    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the color filter which is low in production cost and has the excellent contrast of images and excellent surface smoothness and the process for production of this color filter. CONSTITUTION:An active layer 2 is obtd. by coating the surface of a transparent substrate 1 consisting of glass with a sol mixture composed of a baimite sol, bluecite sol and silica sol and calcining the soln. A grid-shaped resist layer is then provided on this active layer 2 and the active layer 2 is patterned by etching with the phosphoric acid. This resist layer is peeled by using acetone. A catalyst is imparted to the active layer 2 and the transparent substrate 1 is immersed into a nickel plating bath to form a black matrix part 3 over the entire surface of the active layer 2. The surface of the transparent substrate 1 is then coated by using ink of red, green and blue colors consisting of photosensitive resins colored by pigments and the coating is exposed via a photomask and is developed, by which colored layers 4 are so provided as to respectively fill the mesh parts of the grids where the active layer 2 is not formed. Finally, the surface is coated with a protective film material, by which a protective layer 5 is provided.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a color filter and the manufacture thereof whose manufacturing cost is low and which is excellent in the contrast of the picture image, and also excellent in the smoothness of its surface by coating and baking the sol obtained by hydrolyzing a specific organic compound. CONSTITUTION:An alkoxyl or alkoxyl organic compound expressed by an expression M (OR1)m(OR2)nXpYq is hydrolyzed into sol, and the sol is simply or mixedly coated on a transparent base plate 1 and baked for providing an activated layer 2 having fine pores. The activated layer 2 has lattice-shaped or net-shaped black matrix parts 3 obtained by filling the fine pores with a metallic colloid, and on the activated layer 2, a colored layer 4 consisting of a resin colored by a pigment or dye is adjacently provided so as to cover the lattice-shaped or net-shaped parts of the black matrix parts 3. If necessary, a protective layer 5 is provided on the colored layer 4. In the expression, M denotes an element selected from a group consisting of magnesium, calcium, or the like, R1 and R2 an alkyl group or an acyl group, X and Y a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, or a hydroxyl group.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent elution of a thermally transferrable dye from occurring even when a key cap is exposed to high temperature or a long period of time in the condition wherein a hand cream, a lotion or the like is adhered to the surface of the key cap, by a method wherein a key cap provided with a pattern such as a character and a symbol by a transfer thermal dyeing method is subjected to a dry heat treatment at a temperature at which dyeing can be performed. CONSTITUTION:When the key cap 1 provided with a pattern such as a character and a symbol by a transfer thermal dyeing method is subjected to a dry heat treatment at a temperature at which dyeing can be performed, the molecular motion in the resin at the surface of the base material of the key cap becomes vigorous, resulting in an enlargement of the spacing between molecules, and a molecules of a thermally transferable dye 2 deposited in a surface layer part 3 are diffused into an inner layer part 4. As a result, the dye concentration at the surface layer part 3 is lowered, while that at the inner layer part 4 is increased. and the difference in dye concentration between the two parts becomes comparatively small, resulting in uniformization.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the color filters having various excellent properties by forming an inorg. active film layer on a transparent substrate, subjecting this layer to dyeing of a 1st color, forming a resist only on the parts where the 1st color is made to remain, subjecting the layer to a decoloring treatment and further, subjecting the layer to dyeing of the 2nd and 3rd colors and stripping the resist. CONSTITUTION:The inorg. active film layer 2 is formed on the transparent substrate 1. The layer 2 is subjected to dyeing of the 1st color and the resist 3a is formed only in the parts where the 1st color is made to remain and the layer is subjected to the decoloring treatment. The inorg. active film layer 2 is then dyed with the 2nd color and the resist 3b is formed only in the parts where the 2nd color is made to remain. Said layer is subjected to the decoloring treatment. Further, the inorg. active film layer 2 is dyed with the 3rd layer and finally the resists 3a, 3b are stripped. This production process, therefore, necessitates just twice the patterning of the regists 3a, 3b at the time of forming the patterns of the three colors RGB of the color filters. The color filters having the high strength and smoothness is obtd. by the fewer stages in this way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow equalized pressing force to act while dispensing with the adjustment of a height position with respect to a surface to be printed having difference in level, by coupling a fixing metal fitting and a hot plate by coupling a means using a plunger' a cylinder and a spring. CONSTITUTION:Each transfer pad 4 presses the transfer sheet 3 closely brought into contact with each of the surfaces to be printed of indivisually separated key caps 1 each having difference in level. Each fixing metal fitting 6 is fixed to the back surface of each transfer pad 4 and a hot plate 5 moves up and down not only to press each transfer pad to the transfer sheet through the fixing metal fitting but also to generate heat. The coupling means 7 connecting each fixing metal fitting and the hot plate in a freely extensible and contractable manner is equipped with a plunger member 8 and a cylinder member 9 both of which assembled in an axial direction in a telescopic state in a mutually movable manner and an energizing means 10 such as a coil spring elastically energizing the coupling means 7 in the extending direction thereof is mounted between both members.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a coloring body excellent in dyeing capacity even in the presence of an org. solvent or under a high temp. atmosphere, by using a colorant wherein an inorg. value/org. value ratio is a specific one or more. CONSTITUTION:A colorant adsorbing active film layer 2 is formed on an inorg. or metallic base material 1 and a colorant 4 wherein the ratio of an inorg. value to an org. value is 0.8 or more is allowed to dye the pores 3 of the film layer 2. Further, an overcoat layer 5 composed of a material having no compatibility with the colorant 4 is formed on the film layer 2. The evaporation or sublimation temp. of the colorant 4 is 120-300 deg.C and the film layer 2 is composed of an active alumina layer. This active alumina layer is formed by applying a colloidal alumina aqueous dispersion having electric conductivity of 3.70mOMEGA cm or more and drying and baking the coating layer and the thickness of the formed film after baking is 1-5mum.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To disperse molecules of dye sufficiently and to improve reproducibility of dimension in a stage for migrating a dye contained in an ink layer in gaseous state into an activated film layer by heating and dyeing the activated layer by performing heating in the atmosphere under reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:An activated film layer comprising activated alumina and/or activated silica is formed on a transparent substrate; metal mask having a desired pattern hole formed thereon is mounted on the activated film layer. Further, a transfer sheet provided with an ink layer contg. a sublimable dye or/and a vaporizable dye by thermal fusion is mounted thereon. The transfer sheet is heated at a temp. where the dye migrates in vaporized state into fine pores in the activated film layer, and in the atmosphere under reduced pressure; thus, a fine pattern having sufficient dyeing concn. is obtd. Then, a hard and transparent resin is coated on the fine pores on the activated film layer. An overcoated layer is obtd. be heating.
