Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device and a printer head, with which picture quality can be prevented from deteriorating even under the condition that printing order changes in every scanning line. SOLUTION: A printer system consists of an image memory, a host computer 20 and a carrier jet printer 40. In the host computer 20, a printing order color correcting part 27 is realized. The printing order color correcting part 27 carries out a color correcting treatment through the selection suitable for the printing order in a scanning line at printing. The printing data, which are produced after the color correcting treatment, are transferred in synchronization with the actual printing action from the host computer 20 to the carrier jet printer 40. When the discharging order of the respective color inks composing of an image on a recording paper changes in every scanning line, the deterioration of picture quality is evaded even when a printing image changed in every scanning line.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, with which the ejection or ink liquid drop can be prevented from occurring outside a print region. SOLUTION: In a print driving circuit 20, a nozzle controlling part 22, in which a register 23 for setting the validity or invalidity of printing per one scanning of nozzles provided on a printer head by 1 or 0, is provided. When printing is performed by interleave action with a single recording head having three nozzles at intervals of four dots, since delovery controlling signal is turned OFF outside the print region ranging from a scanning line 1 a scanning line 6, an ejection side electrostrictive element 310 is not driven. At the same time, since modulation controlling signals is turned OFF, a print information limiting part 21 does not transmit a print information signal to a D/A converting part 6 and a quantitative side electrostrictive element 309 is not driven. Accordingly, the delivery of ink on recording paper outside a print region can be prevented from occurring.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain mutual interference in each color dot and the same color dots in a region to be excessive with a total amount of ink by forming a black color image element by outputting black color recording data equivalent to a lowest level, average level, or a level lower than this in a plurality of recording data. SOLUTION: A specific image element is displaced to black equivalent to the minimum value Lm (the lowest level of a composite black) among cyan, magenta, yellow, and the remaining of a cyan, magenta, yellow ingredient is forcibly displaced in a zero level (00), thereby discharging no ink of each color. Difference between the remaining ingredient of cyan, magenta, yellow and (00) is dispersed in circumferential image elements (A). A multigradation method is employed for this dispersion method. Another method is to be displaced to a mean value La of cyan, magenta, yellow (B). Also, it is displaced to the Ls value of a minimum value or lower among cyan, magenta, yellow. For this displacement rate, a numerical value is used which has a good quality of images and much rate of displacement (C).

SOLUTION: This printer device is composed of a printer head 1, a recording paper 2, a carriage unit 4, a head position detecting sensor 3 arranged near the carriage unit 4 and designed to detect the position of the carriage unit (printer head), an EEC 5, a guide fail 6, a group 8 of ink tanks for supplying an ink or a diluent through a supply pipe 7, and an ink residue detecting mechanism 9 for outputting a detecting signal in accordance with a residual ink quantity remaining in the ink tanks. In addition, a control means (CPU) controls the operation to detect a detecting signal only when the carriage unit 4 is located at a specified position, so that the residual ink quantity is stably detected.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct the positions of a print in an forward scanning and in a backward scanning. SOLUTION: A D/A conversion trigger signal and a discharge driving signal, both of which are sent from a timing controlling part 9, are supplied through a delay circuit 18 respectively to a D/A converting part 6 and to a print head discharging part 11. Further, from the signal of a head position detecting sensor 15, time differences Δtf and Δtb between the leading edge of the sensor output at forward scanning and its ideal timing position and between the trailing edge of the sensor output at backward scanning and its ideal timing position are measured. Moreover, from these time differences Δtf, the relative time lag Δtp between the forward scanning and backward scanning is calculated. Then, in the delay circuit 18, under the condition that the delay time in forward scanning is set to be 0 and that in backward scanning is set to be Δtp, the timings of the D/A conversion trigger signal and of the discharge driving signal at backward scanning are delayed by Δtp, resulting in solving the relative large between the printing positions at forward scanning and at backward scanning.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable in-dot density modulation without employing a D/A converter by a method wherein liquid is measured by modulating the number of pluses to be applied to a first piezoelectric element so as to modulate in-dot density in a printer device for mixingly discharging the measuring liquid and discharging liquid. SOLUTION: The measuring of ink in a printer device can be performed by modulating the number of pulses. Concretely, one pulse measures the minimum measuring amount of ink. By repeating the pulse several times, necessary density gradation is obtained. For example, the measuring of ink is performed in 256 times, the gray scale of 256 gradations in a dot can be obtained. Before the application of a discharging pulse, measuring pulse is applied several times to a second piezoelectric element 2. In order to modulate the number of pulses, a pulse generating device, in which the number of pulses can be varied, is used. By employing the modulating system of the number of pulses for in-dot density modulation, the desired density gradation is obtained without using a valuable D/A converter and, at the same time, a low cost printer device is obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a multi-head to be constituted by a simple structure by making positional precision between an electrostrictive vibrator and a cylindrical tube easy by a method wherein a plurality of cylindrical tubes are arranged at positions receiving pressure action of pressure generating parts formed by attaching an electrode to an electrostrictive vibrator or a magnetostrictive vibrator supported with a pedestal. CONSTITUTION:In order to assemble respective components, a number of glassy cylindrical tubes 5a composing a glass cylindrical tube line 5 are arranged in an adjacent state on a solid structured pedestal 10, and end faces on a front face side of respective cylindrical tubes 5a are so arranged as to be located on a same plane. An electrostrictive vibrator 2 is so arranged as to be put above the cylindrical tubes thus arranged uniform, and fixed lest an immoderate load should be applied. A gap among the vibrator 2, respective cylindrical tubes 5a composing the cylindrical tube line 5, and the pedestal 10 is filled by use of fillers being highly hard or the like around an ink chamber 7 so that the ink chamber 7 is hermetically sealed at that time. Since there is thus no necessity for strict registration of the electrostrictive or magnetostrictive vibrator to the cylindrical tube, assembling precision is not strictly requested and a manufacturing cost can be steeply reduced.

CONSTITUTION:There are provided a liquid chamber 2 filled with carrier liquid 7, ink jet drive means 3,4 provided in the chamber 2, a nozzle 14 communicating with the chamber 2, and a mixing section 14 for mixing ink 9 into carrier liquid 7 provided near the nozzle 14. And the ink 9 is mixed with the carrier liquid 7 of the chamber 2 at the section 14 and the mixed liquid is pressurized by the drive means 3,4 and delivered from the nozzle 14. Since the nozzle 14 is always filled with the carrier liquid 7, the nozzle 14 is not clogged.
