    Abstract: PURPOSE: To eliminate damage of fresh preservability in a vegetable chamber due to a high temperature of the chamber in summer or according to installing conditions. CONSTITUTION: A cold storage chamber 21, a freezing chamber 22 and a vegetable chamber 23 are sequentially formed from above by partition plates 19, 20 heat insulated in a heat insulation box 18. The inlets of a discharge duct 33 for the storage chamber and a discharge duct 34 for the vegetable chamber for feeding cold gas to the chambers 21, 23 are controlled by a damper having a shared flap, the one cold gas is returned from the chamber 21 to a cooler chamber via a return duct 39 for the storage chamber, and the other cold gas is returned from the chamber 23 to the cooler chamber via a return duct 41 for the vegetable chamber.

SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with an air circulation duct 26 provided vertically at an inner central part in the cold storage chamber, a fan 27 for air circulation provided at the lowest part in the duct, a deodorizing means 30 and a room illumination lamp 31 arranged on the lee side above the fan, an air circulation duct 26 and a chilled air discharge duct 23 provided vertically at both inner end parts thereof. The fan 27 for air circulation is operated at the stoppage of a compressor 22 and in a fixed time after the opening or closing of a door.

CONSTITUTION:The refrigerator comprises a special purpose damper unit 32 for returning cooling air from a cooler 9 to the cooler 9 via a vegetable chamber return passage 35 for returning the air fed to a vegetable chamber 6 via a special purpose vegetable chamber forward passage and controlling the supply of the air from the cooler 9 to the forward passage. The unit 32 for the vegetable chamber is so controlled as to be forcedly closed when a fan 8 is stopped.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow even and short time thawing by providing a far infrared heater having a dome-shaped reflector with vent holes to cover the back of it at the upper part, a defrosting pan having a heating heater and temperature detector on the base, and a temperature detector on the inside wall, and by opening a ventilation passage formed behind the reflector for controlling cold air inflow. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature detector 43 installed on the base detects the first given temperature, a far infrared heater 34 and heating heater 42 are continuously energized to rise rapidly a thawing temperature of frozen food, and then the intermittent energization rate of both heaters are reduced to the second and third steps. At the first and second steps, cold air is supplied uniformly to the frozen food through damper thermostat 19, 20 and through a plurality of vent holes 40 made in a reflector plate 39 to control a temperature rise of frozen food surface. At the third step, the damper thermostats 19, 20 are closed, preventing exhaust air in a thawing room 15 from being recovered to a chiller. After thawing completed, owing to the temperature control function of the damper thermostats 19, 20 operated at the second given temperature of the temp. detector 31, frozen food is automatically kept at an intermediate temperature between cold storage and freezer storage temperature.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent defrosting water that is overflowed from an evaporating tray from dropping onto the installation surface of a refrigerator by allowing the evaporation dish being arranged between a compressor and a drain pipe to contact a protrusion at the upper part of the compressor of an outer box and the compressor. SOLUTION: A protrusion 10 that is formed in one piece by an external box 9 of a box body 8 comprising a heat-insulating material is allowed to contact an evaporation tray 7, and a heat-conductive member 11 being applied onto a compressor 4 is heat-exchanged with the evaporation tray 7. When the evaporation tray 7 is set, the position of the upper/lower relationship of the evaporation tray 7 is determined by the protrusion 10 and the lower surface of the evaporation dish 7 is pressed against the heat-conductive member 11, thus allowing the evaporation dish to contact the heat-conductive member in the heat exchange relationship with the evaporation dish without rising in upper direction and exchanging heat stably and hence preventing the defrosting water from overflowing from the evaporation dish.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a defreezing with little unevenness in temperature at each of a central part and a surface part to be realized within a short period of time and upon completion of the defreezing operation to enable a degree of freshness to be kept at such a temperature as one suitable for a raw food such as fish or meat or the like. CONSTITUTION:During a defreezing operation, a blower 18 is forcedly operated and a defreezing time is divided into three stages. At the first stage, an electrical energization for a far infrared ray heater 34 and a heating heater 42 is continuously carried out within a time period ranging from a starting of defreezing to a time in which a temperature of a temperature sensor 43 is increased up to a predetermined temperature and at the same time a damper thermostat 20 is forcedly released. At the second stage, an electrical energization for a far infrared ray heater 35 and a heating heater 42 is intermittently carried out for a specified period of time after a temperature of the temperature sensor 43 is increased up to a predetermined temperature and at the same time the damper thermostat 20 is forcedly released. At the third stage, after elapsing the second stage, the electrical energization for either the far infra-red ray heater or the heating heater is terminated. A heating capacity of both heaters is decreased from the second stage and then the damper thermostat is forcedly closed.
