    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-assisted bicycle having both excellent convenience and an anti-theft property.
    SOLUTION: When a key switch 32 is turned off, options of waiting modes are displayed on a display unit 41, and if a normal waiting mode (sleep mode) is selected or a predetermined time is elapsed without any mode selection, the mode is transferred to a normal waiting mode. If an anti-theft mode is selected, the mode is transferred to the preset anti-theft mode. Vibration is detected by a vibration sensor 313 and the on-operation of the key switch 32 by a power supply key is monitored. If vibration is detected, a predetermined anti-theft action is taken. For example, various kinds of lamps mounted to a bicycle are flashed simultaneously, and a warning sound is outputted from a warning buzzer. In addition, brake torque is generated by using an assisting motor to prevent self-propelled traveling. Thereafter, if the on-operation of the key switch 32 is detected, the anti-theft waiting mode is released, returning to a drive state.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-density recording in recording scanning for a recording medium in which circulating tracks having data area on the land and the groove are formed in a double spiral shape by switching alternately tracking control to the centers of the land and the groove for each circulating track. SOLUTION: For a recording medium which uses both the groove GB and land LD formed in a double spiral shape as data recording tracks, recording scanning SSR is performed by the scan which advances the track pitch one by one in the radial direction. The recording scan shown by a broken line SSR is advanced by two track pitches in the radial direction at each circulation since the laser spot LSP proceeds through each center of the groove track which uses the groove GB and the land track which uses the land LD. Hence, the recording scan SSR is set to return by one track pitch at the time when one circular scan is finished. By this, a large-capacity recording is constituted.

SOLUTION: Leg pieces 27 provided on the back surface of the bottom plate of a flexible printed wire board 1 are fitted into leg piece fitting part 32 provided in a chassis 31 to fix the holder 4 to the chassis 31. One end side of the board body part 2 led out upward from a second recess is bent into a U- shape, and the contact point 7 of the tip end is connected to a carrier side connector. Also, the contact point 8 in the other end side of the body part 2 led out up ward from a third recess is connected to the chassis side connector 33. When the carrier transfers, the position of the vertex 34 of the U-shaped bending part of the body 2 smoothly makes the carrier transfer without disturbing the transfer of the carrier. By this way, this fixing structure is widely utilized as the flexible printed wire board connecting the fixed part and movable part.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a demodulating process with a simple constitution that has one PLL(phase-locked loop) circuit. SOLUTION: Frequency modulation is imposed on address information ADM after biphase modulation, and the signal after this modulation is recorded as a groove wobble. A wobble signal SWB as a reproduction signal of this groove wobble is converted by a comparator 63 into a pulse signal PWB. The wobble signal SWB has four waves at the time of '1' and three waves at the time of '0' corresponding to one bit (biphase bit) of the address information ADM. A clock signal CK24 which has a frequency 24 times as high as a biphase bit frequency and is synchronized with the pulse signal PWB is obtained from a voltage-controlled oscillator which constitutes the PLL circuit. A processing circuit 67 outputs '0' when detecting an 8T pattern (T: cycle of CK24 ) successively three times from the pulse signal PWB and '1' when detecting a 6T pattern successively four timers from the pulse signal PWB to obtain the address signal ADM.

SOLUTION: When a magneto-optical disk 5 is supplied to this disk recorder 1 composed of an optical pickup 2, the temperature sensor 3 and an output power adjustment circuit 4, the output power adjustment circuit 4 selects an initial setting signal S2 in a level switching part 6 by a disk-in signal S1 and controls a laser diode 13 so as to turn the laser beam LA12 for irradiating the magneto-optical disk to power corresponding to the initial setting signal S2. Then, after the prescribed time when the temperature of the magneto-optical disk 5 and the disk recorder 1 almost match, the temperature sensor 3 is selected in the level switching part 6. Thus, the disk recorder 1 capable of improving the reliability when recording the data in the magneto-optical disk 5 is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the satisfactory use of a disk even under an inferior environment by incorporating a rotary support member for disk in the main body of a hermetic cartridge together with an image forming means which forms an image on the surface of a recording medium of the disk with light radiated from a light source. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge main body 2 stores a disk 3 hermetically in the outside air and in a record/reproduction enable way. A shaft 4 serves as a rotary support member which supports rotatably the disk 3 on the main body 2. An image forming means, i.e., an objective lens 12 is added to form an image on the surface of a recording medium of the disk 3 with light radiated from a light source together with an actuator 13. In such constitution, the signals can be recorded and reproduced in a state where the disk 3 is surely protected from the outside air. Thus the disk 3 can be used satisfactorily even under an inferior environment.
