Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRP roof structure which is light-weight, handleable, easy to execute, short in the construction period, easy to construct a large-sized roof, and long in durability. SOLUTION: This roof structure is provided with FRP layers counterposed with a distance and ribs integrally connected to both FRP layers. The bending rigidity per unit width (1 mm) is not less than 5×107 kg.mm2. It is preferable that the FRP roof structure can be longitudinally stretched at a substantially constant width, and the bending rigidity per the longitudinal unit width (1 mm) is not less than 5×107 kg.mm2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, inexpensively, integrally connect ends of a sandwich structure without using a clamping member or the like by providing an FP coupling layer extended to overall surfaces of both the ends, and providing layers each containing a resin diffused medium between butted end faces. SOLUTION: An FRP coupling layer 6 extended to overall surfaces of one end 5 to the other end 5 is provided on surfaces of both the butted ends 5 of adjacent sandwiched panels 2, and an FRP coupling layer 6 is integrally connected to FRP skin plates 4 of the panels 2. A layer 8 containing a resin diffused medium is provided between butted end faces 7 of the adjacent panels 2 to integrally connect the butted faces 7 with cast curd resin. The medium contained in the layer 8 is constituted as the resin diffused medium made of a net-like material as the state before casting the resin.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reflection mirror made of fiber reinforced plastic having a reflectivity of high accuracy by successively laminating a metallic plate and a sheet material consisting of a resin via adhesives on at least one surface of a base material made of the fiber reinforced plastic. SOLUTION: This reflection mirror is constituted by successively laminating the metallic plate and the sheet material consisting of the resin via the adhesives on at least one surface of the base material 1 made of the fiber reinforced plastic. In such a case, the reflection surface layer 2 consists of metals, such as aluminum, chromium, nickel and silver, having the high reflectivity. More particularly the aluminum having the highest reflectivity is preferable. Such metals are generally deposited by evaporation on the sheet consisting of the resin. A foam, such as methacrylimide foam, may be arranged in the central part of the laminated layers. While the metallic plate is used to conceal the surface roughness of the fiber reinforced plastic layer, lightweight aluminum is preferable as the metal kind to be used and iron and stainless steel or the like are equally well.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a light wt. rotor for a centrifuge having high strength and capable of rotating at a higher speed, by using a rotor constituted by connecting a metal reinforcing plate to the upper surface of a pseudo-isotropic solid body comprising a fiber reinforced resin or a fiber reinforced metal. CONSTITUTION:A dish shaped metal reinforcing plate 5 comprising a light alloy such as a titanium alloy is bonded to the upper surface of a solid main body comprising a fiber reinforced resin such as an epoxy resin reinforced by a carbon or glass fiber or a fiber reinforced metal using a light metal such as aluminum as a matrix by together using an adhesive 3 and a bolt 4 to constitute a rotor. Further, unidirectional base materials wherein reinforcing fibers are arranged in parallel to one direction are laminated to the main body so that the adjacent ones cross to each other in a rotary axis direction at an angle of 15-60 deg. to make the rotor pseudo-isotropic to increase the strength thereof. By connecting the reinforcing plate, considerable strength can be held even if the wall thickness between cell insert holes 6 is small and not only the diameter of the rotor can be reduced but also the formation of a female screw 7 for a cap becomes easy.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively manufacture a large size cylindrical body made of an FRP and having a specific outer diameter by constituting the body of members obtained by dividing a cylindrical part of the body into specified number in a circumferential direction. SOLUTION: The cylindrical body 2 made of an FRP has, for example, an outer diameter of 3 m or more, and is constituted as a connector or members 3 obtained by dividing the body 2 into two or more (four in this case) in its circumferential direction. Each of the members 3 is formed as a circular arc-like member. The adjacent members 3 are integrally connected with connecting members interposed therebetween. Opposed end faces of the adjust members 3 are formed each in a protrusion and recess step part 5, and both the ends of the members 4 are also formed each in a protrusion and recess step part 6. The part 5 of the member 3 side is engaged with the part 6 of the member 4 side. After the member 4 is connected, they are fixed with an adhesive or the like, and the members 3, 4 and 3 are circumferentially continuously and integrally connected.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the durability of a pallet and improve the handling property by lightening it, by constituting the upper member with the upper face part loading products and constituting the lower member with the bottom face and connecting both members to each other and further forming openings at the side faces. SOLUTION: The upper member 2 and the lower member 3 are joined just like the upper case and the lower case of a lunch box, in a FRP pallet 1. The upper member 2 has a form corresponding to the upper side of a lunch box and also the lower member 3 has a form corresponding to the lower side thereof. The lower member is provided with a plurality of protruded structures 8 to support the upper member 2 and increase the rigidity and withstand a large loading weight. The rear face of the upper member 2 and the upper face of the protruded structures 8 provided in the lower member 3 are integrally joined with an adhesive or a FRP layer. And further, two openings 10 for handlift wheels are made at the bottom face 11 of the lower member 3. And openings 9 for inserting fork lift prongs are provided at the side faces of the upper and lower members 2, 3.
