Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a thermosensible type printer which is capable of high precision recording and can output beautiful gradation easily. CONSTITUTION: A recording head 1 is composed of a semiconductor laser element 2 and a lens 3. A thermosensible paper sheet 8 and a photo-thermal conversion film 7, which is located outside, are wound up onto a cylindrical drum 6 to be fixed. The recording head 1 is fixed to a lead screw 4, which is fixed in parallel with the rotation center shaft of the drum 6. Laser beams 11 emitted from a semiconductor laser element are incident on the photo-thermal conversion film to be converted into heat so that the thermosensible paper sheet 8 is colored for recording. Two-dimentional recording on the thermosensible paper sheet 8 is made possible making the direction indicated by an arrow 12 the main scanning direction while the direction indicated by an arrow 13 the subordinate scanning direction.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a good quality image with high resolution and comparatively simple constitution, by heating selectively each of plural heating resistors in accordance with an image signal, and controlling the arrival state of an ultraviolet ray while displacing selectively a movable part of plural thermal deforming members. CONSTITUTION:A supporting plate member 35 is moved by a feed screw mechanism 36, and a prescribed position of a sensitized paper 32 which has been supported by the supporting plate member 35 is opposed to a slit window part 20a provided on an ultraviolet ray cut-off member 20. An ultraviolet light source 34 is lighted, and an exposure is executed through the slit window part 20a by an ultraviolet ray from the ultraviolet light source 34 to the sensitized paper 32 which has been supported by the supporting plate member 35. On the sensitized paper 32, an exposure pattern containing a non-exposure part corresponding to a position of a thermal deforming member 11 which has been selected in accordance with an image signal Sv is formed, and an image of one scanning line portion based on the image signal Sv is transferred. In such way, an image with high resolution and good quality can be obtained on a photosensitive member.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a proper exposure result by providing two cathode-ray tubes which have screen panel parts. CONSTITUTION:A control part 10 displays an image based upon a red primary color signal component SR on the screen panel part 12 of a cathode-ray tube 8. On the other hand, an image based upon a blue primary color signal components SR is displayed on a screen panel part 14 by a video signal switching part 7 with a control signal CS2, a filter element 18 is put opposite the panel part for a specific period by a filter switching part 11 under the control of the signal CS2, and then a filter element 19 is put opposite an image based upon a green primary color signal component SG. Then exposure using the image light of the panel 12 by the component SR is performed so as to set capsules selectively, and exposure using image light which is emitted by the image based upon the component SB and image light passage through the element 19 by the component SG is performed for the panel part 14 simultaneously so while their exposure times are controlled independently. Consequently, a proper exposure result is obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To copy images efficiently and speedily through simple plate-making and exposure processes, by selectively hardening photosensitive agents of microcapsules by irradiating with specified rays through a printing plate provided with light-abosrbing agents. CONSTITUTION:A printing plate 24 is provided with light-absorbing agents for inhibiting or suppressing the transmission of specified rays for selectively hardening photosensitive agents. A photosensitive material 2 is irradiated with specified rays through the printing plate, whereby selective exposure is performed. Then, those microcapsules which have the photosensitive agent left unhardened are crushed, and a copied image based on coloring matters incorporated in the crushed microcapsules is formed. Thus, the photosensitive material is exposed to rays according to the image to be copied, and the copied image can be obtained efficiently and speedily with a comparatively simple construction.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the discoloration and fading of an image formed on photographic print matter. CONSTITUTION:The image protecting film arranged on photographic print matter having an image formed thereon is 5% or less in the transmissivity of light having a wavelength within an ultraviolet region of 390nm or less and has light permeability within a visible region. The image protecting film 3 is arranged on the photographic print matter 2 having an image formed thereon to protect the image. The image protecting film may be arranged on the photographic print matter in a state independent of and separable from the photographic print matter and replaced with a new image protecting film when the ultraviolet absorbing capacity thereof is deteriorated. Otherwise, the image protecting film may be arranged so as to be laminated to the image.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a color image by one exposure process by using a photosensitive material equipped with many microcapsules containing light sensitizers which sense light in a 1st - a 3rd wavelength ranges to cure and corresponding coloring materials, and a beam index type color cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:The sheet type photosensitive material 30 has a surface formed by mixing dispersedly three kinds of many microcapsules (a)-(c) a 1st - a 3rd light sensitizers which are exposed to light in the 1st - the 3rd wavelength ranges to cure and a 1st - a 3rd coloring materials. An image displayed on an index tube 8 which displays the light in the 1st - the 3rd wavelength ranges is used as an exposure light source for the photosensitive material 30, and the exposure process wherein the light in the 1st - the 3rd wavelength ranges is projected to cure the 1st - the 3rd light sensitizers in the three kinds of microcapsules selectively is performed once. The index tube 8 which is high in the utilization rate of an electron beam for fluorescent material excitation is used. Consequently, sufficient exposure intensity is obtained.
