Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the title device by a method wherein a rotor is stopped at every inlet port of cold air and the outlet port of the same while the cold air inlet port and the cold air outlet port are blockaded by a damper and the flow of cold air to the outlet port is guided by the projected part of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:An outlet port 15a is communicated with a first chamber and another outlet port 15b is communicated with a second chamber while a rotor 19 is stopped at a position whereat a damper unit 19b closes the inlet port 14 of a housing to blockade the inflow of cold air from a cold air discharging port when the temperatures of both chambers are low, for example. When only the temperature of the second chamber is high, the rotor 19 is turned clockwise by 90 deg. whereby the outlet port unit 15a is closed. In this case, the cold air, entered through the discharging port, flows out of the outlet port 15b into the second chamber along the recessed curved surface 19e of the projected part 19e of the rotor 19. According to this method, the temperature control of two chambers can be effected by a single rotor 19 whereby the structure of the captioned device can be simplified.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain excellent control accuracy of a temperature in a refrigerator by a method wherein the refrigerator is provided with a cold air inlet port, communicated with a duct guiding the cold air from an evaporator, and a cold air outlet port, communicated with a refrigerating chamber or a vegetable chamber, while a cold air flow rate controller is arranged in the duct of the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:The outlet port of cold air 15a is communicated with a refrigerating chamber 3b while the outlet port of cold air 15b is communicated with a vegetable chamber 3c and, therefore, the damper unit 19b of a rotor 19 is stopped at a position whereat the inlet port of cold air 14 for a housing 10 is blockaded to blockade the inflow of the cold air through a discharging port of the cold air when the temperatures of both chambers 3b, 3c are low. According to this operation, the entering of the cold air is precluded by the inlet port of cold air 14 and hot air in a refrigerator tries to flow reversely into a cold air flow rate limiting device 7 through ducts 6a, 6b, however, a distance from the inside of a refrigerator is long and, therefore, reverse flow will never be occurred. Accordingly, warm air in the refrigerator is seldom contacted with the cold air in the cold air inlet port 14 whereby dewing or freezing is hardly generated. According to this method, the accuracy of temperature control in the refrigerator can be kept well.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the movement of a rod linearly smooth without rubbing by supporting the rod of a pressure receiving member which follows a response element with the recess part of the bottom plate of the bellows of the pressure response element and the base of the element. CONSTITUTION:A recess part 54a is formed at the central part of a bottom plate 54 of bellows 51 of a pressure response element which is attached to a base 52 of a case 60. A rod 53 of a pressure receiving member which is driven and displaced with the bellows 51 that are displaced in response to pressure is supported with the recess part 54a and the plate 52. The electric signal based on the change in inductance which is proportional to the pressure is detected with a magnetic core and a detecting coil that are provided in the rod 53. In this holding structure, the rod 53 is linearly moved without rubbing in response to the pressure. The highly reliable pressure gage wherein the change in pressure and the change in signal are always stabilized is obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the controlling of a multitude of chambers with a simple structure by a method wherein the title actuator is provided with a driving source for a motor and the like, a driving body, turned in accordance with the rotation of the driving source, and a plurality of detecting means, detecting the position of the driving body and outputting opening and closing signals having difference in time between n-th and the nest opening and closing signals. CONSTITUTION:When a signal is inputted from a control circuit, a motor 16 is rotated and the rotation is transferred to a rotor 19 from a final output stage 18a through a reduction gear group 18. The rotor 19 is rotated in the annular recess 12 of a housing 10. In this case, when a switch knob 25d is arranged on a straight line connecting a pin 20 and the center of an inlet port 14 while an outlet port 15a is communicated with a first chamber and another outlet port 15b is communicated with a second chamber, the damper 19b of the rotor 19 stops at a position closing the inlet port 14 of a housing 10 and, therefore, the inflow of cold air through a discharging port is to be stopped. This condition can be detected by a method wherein a switch 25a is put OFF by a groove 19d for a length C and, thereafter, is put once ON, then, is put OFF by another groove 19e. According to this method, the title actuator can be simple and low in cost while the variability of stopping position of the driving body due to the variability of a timer can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain an easy assemble work at a low cost and certainly hold a shape memory alloy spring (a driving element) at a specified angle by a method wherein ends of a bias spring and the shape memory alloy spring are attached to an opening which is communicated to a cooled air inlet, and ribs are provided on a fixing plate to keep the two springs at a certain angle. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 20 is provided with a protrusion part 24 and a second opening 27. The protrusion part 24 has U-shaped bearings 22 on which rotary pins 22a of a shutter plate 22 are rotatably supported. The second opening 27 accommodates a shape memory alloy spring 25 as a driving source and a bias spring 26. The shutter plate 22 has a shutter part 22b and a spindle part 22d with two hooks A and B (22c and 22e) which hold the shape memory alloy spring 25 and the bias spring 26. The shutter part 22b opens and closes a first opening 21 of the base plate 20 and a sealing material 28 is attached on it to seal the first opening 21. The rotary pins 22a are provided on both ends of the spindle part 22d and rotatably fitted on the U-shaped bearings 24 of the base plate 20. A cover 29 is mounted on the base plate 20 by tapping screws 30 and restricts the longitudinal positioning of the shutter plate 22.