When broadcast is received, output Q51 of FF51 becomes 1; and when broadcast cannot be received, output Q37 of detection circuit 37 becomes 0, and output Q51 becomes 0 also by next pulse Q32, and meanwhile, counter 31 is switched to a down-count mode. When the count value of counter 31 is reduced by 1 and the receiving frequency becomes the frequency for receiving again, output Q37 becomes 1, and output Q53 becomes 1 by the next pulse Q32, and FF circuit 36 is reset to complete tuning.

When memory 34 becomes a write mode, value n of counter 29 at this time is written in memory 33, and value n for broadcast of the maximum receiving level is written in memory 33. Then, the output of timer circuit 23 is obtained at every fixed time, and another station is received in case that the level of this station is higher than the receiving level of the current receiving station by movement of a vehicle, etc.

In addition, this is provided with the method (composed of switches 94 and 95, resistors 96 and 97, power supply +B, etc.) which cuts off the feedback path of synthesizer 20 at the channel selection time and then supplies a constant voltage to the 2nd variable oscillation frequency element of oscillator 8, frequency counters 44 to 46 which are supplied with signals of a frequency relating to the oscillation frequency of oscillator 8, and latch circuits 50 to 52 which set the dividing ratio of divider 10 of synthesizer 20 corresponding to the frequency read by counters 44 to 46.
