part on the opposing backside is closed by a partition 18, and thus, the machine room 12 provides a rectangular space closed by the machine room cover 17 and the partition 18, leaving radiation openings 17a and 18a unclosed. With respect to the dimension of the machine room 12 closed in rectangular, a width (W) and a depth (D) are set larger than a height (H), so that standing wave of noise in the machine room 12 forms in one direction, whereby the noise in the machine room 12 can be regarded as a plane travelling wave of one dimension. As a result, simplification of active control of the noise generated corresponding to driving of a compressor in the unclosed machine room and improvement in control precision can be realized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To rapidly attain set temperature in a room while improving heating efficiency at the time of heating operation being started by providing a blowing wind quantity distribution means for distributing conditioned air into a lower outlet opened in a room and an outlet opened in a lower space of a double floor, and a draft opening communicated with the room by an end part in the double floor. CONSTITUTION:At the time of heating operation being started, a damper 32 is driven to blow hot wind from a draft opening 37 and a lower outlet 34 so that a living range 24 may reach set temperature rapidly. And, when it reaches the set temperature, the damper 32 is driven to block an air passage at the time of heating operation start to blow the whole hot wind from said draft opening 37 so as to heat the living range 24 with the use of the hot wind from the whole floor. Thereby, heating efficiency is good and uniform temperature distribution can be obtained. In addition, at the time of cooling, cold air is blowed upward from an upper outlet 30 and naturally drops by self-weight after colliding with the ceiling, comfortable and very uniform temperature distribution by the wind can be obtained to realize high quality air conditioning.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the pressure loss in the pipe so as to prevent the heating capacity from dropping by connecting the delivery side refrigerant pipe of a compressor to a refrigerant pipe which connects an expansion valve to an outdoor heat exchanger by means of a refrigerant pipe having a two-way valve and a bypass expansion valve, and providing an outdoor temperature sensing means and a two-way valve control means which opens the two-way valve for a required time interval based on the outdoor temperature. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant pipe 10 connecting an expansion valve 4 to an outdoor heat exchanger 5 and the delivery side refrigerant pipe 7 of a compressor 1 are mutually connected by a refrigerant pipe 13 having a two-way valve 14 and a bypass expansion valve 15. An outdoor temperature sensing means 20 detects the outdoor temperature through its temperature sensor 16, and, based on the outdoor temperature, a two-way valve open/close interval determining means 21 computes the open/close interval of the two-way valve 14 to determine the time interval in which the two-way valve 14 is opened after the previous closure of the two-way valve 14. A two-way valve open time determining means 22 computes the open time of the two-way valve 14 to determine the duration of opening of the two way valve 14. A two-way valve control means 23 controls the two-way valve 14 based on these data. An expansion valve opening correcting means 30 corrects, sets and controls the opening of the expansion valve 4 when the two-way valve 14 is open.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the analyzing of phase change of melting and solidifying as well as analyzing of an air current distribution or a temperature distribution by a method wherein the calculation of a sensible heat of an objective fluid is executed and the sensible heat is converted to a latent heat from a phase change transition temperature, thereby calculating an average physical property value under a two-phase condition. SOLUTION: A calculation condition setting section 1 sets a judgment value whereby a maximum number of repeat calculation of a convergence judgment section 6 and a judgment value for controlling a physical quantity calculation section 2. In the calculation section 2, a group of partial differential equations are replaced to a difference equation with respect to a group of calculation lattices positioned on an analysis space in a cartesian coordinate system and each of the physical values such as a speed of a fluid and a temperature is calculated by executing repeat calculation in accordance with the judgment of the judgment section 9. A sensible heat/latent heat conversion section 3 calculates an inner energy from a difference between a phase change transition temperature and a temperature calculated out by the calculation section 2. A phase change judgment section 4 determines a phase of a calculation lattice in accordance with a difference between the phase change transition energy obtained by the setting section 1 and the inner energy obtained by the conversion section 3. When it is judged that the lattice is in a two-phase condition, an average physical property value of the two-phase condition is calculated by a physical property value conversion section 5.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain heat dissipating performance of a machine room without influence of installing conditions of a refrigerator by providing a compressor, an air inlet vent hole, an air flowout vent hole at the room in a lower part of the refrigerator, providing a shielding plate at a lower part of the front surface of the refrigerator, and providing an opening at part of the plate corresponding to the forward vent hole. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor is operated, a machine room reaches a high temperature to generate a natural convection, heated air of the room starts to flow from an air flowout vent hole 4, and a flow of the air flowing to the room is simultaneously generated. The flow of the room allows the air of an ambient temperature at a front surface of a refrigerator to pass an opening 2a of a shielding plate and efficiently flows from an air inlet vent hole 3 to the room. Thus, the heated air to be discharged from the hole 4 passes through a gap of a back surface of the refrigerator by a natural convection without flowing again from the hole 3 to the room by short-circuiting the gap of the back surface of the refrigerator and a gap between a bottom and a floor of the refrigerator and flows out from an upper part of a ceiling of the refrigerator to the front of the refrigerator.

