Abstract: PURPOSE:To stereographically display a color image by using a means which alternately extracts the color image signal with right and left parallax information and a horizontal deflection circuit which operates with a period 2 times that of the horizontal synchronous signal which is obtained from the color image signal. CONSTITUTION:Right and left eye color signals Sl and Sr with parallax information are selectively supplied to a cathode-ray tube through memory. The right and left image signals Sl and Sr are supplied to the fixed contacts 14a and 14b of a changeover switch 14 and the fixed contacts 15b and 15a of a changeover switch 15. The horizontal synchronous signal PH which is obtained from a horizontal synchronous signal separation circuit 16 is supplied to one input terminal of a phase comparator 17. The output signal from this phase comparator 17 is supplied as the control voltage of a clock generator 18 through a low pass filter 21. Further, the color image signal by which the right and left image signals Sl and Sr are switched alternately within the effective horizontal section and which generates N/2 right and left image picture elements, can be obtaind in the movable contact 14a of the changeover switch 14.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To stereographically display a color image by making primary color signals obtained from a number of color image signals to consist of a means which extracts the primary colors with the signal at a preset cycle and supplies them to a number of electron guns and a means which supplies control signals to a color changeover means. CONSTITUTION:In a left gate circuit 15l, primary colors signals lER-lEB which are supplied from a left signal processing circuit 14 are sequentially taken out and the obtained signals are supplied to the electron gun of a cathode-ray tube 9 through a left drive circuit 18l. On the other hand, in a right gate circuit 15r, the primary colors signals are supplied to the other electron gun of the cathode-ray tube 9 through a right drive circuit 18r in the same way as the left processing. Besides, the three-phase gate signals GR-GB which are transmitted from a gate pulse generator 17 are supplied to a color changeover voltage generator circuit 19 as control signals and the preset voltages (E0-e0) and (E0+e0) are applied to the first and second color changeover voltage supply terminals 8a and 8b. Thus, a color image can be sensed stereographically.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To view a three-dimensional image without using spectacles by generating a left-eye color image and a right-eye color image in the order of lines. CONSTITUTION:A stereoscopic video signal reproduced by a VTR9 in the order of lines is supplied to a signal processing circuit 20 via a gate circuit 19. On the other hand, a synchronizing signal is supplied from a synchronous separating circuit 21 to a timing pulse generating circuit 30 to generate line pulses LPl and blanking pulses BLP. The pulses LPl are inverted by an inverter 31 and reduced to line pulses LPr. Further, the clock pulses CPl are inverted to obtain clock pulses CPr. Those pulses are supplied to OR gates 33r and 33l and AND gates 34r and 34l, and an OR gate 35 supplies the circuit 19 with gate pulses Gr and Gl which correspond to a right-eye color video signal and a left-eye video signal. The circuit 19, when the pulses Gr and Gl are in the high level period, turns on to pass the color video signals.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower the electricity consumption of a color picture receiving apparatus without deteriorating its picture quality, by forming its picture tube with an integrally united body of a neck portion having a circular cross-section and a funnel portion whose cross-section changes from a circle to a laterally long ellipse gradually. CONSTITUTION:A funnel portion 10, to be sealed to a neck portion 9 having a circular cross-section, is formed into configurations surrounded by an elliptical curve 5 which is in turn formed of three arcs, namely, the first arc having a radius R1 and its center at a point P on the (y) axis, the second arc having a radius R3 and its center at a point S on the (x) axis, and the third arc having a radius R2 and its center at a point Q. A glass tube body is formed by making the increment rate of its vertical length-to-horizontal length ratio large at the small diameter side thereof but small at the large diameter side thereof. In this constitution, the space distance in the (y) axis direction can be made short. Accordingly, compared with a picture tube whose funnel portion has a circular cross-section, the electricity consumption can be considerably cut down. In addition, owing to the circular cross-section of the neck portion, the picture quality is prevented from deterioration.

Thus, the index signal corrected, which is obtained from the division circuit 22, has almost a constant level because of removal of the effect by the density modulation signal, and correct index information can be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:A singls-beam type electron gun is constituted by cathode K, an electrode from first grid G1 to fifth grid G5, lenses 1 and 2, etc., and high- voltage anode voltage VA is applied to grids G3 and G5, and focus voltage VF sufficiently lower than VA is applied to G4. Thus, decelerating preceding-stage electron lens 1 is constituted by grids G3 and G4 and accelerating succeeding-stage lens 2 is constituted by grids G4 and G5, and at this time, diameter D1 of each opposite end part of gride G3 and G4 is difined as smaller than diameter D2 of each opposite end part of G4 and G5. That is, when D1/D2 is denoted as K, K D1 and are l2 > D2 are defined. Then, the length or grid G4 is denoted as l, and relation l>(D1+D2) is given, thereby improving astigmatism.

CONSTITUTION:The frame is composed of supporter 5ab stretching up grid element 3 and supporter 6ab which is installed flexibly between 5ab and 3. Supporter 6ab is made of the belt-type carbon steel having long side (a) and short side (b) and bent along side (a) into a U-shape. Middle part 8ab of the U-shape is bent to obtain the maximum cross-section coefficient between the effective axis line M direction of the bending moment and supporter 6ab as well as cross angle theta=0 for axis line Z to which axis line A crosses vertically. At the same time, arm 9aa' features an extremely reduced occurrence of the twisting moment along supporter 5ab, and is welded at tip part 10. In such structure, the device can be formed through pressing from the flat steel, realizing the lower cost than the production of the tube body.
