    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast print system that receives a digital broadcast program, easily prints out an image of the digital broadcast program or the like on the basis of its digital signal and prints out the image of the received digital broadcast program when required. SOLUTION: A receiver 2 receiving image data of a digital broadcast program transfers the image data without modification to its digital data to a printer 4 and stores the data into a print RAM section 32 of the printer 4. In the case of printing out the image, a print image recording and reproducing section 33 records the image data stored in the print RAM 32 to a recording medium and an image print section 35 prints out the image of the image data. Or the print image recording and reproducing section 33 reproduces the image data from the recording medium and the image print section 35 prints out the image in accordance with the image data.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the state of a printer body at all times by arranging a controller for various operations of the printer body separately therefrom. SOLUTION: Control section of a remote controller (RCE) 20 generates an instruction signal corresponding to the operating state of a printer body and transmits it, as an infrared signal, to the printer body. On the other hand, control section of the printer body transmits a signal concerning to the operating state of a printer drive section to the REC 20 through an infrared transmitting/ receiving section. Consequently, control section 23 of the REC 20 makes a light emitting part corresponding to a display section 22 to emit light. Similarly, when the control section 23 of the REC 20 generates and transmits an instruction signal for starting print of the printer body, the control section of the printer body controls driving of the printer drive section to start printing. At the same time, a signal concerning to the operating state (under print) of the printer is transmitted to the REC 20 and, based on that signal, the control section of the REC 20 makes a light emitting means corresponding to 'under print' at the display section 22 to emit light.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make printing executable in high quality and rich gradation without making the structure of the apparatus intricate by a method wherein ink liquid film is formed on the front to which transparent solvent discharged from a discharge port is directed. CONSTITUTION:A liquid chamber 5 is filled, through a transparent solvent supply passage 6 provided to one end thereof, with transparent solvent composed of transparent liquid such as, for instance, water, alcohol, etc. A discharge port 8 for discharging the transparent solvent 7 is provided to the liquid chamber 5 on a position opposite to the transparent solvent supply passage 6. The transparent solvent 7 reaches the discharge port 8, forming so-called meniscus in semicircular shape by effect of surface tension. An electrostrictive element 4 is provided to a position approximately at the center over the liquid chamber 5. With pulsative voltage applied to its electrode, the element deforms toward the inside of the liquid chamber 5, and the transparent solvent 7 is pressurized instantaneously therewith.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To carry out the intermediate tone printing having the uniformity of image by a method wherein an ink ejection nozzle ejecting an ink and a transparent solvent ejection nozzle ejecting a transparent solvent are closely located and the ink and the transparent solvent are mixed outside of the nozzles. CONSTITUTION:On the starting of the printing, a pulse type do voltage is applied on opposing mesh electrodes provided on the each surface of an electric permeation membrane 16 of an ink reservoir section 5 to supply a specified amount of ink 4 from an ink supplying passage 7 to an ink ejection nozzle 13 of a mixture nozzle section 8 so that the ink is not ejected from an ink nozzle 15 to stay at an outlet with being a ball shape. Next, a specified voltage is applied on opposing electrodes 11a of an electrostrictive vibrator 11 to reduce a volume of an ink reservoir 3 by the distortion of the electrostrictive vibrator 11 so that a transparent solvent 2 is ejected from a transparent solvent nozzle 14. At that time, the ink ball is influenced by the movement of the transparent solvent 2 and they are unified with each other to form a mixture liquid which is ejected from a mixture nozzle section 8 and spouts. The pressure applied on the ink reservoir 3 is effectively transferred to the mixture nozzle section 8 without hindering a transparent solvent supply passage 6 by means of a one way valve 9 disposed therein.
