Abstract: An exposure amount indicating arrangement for use with a photographic printing apparatus or the like, which includes an exposure amount setting section for setting values corresponding to desired printing exposure amount, an elapsed exposure amount output section for successively outputting values corresponding to elapsed exposure amount from starting of the printing, a calculating section for working out a ratio of the elapsed exposure amount to the set exposure amount, and an informing section for visually or acoustically indicating the ratio of the elapsed exposure amount to the set exposure amount, based on the value worked out by the calculating section.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simply discriminate that measurement has been carried out and to make it possible to simply confirm the set value and operation value among a plurality of displayed values, by starting the operation of a photometric means in accordance with a manual operation by a photometry start means. CONSTITUTION:A photometry start means CPU allows the operation of photometric means C1, C2 to start in accordance with the manual operation and a combination of a parameter to be preset and a parameter to be operated is selected by a selection means SW13. An operation means CPU performs predetermined operation from the set value corresponding to a preliminarily selected parameter and a photometric result to calculate the operation value in correspondence to a predetermined parameter and a display means LCD displays both of the set value and the operation value. At this time, the means LCD is controlled by a display control means CPU and a synchronizing driver DV1 so as to blank the display corresponding to the operated parameter for a moment before the operated value is displayed from the start of the operation of the means C1, C2. Therefore, the display in accordance with the operated parameter becomes blank for a moment in accordance with the operation of the means C1, C2.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To use a common display means to display digitally both set values of the exposure time and the photographic frame number by separating a set exposure time step group and a movie photographic frame number step group and connecting both step groups. CONSTITUTION:An exposure time setting circuit has normally opened switches SW2 and SW3 and resistances R2 and R3 connected to a prescribed power source VC and is connected to input terminals I2 and I3 of a microcomputer CPU through an AND circuit AN. The signal of an output terminal O3 of the microcomputer CPU is inputted to a display driver DV1, and the driver DV1 controls the display state of a liquid crystal device LCD. A time display control flag TCF indicating that time information to be displayed is the normal exposure time or the photographic frame number is stored in a memory CM1. That is, when the flag TCF stored in the memory CM1s is '0', TIME mark (a) indicating the display of the normal exposure time is displayed and CINE mark (b) indicating the display of the photographic frame number is erased. When the flag TCF is '1', TIME mark (a) is erased and CINE mark (b) is displayed.
