    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in volume of microcomputer software and in arithmetic processing time by obtaining an amount of integration of current using a simple calculation. SOLUTION: A battery pack 1 has a battery cell 20 that is charged and discharged, and a current detecting unit 80 for detecting and amplifying a charging current (i) [mA] with a given gain (G) [v/mA], and generating an output voltage (e) [V], and a microcomputer 10 for obtaining a digital value (x) by subjecting the voltage (e) [V] to an A/D conversion in a quantization step (q) [V/LSB] and calculating the remaining quantity (Y) [mAh] of the battery cell 20 for each given cycle time (t) [H; hour] using the digital value (x). In this case, the calculation is carried out in a formula; qt/G=2 , where n is an integer, g[V/mA] is a gain in the current detecting unit 80, q is the quantization step in an A/D conversion means, and t[h] is calculating cycle time in the arithmetic processing unit.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute noise elimination at an excellent characteristic by forming a logical filter to eliminate a chroma signal with use of one horizontal period delay line for dropout compensation, and eliminating the noise with the use of a filter output. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a switch 8 is supplied to an adder 26, a signal from a delay line 20 is supplied through a band pass filter 24, which extracts the neighboring component of a chroma signal, to the adder 26, and an addition signal from the adder 26 is supplied to a bypass filter 24. Consequently, by adding the signal obtained by delaying for one horizontal period and the original signal, the logical filter in a luminance signal transmission type is composed. For such a reason, a luminance signal component from which only a chroma signal component is eliminated, is taken out from the output of the adder 26. In the signal, the high frequency component of the luminance signal is preserved as well, and the noise can be excellently eliminated with the use of the signal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent reproduced picture by applying dropout compensation after time base correction, providing a prescribed phase inversion means so as to compensate a dropout of a color video signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a time base correction circuit 8 is fed to a dropout detection circuit 21 and a switch 7 is turned to other fixed contact side while the dropout is detected. Thus, the signal subjected to time base correction is demodulated and the signal is retarded by one horizontal period to make the phase of a chroma signal in the retarded signal sufficiently stable. Thus, a signal for dropout compensation is obtained by inverting the phase of a band of the chroma signal of the signal. Then replacement at dropout is applied by using the signal to apply excellent dropout compensation without causing disturbance in the color in a reproduced picture or the like.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify circuit constitution by allowing an averaging circuit for reproduction to function as a recording comb-shaped filter. CONSTITUTION:A switching circuit 30 is placed on the side of a recording side changeover terminal R at the time of recording. Then, a video signal to be recorded which is inputted to the device is applied to an adding circuit 21 and a one-horizontal-period delay circuit 20 constituting a separating and averaging circuit 31 and a subtracting circuit 5 through the switching circuit 30. Then, a luminance signal is extracted from the adding circuit 21 and a chroma signal is extracted by a subtracting circuit 5. Further, in case reproduction is performed, the switching circuit 30 is placed on a playback side. In this state, a video signal read out by a magnetic head 12 has its luminance signal demodulated by a luminance demodulating circuit 18 and the luminance signal from the luminance demodulating circuit 18 is inputted to the separating and averaging circuit 31 for brightness signal extraction through switching circuits 29 and 30. The separating and averaging circuit 31 functions as a comb- shaped filter for Y separation during recording and operates as the averaging circuit during reproduction.

In addition, respective CCDs are set up under the same temperature condition, so that respective luminance signals can be passed through signal courses having the same gain. Thereby, the luminance signals can be prevented from the generation of a level difference due to the gain difference of the signal courses. Consequently, the picture quality can be prevented from being deteriorated.
