    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a light measuring and control data calculating device for use in a photographic enlarger. The device comprises first light detecting means for detecting the amount of light emitted from a light source, second light detecting means for detecting the emitted light amount at a position on the surface of an easel through the optical system and an original film in the enlarger, setting means for manually setting a preliminary desired amount of light to be emitted from the light source and calculation means for calculating an actually desired amount of flash light to be emitted from the light source for obtaining a desired total amount of the exposure light on the surface of the easel for making a suitable exposure on the printing paper to provide a best print.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a light intercepting optical system which can effectively lead the light, which is to be measured and uniformly contains light beams emitted from respective points in an area to be measured, to respective sensors of a sensor array so that the light to be measured is incident on a filter face vertically in a light intercepting optical system of a colorimeter using a spectral sensor consisting of a combination of a wavelength resolving filter and a sensor array and the like. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from an area to be measured passes an aperture 2, an objective lens 3, and an aperture 4 and extends radially in the rear side beyond an image forming position. A spectral sensor consisting of a wavelength resolving filter 5 and a sensor array 6 is arranged inside an area, in which light beams emitted from all the points in the area to be measured are contained necessarily, and uniformity of the incident light is maintained. Light beams from the area to be measured 1 are converged in the vertical direction to a row of the sensor array by a cylindrical lens 7, so that light intercepting effect is improved comparing with a conventional optical system. On the other hand, the light beams from the area to be measured 1 are converted into parallel light beams after passing through a cylindrical lens 8, so that the light beams are incident on the filter 5 vertically.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To know and control the quantity of the light to be emitted by the light source of an enlarger by which best prints are obtained even if the state of an optical system for enlarging changes, by providing a detecting circuit for quantity of emitted light and a detecting circuit for exposure and obtaining printing conditions for various optical states for enlarging in accordance with the ratios of the output data of these detecting circuits. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 45 for integration starts integration of the output current of a photodetector PD1 by the emission of a xenon tube. Since the emission of light is just started in this stage, the output terminals d1, d2, d3 of comparators 33, 34, 39 are all ''Low'' and the control input of a multiplexer 40 is ''Low''. Therefore, the data of unit quantity f1 of light emission from a shift circuit 30 is outputted. The signal obtd. by cnverting the data of f1 to an analog signal with a D-A converter 41 and the detection signal for quantity of light emission outputted form an integrating capacitor 45 are compared in a comparator 42, and when the level of the latter attains the level of the former, the output of the comparator 42 inverts to ''High'', and the signal thereof is fed through an AND circuit 54 and an OR circuit 55 to a well-known stopping circuit 48 for light emission, whereby the emission of light by the xenon lamp is stopped.
