    Abstract: : The actuating device comprises means for displacing the window glass in translation including a drive gear pinion mounted for rotation on a driving shaft, the drive gear pinion being connected to the driving shaft through an auto-lock mechanism, there being interposed between the auto-lock mechanism, on one hand, and the driving shaft and the pinion of the displacing means, on the other hand, respectively means for releasing the auto-lock mechanism under the action of the driving shaft, and means for locking the auto-lock mechanism under the action of the drive gear pinion of the glass displacing means. This device is intended in particular for vehicle window glass raising devices.

    Abstract: A LOCKING ACTUATOR FOR A LATCH OF A VEHICLE DOOR The actuator comprises the following elements a) an electric motor capable of driving in rotation a reversible lead-screw on which is mounted a carriage which is freely slidable and mechanically connected to a lever for locking the latch ; b) a nut mounted on the lead-screw within the carriage, prevented from rotating by a guiding of the nut within the carriage and provided, on one hand, with an elastically yieldable element compressible between the carriage and the screw so as to return the nut when the element is compressed, and, on the other hand, with a stud adapted to cooperate with ramps formed on a cam vertically movable in the case by the movement in translation of the nut and the stud controlling the cam ; c) the cam is provided with a shoe capable of bolting the carriage in the electrically locked position when it has been displaced to its upmost position by the stud sliding on the ramps, whereby any manual unlocking of the latch is prevented.
