Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain heat dissipating performance of a machine room without influence of installing conditions of a refrigerator by providing a compressor, an air inlet vent hole, an air flowout vent hole at the room in a lower part of the refrigerator, providing a shielding plate at a lower part of the front surface of the refrigerator, and providing an opening at part of the plate corresponding to the forward vent hole. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor is operated, a machine room reaches a high temperature to generate a natural convection, heated air of the room starts to flow from an air flowout vent hole 4, and a flow of the air flowing to the room is simultaneously generated. The flow of the room allows the air of an ambient temperature at a front surface of a refrigerator to pass an opening 2a of a shielding plate and efficiently flows from an air inlet vent hole 3 to the room. Thus, the heated air to be discharged from the hole 4 passes through a gap of a back surface of the refrigerator by a natural convection without flowing again from the hole 3 to the room by short-circuiting the gap of the back surface of the refrigerator and a gap between a bottom and a floor of the refrigerator and flows out from an upper part of a ceiling of the refrigerator to the front of the refrigerator.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the cooling effect on the condenser and the compressor and shut off the transmission of the noise of a refrigerator toward the front by directing a flow of air from an inlet to an outlet in one direction. CONSTITUTION:Air taken in through an opening in a panel front 37 at the lower, front part of a refrigerator is sucked in by a fan through an air inlet 27a above a stand 27 for a condenser and a compressor 26 immediately under a fan. This flow of air joins another flow of air sucked in by a fan through an air inlet in a machine-chamber cover 30 and flows past the condenser and to the compressor 26, evaporating pan 28, and its brim 28a in a manner of convection and to a discharge port formed in the machine-chamber cover 30. There is also a shielding plate 33 which is fastened to a joint 36 of the stand 27 and the bottom plate 23 of the outer casing and suspended toward the floor 35. This shielding plate 33 functions to increase the cooling effect on the condenser and the compressor 26 and also to shut off the transmission of the noise toward the front of the refrigerator.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the sound of a compressor from coming forward without discomforting a user at one's feet with exhausted hot air by dividing a machine chamber into halves, laying out a compressor and a blower on a placement board in one section and constituting the divided other section with a heating plate and a defrost water pan, laying out a sound arresting plate to which a convection hole is installed at a position where the machine chamber is divided into halves, and providing an air suction port installed on the placement board located in the lower part and behind the compressor, a machine chamber cover installed to the rear side of the machine chamber, and a exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:A machine chamber 11 is divided into halves. In one section, are laid out a compressor 15 and a blower 14 on a mount 12 while the other section comprises a heating plate 17 and a defrost water pan 16. A sound arresting plate 21 provided with a convection hole 22 is installed at a position where the machine chamber 11 is divided into halves. The chamber is provided with an air suction port 13 installed on the mount 12 located below-behind a blower 14, a machine chamber cover 19 installed to the rear of the machine chamber, and an exhaust port 20. This construction prevents the hot air exhausted from the exhaust port 20 so that the exhausted air may not come to the feet of the user, thereby arresting the sound from the compressor 15 with the sound arresting plate 21.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To solve problems of lowered efficiency and degraded performance of a compressor and noises of refrigerators and the like by a method wherein a flow of air from a blower is kept in one direction to cool a compressor and a condenser effectively with higher cooling effect of a pre-cooling pipe of the compressor by air taken from the blower while convection effect by air blown from a blower is improved in the action of evaporation of an evaporation tray. CONSTITUTION:A machine chamber 22 is sectioned with a placement plate 27 and divided in two with a partition 35. In one compartment, a condenser 24 and a blower 25 are arranged on the placement plate 27 side by side. An air suction port 27a provided on the placement plate 27 right below the condenser 24 and a pre-cooling pipe 37 which comprises a cover of the machine chamber on the rear side thereof provided with the air suction port 27a and a discharge port at positions left and right dividing the machine chamber 22 in two to ore-cool the compressor 26 are arranged on the side of a heat insulating material of a slope part 23a of a case bottom plate on the side of the compressor 26, a portion of the machine chamber 22 being divided in two with the partition 35, and on the side of a heat insulating material 41 of a rear side of the case respectively in the form of a gate.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an easy ice removal operation to be carried out under a simple lever operation for transparent ice block formed in an upper pan by a method wherein a lever mechanism utilizing a principle of lever is arranged at an outer circumference of upper ends of the upper pan and a lower pan. CONSTITUTION:A lever mechanism 6 is comprised of a projection 7 arranged at a flange 2b of a lower pan 2 and a lever 8. Engagement between the lever 8 and the projection 7 is carried out by fitting a fulcrum point 8a of the lever 8 into a small hole 7a of the projection 7. A force acting point 8b of the lever 8 is engaged with a rib 9 arranged at an upper end outer circumference of the upper pan 1. With such a configuration, as the lever 8 and the flange 2b of the lower pan 2 are held, its holding force is multiplied in a ratio of lever, act against a working point 8b and the rib 9. Then, the upper pan 1 can easily be peeled off from the lower pan 2. If the upper pan 1 can be taken out, transparent ice within the pan can be easily removed under quite same manner as that of the prior art handling of the ice tray.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the invading amount of the heat of a dewing preventing pipe into the case of a refrigerator and obtain efficient cooling effect, by a method wherein the inlet port and the outlet port of the dewing preventing pipe are arranged respectively so as to be positioned at the upper and lower positions of a transversal partition or the left-and-right positions of a lateral partition while the other part of the same pipe is formed by bending. CONSTITUTION:A dewing preventing pipe 11 enters from a transversal partition 5a and enters through a lateral partition 6b, then, is U-turned to penetrate through the transversal partition 5b and is run along the upper surface 20 of the main body 1 of a refrigerator. The heat of high-pressure refrigerant gas from a compressor 15 is dissipated in a condenser 16 and the gas is liquefied, then, flows into the dewing preventing pipe 11 positioned on the transversal partitioning 5a, however, there is only one dewing preventing pipe on the transversal partitionings 5a, 5b whereby the amount of heat, invading into the casing of the refrigerator through a forming member 14, becomes one half of the amount of dissipating heat when two of the dewing preventing pipes are arranged in parallel. Accordingly, thermal affection, affected into the case of the refrigerator, may be reduced to one half naturally and efficient cooling effect may be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To smoothly achieve defrosting in an inner box by preventing an inner box wall surface facing to an outlet of a cooling pipe located in the vicinity of an outlet of a refrigerator chamber from being subjected to local supercooling upon a compressor being interrupted by providing a reverse U shaped trap on an inlet side of a freezing chamber cooling cooling pipe disposed on a heat insulation member side of the inner box. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator chamber cooling pipe 15 flows a refrigerant from an inlet 15a of a refrigerator chamber cooling pipe and is coupled with a freezing chamber cooling pipe 16 at its outlet 15b. An inlet part 16a of the freezing chamber cooling pipe 16 is configured into a reverse U shaped trap, and is disposed in contact with an inner box back surface 3c. Hereby, when the compressor is interrupted, the freezing chamber cooling pipe inlet part is constructed as the reverse U shaped trap, so that the refrigerant is prevented from being reversely flowed to the refrigeration chamber cooling pipe outlet, and the cooling pipe located in the vicinity of the refrigeration chamber outlet and an inner box surface facing to the refrigeration chamber outlet from being subjected to local supercooling whereby there is achieved smoothly defrosting on the refrigerator chamber inner box surface utilizing an electric heater.
