    Abstract: Un quemador mejorado para generadores de gas de procesos deoxidación parcial que tiene pasajes anulares formados entre conductos coaxialmente alineados que se extienden desde fuentes superiores, o de corriente arriba, hasta una zona de reacción inferior, o de corriente abajo.Una camisa exterior de enfriamento, presenta internamente una deflexión para obtener un óptimo flujo de enfriamento, y tiene un tamaño que define una mínima área inferior o de corriente abajo, rodeando dicha camisa un conducto de alimentación, de oxidación de combustible, que esta retirado hacia adentro y que termina en una boquilla. El conducto de suministro central no esta unido a la camisa enfriadora y el espacio anular entre los mismos esta conectado a una fuente de alta presión de gas relativamente inerte que puede ser soplado periódicamente a través del espacio anular para evitar la formación de escorias sobre la boquilla o la camisa enfriadora.

    Abstract: The high intracellular water content contained within the cell walls of the bacterial cells of a dewatered biosludge is reduced by removing the intracellular water in a denaturing operation. This operation comprises heating the biosludge at a temperature sufficient to weaken the bacterial cell walls. The weakened cell walls are then exposed to a reduced pressure sufficient to form vapor within the cell and to thus rupture the weakened cell walls and thereby release the intracellular water in the form of a hot aqueous vapor and/or released intracellular water. The water-reduced concentrated biosludge can then serve as a fuel source in a partial oxidation reaction for the production of synthesis gas.