CONSTITUTION:In heating, the indoor air sucked into an inlet 30 undergoes heating by a heat exchanger 18 and then is sent into an air duct 24 by a blower 21; at this time, since the air is ejected at temperatures above 30 deg.C, a spring 28 expands along a spring guide 29 with an effect to push a damper 27 upward; as a result, warm air flows downward through the air duct 24, through a lower outlet 23 into a space 32 formed by a double floor 31 under the room, through the space 32 and then into the room through a vent 33. In cooling, the indoor air sucked into the inlet 30 undergoes cooling by the heat exchanger 18 and then is sent into the air duct 24 by the blower 21; at this time, since the air is ejected at temperature blow 30 deg.C, the spring 28 contracts along the spring guide 29 with an effect to pull the damper 27 downward; as a result, cool air flows upward through the air duct 24, flows out through an upper outlet 22, and after impinging against the ceiling 12, descends spreading in the room.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To quickly raise the room temperature up to a set temperature at start-up of heating operation and improve the efficiency by a method wherein at start-up of heating operation, the warm air is distributed to an auxiliary air outlet which opens to a room and an air blow port located at the end of a double floor, the warm air is blown only from the warm air blow port located at the end of the double floor after the room temperature reaches the set temperature, and cooled air is blown from an upper air outlet during cooling operation. CONSTITUTION:A first damper 32 is driven to distribute the warm air to a lower air outlet 31 and an air path 33, and a second damper 43 is driven to induce a greater portion of the warm air which is distributed to the air path 33 into an upper space of a heat exchanger for re-heat exchanging. This high temperature warm air is blown from the lower air outlet 31, passes through a lower space 36, and is blown out from an air outlet 37. Simultaneously, a residential area 24 is heated from above by the warm air blown from an auxiliary air outlet 34 so as to make the room temperature approach the set temperature quickly. The first damper 32 is gradually closed by a temperature sensor 39, and when the room temperature reaches the set temperature, the first damper 32 is driven to block the air path 33. At the same time, the second damper 43 is also closed to reduce the recirculation air flow, and the warm air is blown only from the air outlet 37.

When they are not satisfied, i.e., when a temperature detected by the upper room temperature detecting device 38 is widely different from the set temperature, or when a difference between an upper room temperature and lower room temperature is large, by operating a damper 32, a lower space 36 is closed, and hot air is blown out from a front blow-out port 34 only to warm a living area 24, and air is drawn from an upper blow-out port 30. In the meantime, when the room temperature is sufficiently close to the set temperature, and a difference in temperature between the room upper part and lower part is large, by operating the damper 32, an air passage 33 is closed, and hot air blown out from a blow-out port 31 passes through the lower space 36, blows out from the ventilation port 37, warms a double floor 35, and warms the living area 24 from the bottom.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the indoor temperature distribution ideal with more warmth around the lower part of the body than the upper part by a method wherein an indoor machine capable of switching the outlet for air according to heat or cooling is provided, the indoor machine is made to communicate with the void in a double floor, openings are formed in the ceiling board as passage through which the ceiling chamber communicates with the room, and openings are formed in the double floor as passages connecting the void to the room. CONSTITUTION:In heating, a fan 23 rotates in the normal direction; the indoor air is sucked through openings-ceiling 31 and into an upper outlet 28, and by undergoing heat exchange at a heat exchanger 21, the air turns to warm air. The warmed air flows into an air duct 26 through a connection port 25 and is conveyed through a lower outlet 30 to a void 14 in a double floor 5; through openings-in-floor 15 bored in the double floor 5 the warmed air is ejected into the room, mainly into a living region 6 therein, at very low air speed. The warmed air thus ejected warms the living region 6 and then flows through openings-in-ceiling 31 into a ceiling chamber 16 and sucked into the upper outlet 28. In coding, the fan 23 rotates in reverse so that the indoor air is sucked through the openings-in-floor 15 into the void 14; then through the lower outlet 30 into the air duct 26, and through the connection port 25 into the indoor machine 19.
