Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for meat preservation and aging designed to fully afford meat with deliciousness and not to cause to meat to be spoiled by sundry germs. SOLUTION: In this method, A meat is subjected to a preservation and aging at a freezing temperature of -5 to -15 deg.C for 1-10 weeks, and following the preceding step, is subjected to a thawing and aging step at a temp of -3 to 5 deg.C for 6-24 h at least once. Thereby, the levels of free amino acids and/or inosinic acid in the resulting meat increase through preventing it from breeding sundry germs therein.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a load by providing a second timer for accumulating a predetermined time after there is set up a first timer for a predetermined time simultaneously with starting of a timer, and interrupting power supply to a fan during the accumulation of the second timer when a condenser temperature sensor is higher than a predetermined temperature upon the first timer being set up. CONSTITUTION:A first timer included in a microcomputer starts accumulation simultaneously with starting of a compressor 26. When temperature of a condenser 27 is lower than condensation temperature detected by a condensation temperature sensor 28 when the first timer accumulates a predetermined time preset by the first timer, operation of the compressor 26 and a fan 23 are continued. In contrast, when temperature in a refrigerator body is considerably high, and temperature in a condenser 27 is higher, the microcomputer instructs the compressor 26 and the fan 23 to be operated and the first timer starts accumulation. When the temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature, the second timer starts accumulation during a predetermined time. When the condenser temperature is higher than the predetermined temperature, the second timer starts accumulation for a predetermined time. Operation of the fan 23 is interrupted during the time the second timer performs the accumulation operation.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce unevenness of temperature in a third chamber and eliminate condensation and freezing in the vicinity of a refrigeration chamber suction port by forming a cold air suction port of a third chamber in a partition wall located backward from the cold air discharge port independently from the cold air suction port of the refrigeration chamber. CONSTITUTION: A cold air introduction passage 19 to a third chamber 4 is provided in a partition wall 14 such that one end is coupled with a cold air discharge passage 12 and the other is communicated with a cold air discharge port 20 provided frontally of the third chamber 4. A cold air return passage 21 of the third chamber 4 is adapted such that one side is coupled with a cold air return passage 15 of a refrigeration chamber 3 and the other is communicated with a cold air suction port 22 formed in the wall 14 in the rearward of the port 20 of the third chamber 4. Hereby, cold air is supplied to a front center of the third chamber, and hence there is eliminated temperature unevenness where a front part in the chamber is higher but a rear part in the chamber is lower, and the cold air does not pass through a suction port in a suction cold air refrigeration chamber and hence condensation and freezing are also prevented in the vicinity of the refrigeration chamber suction port.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a switching chamber for changing a temperature zone to zones of freezing and refrigerating or a low temperature zone for partially freezing or chilling as intermediate temperature between the temperatures of freezing and refrigerating depending on the use of a user, in addition to a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber which have been conventionally provided. SOLUTION: When a switching means 54 is set to freezing, the start of operation of a compressor 36 and a blower 38 is controlled from the temperature of the temperature detecting means 58 of a freezing chamber or the temperature detecting means 55 of a switching chamber. The stop of the operation of the compressor 36 and the blower 38 is controlled from the temperature of both the detecting means 58 of the freezing chamber the temperature detecting means 55 of the switching chamber. Thus, the temperature of the switching chamber 29 can be satisfactorily maintained at suitable temperature without depending on the temperature control of the freezing chamber 31.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator to improve facility and containing capacity of a vegetable chamber the using frequency of which is increased due to the increase of a consumption amount of vegetables resultant from a recent health intention. SOLUTION: A refrigerator is provided at an upper part with a refrigerating chamber 25, at a lower part with a refrigerating chamber 27, and at a central part with a vegetable chamber 31. A draft duct 45 arranged on the upper surface of a cover body to cover a vegetable container 33 and communicated with the suction duct of a low temperature chamber 30, a circulation duct 47 formed at the outer periphery of the vegetable container 33, and a feedback duct 49 communicated from the deep surface of the vegetable chamber with a cooler 35 are coupled together to form a cooling air passage for the vegetable chamber 31. This constitution performs preservation and management of vegetables, the using frequency of which is high, at a central part where facility is improved, and improves containing ability. Further, cooling capacity of the vegetable chamber 31 is rationally ensured as temperature distribution of the vegetable container 33 is improved.
