    Abstract: PURPOSE:To copy a lot of color original in a short time by forming an image on a transparent developing sheet with the aid of a micro-capsule sheet, forming an image on a prescribed developing sheet using the said sheet as an original plate, and printing this developing sheet. CONSTITUTION:The micro-capsule sheet 11 is irradiated with an image light corresponding to the image of an original to be copied from a cathod ray tube 13. After a latent image is formed on the surface of the said sheet, the irradiated part of the micro-capsule sheet 11 is carried to pressing rollers 15a and 15b. At this time, the transparent developing sheet 14 is carried to pressing rollers 15a and 15, and press-contacted with the micro-capsule sheet 11. As a result, the latent image formed on the micro-capsule sheet 11 is transferred onto the developing sheet 14 and a color image which is the same as the original is reproduced on the transparent developing sheet 14. Images are continuously copied on developing sheets 24 by using the developing sheet 14 as the original plate. Thus, a large number of color originals can be copied in a short time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute an exposure which is utilized to the maximum a dynamic range of a photosensitive material by executing an exposure by a prescribed luminance from a prescribed number of horizontal scanning lines, and also, varying the luminance in accordance with a gradation of an image for executing an exposure from the remaining horizontal scanning lines and executing the exposure. CONSTITUTION:An exposure from a cathode-ray tube 27 is executed by being divided into a base exposure by a prescribed luminance and an exposure of an image light by a luminance corresponding to a gradation of an image by a time division. Accordingly, by a simple constitution in which only the cathode- ray tube 27 is a light source for the exposure, the bias exposure and the exposure of an image light are executed, and a light source for the bias exposure of a lamp, etc., becomes unnecessary. Therefore, a microcapsule sheet 1 which is exposed by this exposing device is brought to bias exposure and a variation of coloring density is executed in a wide dynamic range, a coloring characteristics which the microcapsule sheet 1 has is utilized to the maximum, and a color image can be printed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To constitute a small-sized developing device with a low cost and to quickly perform development with a low power consumption by performing development while moving a roll as the pressurizing means, which presses a photosensitive material and a developing material to each other, to scan the photosensitive material and the developing material. CONSTITUTION:The pressurizing means which presses the photosensitive material and the developing material to each other consists of a stage 7, on which the photosensitive material and the developing material are placed, and a roll 51 which is rotated and moved in the direction crossing the feeding direction of the photosensitive material and the developing material while being pressed to the stage 7 and is freely rotatably supported on an endless driving body 39. Consequently, the roll 51 as the pressurizing means which presses the photosensitive material and the developing material to each other is moved to scan the photosensitive material and the developing material, thus performing development. Thus, a developing device is made small-sized and light-weight and has a low-cost structure, and the development efficiency is improved, and the power consumption is reduced.

According to the level of the video signal, the light emitting time of the cathode ray tube 16 is controlled, and the area of the photosensitive material 1 on which light is projected varies in accordance with the level. Ultmately, excellent exposure is performed to correspond with the gradation of videos projected on the photosensitive material 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To expose the image of specified gradation with a simple constitution by executing multiple exposure to a photosensitive material from the plural horizontal scanning lines of a cathode ray tube according to the gradation of the image and also altering the luminance of the light emission of the respective horizontal scanning lines. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with an analog/digital (A/D) converter 12 which is a means for detecting the gradation of an image which is exposed, the cathode ray tube 23 to which an output signal from the A/D converter 12 is supplied so that plural horizontal scanning lines whose luminances are different respectively are formed with the light emission and a traveling means 25 for traveling the photosensitive material 1 in a vertical scanning direction on a position facing the display surface of the cathode ray tube 23. A specified one or plural horizontal scanning lines in accordance with the gradation detected by the A/D converter 12 are made to emit light in interlocking with the traveling of the photosensitive material 1 by the traveling means 25. Thus, the image of the specified gradation which exceeds the number of the horizontal scanning lines can be exposed with a simple constitution by an on and off control without altering the luminance of the radiated light in the respective horizontal scanning lines.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the extruding pressure by extruding a photosensitive sheet and a developing sheet, lying a solvent between the microcapsule layer of the photosensitive sheet partially cured by selectively exposing with a specified light and the developing substance layer of the developing sheet facing with said microcapsule layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive sheet 2 is exposed so as to selectively cure the inner parts of the microcapsules (a), (b) and (c) before developing said sheet. The photosensitive sheet 2 and the developing sheet 20 are arranged so as to face the microcapsule layer 2a and the developing substance layer 20a with each other, and then, the solvent such as silicone oil 14 is injected between the layers 2a and 20a facing with each other, by a nozzle 16 so as to extend to the whole of said layers. And, the sheet 2 and 20 overlapping with each other are supplied between pair of pressured rollers 15. Thus, the developing sheet 20 is suitably developed, thereby making the whole developing device compact and light in weight.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a proper exposure result by providing two cathode-ray tubes which have screen panel parts. CONSTITUTION:A control part 10 displays an image based upon a red primary color signal component SR on the screen panel part 12 of a cathode-ray tube 8. On the other hand, an image based upon a blue primary color signal components SR is displayed on a screen panel part 14 by a video signal switching part 7 with a control signal CS2, a filter element 18 is put opposite the panel part for a specific period by a filter switching part 11 under the control of the signal CS2, and then a filter element 19 is put opposite an image based upon a green primary color signal component SG. Then exposure using the image light of the panel 12 by the component SR is performed so as to set capsules selectively, and exposure using image light which is emitted by the image based upon the component SB and image light passage through the element 19 by the component SG is performed for the panel part 14 simultaneously so while their exposure times are controlled independently. Consequently, a proper exposure result is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve miniaturization and lightening of a whole optical printer, by a method wherein a microcapsules which are not hardened in sensitive materials are destroyed at a developing part, and a duplicate image based on built-in coloring matter is formed. CONSTITUTION:A sensitized sheet 2 undergoes shock scanning with a wire dot impact part 18 following reciprocating transfer along a fixed guide member 20 of a dot impact head 16. Microcapsules of which built-in photosensitive agent is not hardened among those a-c on the sensitized sheet 2 are destroyed thereby. Each color leuco material built in destroyed microcapsules a-c is certainly operated by a developed substance layer installed to a developing sheet 30, colored correspondingly to each color leuco material, and a color image is obtained on the developing sheet 30. Thereby, the miniaturization and lightening of the all optical printing machine can be effectively achieved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To copy images efficiently and speedily through simple plate-making and exposure processes, by selectively hardening photosensitive agents of microcapsules by irradiating with specified rays through a printing plate provided with light-abosrbing agents. CONSTITUTION:A printing plate 24 is provided with light-absorbing agents for inhibiting or suppressing the transmission of specified rays for selectively hardening photosensitive agents. A photosensitive material 2 is irradiated with specified rays through the printing plate, whereby selective exposure is performed. Then, those microcapsules which have the photosensitive agent left unhardened are crushed, and a copied image based on coloring matters incorporated in the crushed microcapsules is formed. Thus, the photosensitive material is exposed to rays according to the image to be copied, and the copied image can be obtained efficiently and speedily with a comparatively simple construction.
