Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of foamed polyurethane insulating material and provide a door structure which presents little deformation and can be installed in a level position by inserting one of ribs disposed on the inside of the door cover into a channel-shaped groove in the door frame and engaging the other rib with the rib retaining part erected on the door frame. CONSTITUTION:A half-completed door is set in a foaming jig with the entire periphery of the door backing plate 7 being pressed against the bearing part 11d of the door frame 11, and then, foam polyurethane insulating material 8 is filled and foamed therein. By means of the bonding effect of the foamed polyurethane insulating material 8, the component parts are joined together to formed a structure of a door 2, wherein a gasket 6 is inserted to a groove 11c in the door frame 11. By securely fastening the door cover and the door frame with the ribs and hooks, the displacement or dislodging of the door cover can be prevented.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of heat invading in a chamber in a refrigerator as low as possible, improve the cooling efficiency, and save energy by rationally maintaining the dew formation prevention function of dew prevention piping. SOLUTION: By providing a refrigeration chamber 37 formed at the upper portion of a first partition wall 35 in a heat-insulation box 31, a vegetable chamber 38 formed between the first and second partition walls 35 and 36, a refrigeration chamber 39 formed at the lower portion of the second partition wall 36, by arranging a line of dew-preventing pipe 53 on the front of the first and second partition walls 35 and 36, and by arranging condensation piping 54 on the inner surface of an outer box separated from the opening peripheral end part of the heat-insulation box 31 by a specific distance L68, the dew formation of the opening peripheral end of the first and second partition walls 35 and 36, the refrigeration chamber 37, the vegetable chamber 38, and the refrigeration chamber 39 is prevented rationally with simple and inexpensive piping configuration, and at the same time amount of invasion quantity of heat is reduced and cooling efficiency is improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the preserving quality of foods by averaging indoor temperatures, in a forced ventilation cooling system refrigerating chamber. SOLUTION: An air circulation duct 26 is provided at the central rear part in a refrigerating chamber 17 in a vertical direction and an air circulating fan 27 is provided at the lower part of the duct 26 to such air in the lower part of the chamber and discharge the same into the upper part of the chamber. Cold air discharging ducts 23 are arranged in a vertical direction at both sides of the rear part in the refrigerating chamber 26 with a predetermined space between the air circulating duct 26 whereby the cooling temperature distributions in the vertical and transverse directions in the chamber are averaged.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent condensation or frost on the back surface of the lid of a vegetable case by arranging a shielding plate on the flow-in side of the return path of chilled air for a vegetable compartment and a ventilating path inside a thermally insulating partition walls. SOLUTION: The one side of the chilled air return path of a vegetable compartment formed inside the thermally insulated partition walls 16 forming a freezing compartment 4 and a vegetable compartment 6 partitioning them is connected to the refrigerating compartment 7, the other side is connected to the vegetable compartment 6 and the inlet hole 17a is arranged on the side of the vegetable compartment 6. The top board of the vegetable compartment 18 constituting the thermally insulated partition walls 16 is positioned vertical to the inlet hole 17a and forms a shielding board 18a extending upward from the lower surface 17b. The one side of ventilating path 19 formed inside the thermally insulating partition walls 16 is connected to the return path of the chilled air for the vegetable compartment 17 and the other side is connected to the flow-out hole 13a of the chilled air return path for the refrigerating compartment 13. When a blower 9 is stopped, the chilled air inside the refrigerating chamber 7 is stopped by the shielding plate 18a through the chilled air return path for the vegetable compartment 17 and flows out from the ventilating path 19 through the flow-out hole 13a to the backside of the vegetable case 14. Therefore, the lid 15 of the vegetable case 14 is not cooled preventing condensation and frost on the back surface.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To shorten the time for making ice by attaching a sensor in a space partitioned off in an ice-making vessel-holding part and providing a plurality of communicating holes by which the space with the sensor and the space to hold an ice-making vessel in the ice-making vessel-holding part communicate. CONSTITUTION: At the top side inside a freezing chamber there is provided an ice-making vessel-holding part 8, in which an ice-making vessel 10 containing water is placed. In a space 14 partitioned off in the ice-making vessel-holding part 8 a sensor 13 is attached and a plurality of communicating holes 15 by which the space 14 with the sensor and the space 9 to hold the ice-making vessel 10 in the ice-making vessel-holding part 8 communicate are provided. When the temperature of air rises, the sensor 13 detects the temperature through the communicating holes 15, the compressor and fan are actuated, and the chilled air blown by the fan is sent through a duct 11, discharged from a discharge hole and cools the water in the ice-making vessel 10. This method enables making ice in a short time.

CONSTITUTION:The fourth emitting duct 22 is provided to the back surface of a low temp. chamber 5 and one end thereof is connected to the third emitting duct 15 and the other two ends thereof are opened to both deep corners of the top surface of the low temp. chamber 5. The fifth emitting duct 23 is connected to the fourth emitting duct 22 and forwardly extend from the interior of both corners of the top surface of the low temp. chamber 5. The fifth emitting duct 23 is formed from an insulating material 24 provided with a plurality of emitting orifices 23a. The cover 25 becoming a part of the top surface of the low temp. chamber 5 is provided so as to cover the heat insulating material 24 and the engaging part 25 of the cover 25 is mounted to the side wall 26 of the low temp. chamber 5 in a contact state. By this constitution, even when the cover 25 is cold by the cold air in the fifth emitting duct 23 through the heat insulating material 24, the difference between the temp. of the cover 25 itself and that of the low temp. chamber 5 is eliminated.
