    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a face light source device simple constitution which does not have any brightness irregularity due to a density jump. CONSTITUTION:While a linear light source 2 is arranged on one of a couple of the opposite flanks of a rectangular transparent light guide plate 1, a flank reflecting layer 4 is arranged on the other, and a back reflecting layer 5 is arranged on the reverse surface of the light guide plate 1. On the reverse surface of the light guide plate 1, the area rate of a light diffuse transmission part 3 is increased in inverse proportion to the brightness with the distance from the linear light source 2 in an area from one flank of the light guide plate 1 to the place where the brightness of the linear light source 2 becomes minimum, and increased not in inverse proportion to the brightness from the place where the brightness of the linear light source 2 becomes minimum to the flank reflecting layer 4. A light diffusing layer 6 is arranged on the surface of the light guide plate 1 as necessary.

Thence, the edge light system plane emitter can be obtained by fitting the light source covering plate 3 in the side terminal part of a transference light conduction plate 1 so as to cover a light source 2 arranged at the side plane of the transference light conduction plate 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject sheet having excellent light-resistance and weather resistance by printing a sheet substrate with an ink composed of a specific pigment and a binder resin having ester bond group and forming a coating film having a specific thickness on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:The objective sheet having excellent long-term storage stability can be produced by printing a sheet substrate (preferably polyacrylate sheet, polyester sheet, etc.) with an ink containing (A) pigments consisting of (i) an azo pigment and/or an azo compound nickel complex pigment having N- substituted sulfamoyl group as a yellow ink pigment, (ii) a quinacridone pigment as a magenta ink pigment and (iii) a phthalocyanine pigment as a cyan ink pigment and (B) a binder resin having an ester bond group at a weight ratio (A:B) of 0.01-2.00. The thickness of the coating layer on the sheet is 0.01-30mum.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a uniform face light source which has small light loss on the whole and extremely high brightness by incorporating a hollow polymer in a light diffusion and transmission part formed on the reverse surface of a transparent photoelectric plate. CONSTITUTION:The 10wt.% acryl spherical hollow polymer of 0.1 - 20mum in diameter is added to transparent indium ink, dispersed, and printed by a screen printing method. Light reaching the light diffusion and transmission part 5 from a light source 1 is diffused here to travel to the top surface of a transparent light guide plate 2 and away from the light source 1 in many directions. A light scattering and reflecting plate 4 has white painted plate material arranged on the reverse surface of the light guide plate 2, so the light is not only diffused by the transmission part 5, but also transmitted. The passing light is reflected by a reflecting layer 4 to enter the transmission part 5 again. Consequently, reflection and scattering are caused on the reflecting plate 4 irrelevantly to the angle of incidence. Therefore, the light passes through the light diffusing and light scattering part three times in total, so the loss is small.

CONSTITUTION:On the reverse surface, the light absorption part 1d which decreases in area gradually as it goes away from the linear light source 2 is formed nearby the linear light source 2, and the striped mirror surface type reflection part 1b which decreases in area gradually as it goes away from the linear light source 2 is also formed. Further, a white scattering and reflection part 1c is formed as the scatter part in stripes where the mirror surface type reflection part 1b is not present so that its area increases gradually. Consequently, the uniform brightness is obtained.