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a refrigerator effective inner volume to be widely utilized, realize a small-sized refrigerator and improve an efficiency in operation of the refrigerator by a method wherein sensor means for sensing a position of a rotor is provided, each of rotors for a cold air inlet port and a cold air outlet port is stopped and then both inlet and outlet ports can be opened or closed by a seal part. CONSTITUTION:A cold air inlet port 4 communicated with a cold air inlet port and two outlet ports 5, 6 communicating with the cold air inlet port are disposed on the same circumference spaced apart by 90 deg.. It has a rotatable rotor 1.2 and a seal 1.5 for opening or closing the inlet port 4 and outlet ports 5, 6, and a lead switch 18 for sensing a position of the rotor. Stopping of the rotor 12 at each of the inlet port and outlet port can be carried out by a control circuit. Accordingly, it is satisfactory that a single motor is applied for performing a control of temperature in the two rooms. This device is thin in its size, has a simple structure and becomes a simple damper opening or closing device.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the perfect stopping of the flow of cold air with a simple structure by a method wherein a rotor, rotated in a housing so as to open and/or close one set or more than two sets of cold air outflow ports and the inflow port of cold air, is provided and the rotor is operated so as to be separated from the openings of the inflow port and the outflow ports when the position of the rotor is being changed while the rotor closes the selected openings perfectly after the position of the rotor is changed. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 7 is rotated, a rotor 5, connected mechanically to the motor 7, is rotated and the projected part 5a of the rotor rides on a rib 4q at the center of a housing whereby the flap section 5b of the rotor is separated from the openings 4a, 4b, 4c of a housing. When the position of the rotor 5 is changed to a next opening, the projected part 5a of the rotor enters into notches 4d, 4e, 4f of the central rib of the housing, which are corresponding to the openings 4a, 4b, 4c, and the flap section 5b of the rotor is contacted perfectly and closely with the openings 4a, 4b, 4c of the housing. According to this method, the rotor can be separated from the openings of the housing when the rotor is rotated while the rotor can seal the openings of the housing perfectly when the rotor is stopped after selecting the opening to be closed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make thin a duct panel forming a cold air passage, and improve an effective volume within a refrigerator by a method wherein a rotor having a vane mounted within a cold air duct, having an outlet port communicating with a cold air inlet port and further having an opening in a housing provided with an opening is provided. CONSTITUTION:As a predetermined temperature is sensed by a temperature sensor, a rotor 18 is rotated by a DC motor and when a vane 19' closes an opening 13 of a hosing 10 and when the vane 19' reaches a position where a flow rate resistance is the least value, a vane 19'' may abut against a projection 21 so as to restrict a rotating position of the rotor 18. A erctangular housing 10 is provided with an outlet communicating with a cold air inlet in flush with it, the opening is opened or closed with three vanes fixed in spaced-apart at about 120 deg., so that it is not necessary to apply a displacement margin in view of a thickness of the housing 10 and a cold air blowing direction in the duct panel and further a duct panel can be made thin and further an effective capacity within the refrigerator can be expanded.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To hold an opening/closing plate with energyzing force uniform at all times, and hence provide a damper opening/closing apparatus with a reduced process number by providing a coiled spring on a columnar protrusion penetrating a hole in a central part of the opening/closing plate of a substrate with a coming-off preventive screw. CONSTITUTION: In a damper opening/closing apparatus 101, an opening/closing plate 102 and a motor 103 are provided on the back of a substrate 105, and an elongated hole 109 is provided substantially at the center of the opening/ closing plate 102, and a columnar protrusion 110 is integrally formed on a substrate such that it opposes the hole 109 and penetrates and is protruded therethrough, and further a coiled spring 111 is inserted into the protrusion 110 and is mounted with a coming-off preventive screw 112. With such arrangement, the opening/closing plate 102 is energyzed in a closing direction at all times with the coiled spring 111, and when the opening/closing plate 102 becomes a full open state or more with an abnormal external force, the coiled spring 111 becomes an adherence state to restrict the movement of the opening/closing plate 102. Further, also in assembling the coiled spring 111 is fixed with the coming-off preventive screw 112 whereby the number of manhour is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a damper opening/closing apparatus of a low cost with small number of components without necessity of a switch for detecting a position by positioning a baffle plate for opening/closing an opening of a base plate by using a bevel gear and a substantially columnar cam. CONSTITUTION: The damper opening/closing apparatus 101 comprises a baffle plate 102 as a driven member and a DC motor 103 as its drive source. A protrusion 114 of a mounting base 110 of the plate has gear slots 115 in contact with a bevel gear 113 mounted at an output shaft of the motor 103 on a circumference of a bottom and a truncated protrusion 117 having oblique surfaces 116, 121 without gear slots. And, a substantially columnar cam 119 having an oblique surface 118 in contact with the protrusion 120 of the baffle plate is rotatably provided on an upper surface. Thus, since the baffle plate can be positioned by the bevel gear and the columnar cam, a position detecting switch is eliminated.
