    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture recorder that records a moving picture desired by a user while automatically eliminating unnecessary moving pictures placed before and after the desirable moving picture displayed. SOLUTION: A recording and reproducing section 16 in a digital still camera 1 starts recording of moving picture data to a recording medium 20 in a lapse of a time T1 after an image pickup button is depressed under the control of a control section 18. When a photographer again depresses the image pickup button, the recording and reproducing section 16 immediately stops the recording and erases the moving picture data photographed in a prescribed period before the time when the recording stop image pickup button is depressed.

The member 3 is constituted of a hinge rotating member 5 pivotally supported at its perpendicularly bent parts of both ends on a pair of opposed hinge plates 4 provided on a hinge fixed plate 41 and rotated by 180 deg. around a 1st rotary shaft X, and a rotary shaft member 6 rotated by 270 deg. around a 2nd rotary shaft Y in a perpendicular direction to the 1st rotary shaft X, at the center part of the member 5. Then, the plate 41 is embedded in the upper edge part on the back side of the main body of the camera 1, and the monitor block 2 is fixed on the base plate 61 on the member 6.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an electronic view finder in which useless power consumption is prevented and a display screen is viewed in an excellent way even when much light is leaked from an eyepiece. CONSTITUTION:The user views a display screen of a liquid crystal display panel 2 arranged in a lens barrel via a lens 3. An infrared ray LED 7 emitting a pulse signal and a phototransistor(TR) 8 are arranged in an eye cup onto which an eye 5 of the user is in contact. A surrounding light detection circuit 6 generates a control section C2 representing whether or not an eye contact state is set based on an output signal of the TR 8 and a control signal C1 representing whether or not a surrounding luminous quantity is high. The luminance of a back light section 2b is controlled in a control circuit 10 based on the control signals C1, C2. When not in eye contact state, the display luminance is set to 0 and the display is reset. Furthermore, only when the surrounding luminous quantity is high, the display luminance is increased. Then waste of power consumption is prevented and even when much light is leaked from the eyepiece under a bright environment, the display screen is viewed in an excellent way.

CONSTITUTION:Acoustic waves received by microphones 10 and 20 are converted to audio signals and are inputted to delay circuits 50 and 60 through buffer amplifiers 30 and 40 and are inputted to adders 100 and 90 through attenuators 70 and 80. With respect to a stereo microphone 1, a level difference is generated between audio signals, which are gathered and outputted from the front and the rear of the microphone 10 or 20, in accordance with a distance lA in the case of the acoustic wave whose wavelength is shorter than the distance lA, and the stereo effect is obtained by this frequency characteristic. A feeling of stereo sounds is realized by the circuit constitution in the case of the acoustic wave having a low frequency.
