    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a propeller shaft made by fiber reinforced resin, light in weight with a big adhesive strength made between a cylindrical pipe and a yoke, further with its degree scarcely lowering down. CONSTITUTION:After polishing and degreasing the peripheral surfaces of a yoke 2, 3, with a bonding agent 17 thinly applied, a resin impregnated glass cloth tape is wound on the bonding agent 7, being thermohardened as necessary, and constructing an electric insulating material 6. Two O-rings 9, 10 are installed onto peripheral surfaces of said electric insulating material 6, and the yoke 2, 3 is mated into an end of fiber reinforced resin cylindrical pipe 1. Under the above condition, a bonding agent 8 will be press filled from an injection hole 12. Subsequently, a sealing 11 is filled into an air space surrounded by inner circumferential surfaces of the cylindrical pipe 1, peripheral surfaces of the electric insulating material 6 and the O-ring 9.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRP long molded object having no slitting and no spiny fine split at the ends thereof by stabilizing the width dimension of an extremely thin molded product, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same relatively simply. SOLUTION: The FRP long molded object comprises a fiber reinforced composite material, and reinforcing fibers different from the main reinforcing fibers are arranged to both side ends of the main reinforcing fibers of the molded object. The reinforcing fibers different from the main reinforcing fibers are arranged to both side ends of the continuously supplied main reinforcing fibers, and two kinds of these reinforcing fibers are impregnated with a thermosetting resin and cured or semicured in a mold under heating to mold the long molded object. After the long molded object is post-cured in a heating furnace, surface treatment is applied to at least the single side surface of the long molded object to manufacture the FRP long molded object.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the disorder of arrangement of reinforcing fibers to obtain superior mechanical properties with reduced variations of properties between products by arranging a one-way fabric at a lateral end portion of a laminated body of base materials in a direction that a wrap of said fabric is directed to a drawing direction, to cover a lateral edge of said end portion and bonding said fabric with said base materials. CONSTITUTION:Laminated bodies 2, 2 of a base material of carbon fibers which has a one-way fabric bonded at a lateral end portion thereof are drawn out of creels 1, 1, dipped in resin baths 3, 3 to be impregnated with the resin. Thereafter, the bodies are formed into one unit through a doubling calender 11 comprised of guide rolls 4, 4 which is further sent to shaping guides 5, 6 so that the cross section thereof is gradually formed into U-shape. Then, the resin of the body is pressured and impregnated at a manifold 7, and the unit of drawn through a heating die 8 for molding. The laminated bodies 2, 2 of carbon fiber fabric are bonded at their lateral end portions with one-way fabrics 13, 13 having carbon fibers as warps and glass fibers as woofs, in such a manner that the warps are arranged in the drawing direction, to cover the lateral edges.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an FRP material having a low facility cost without impairing mechanical characteristics of a molding without dust and noise by forming a folding pattern at least on one side surface of the molding made of a fiber-reinforced composite material. SOLUTION: The FRP material 1 is a lengthy solid flat plate strip-like molding in an entirety, and is used mainly as a reinforcing material of a concrete structure. Here, the material 1 is formed with an interstice pattern made of a layer of a thermosetting resin cured material on a surface of a molding 3 of the FRP material made of reinforcing fibers 3a and a resin cured material 3b. The interstice pattern is formed on a surface of a resin or the like when a woven fabric is press bonded to a resin or the-like having flowability as a casting mold, and, after the resin or the like is cured, the pattern formed on the surface of the resin or the like is formed when the fabric is released. That is, a cloth 2' is laminated and cured on the surface of the molding 3, and the molding 3 is supplied to a job site in this state as it is, then the cloth 2' is released from the molding 3 immediately before execution, and used as the material 1.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a good adhesion condition and high adhesive strength by forming vents in one backing to be dispersed and sticking both backings together when the residual amount of an adhesive is in a specified range to the initial amount of a solvent in sticking the first and second backings together with a solvent type adhesive. SOLUTION: A structure 1 is composed of a first backing 2, a second backing 3, and an adhesive layer 4 placed between the first backing 2 and the second backing 3. At least in one of the first backing 2 and the second backing 3, for example, in the first backing 2, vents 5 consisting of through holes are formed to be dispersed appropriately. In this way, after a solvent type adhesive being applied, when both backings 2, 3 are stuck to be bonded together, the solvent in the adhesive is released through the vents 5 to bring about a condition in which no solvent is in the adhesive layer 4 after the completion of adhesion, and before the completion of adhesion, an appropriate solvent is made to remain in the adhesive. After the adhesive being applied, the residual amount of the solvent in the adhesive when the sticking of the backings 2, 3 is started is made 10-20wt.% of the initial amount of the solvent.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably execute an anchoring work of FRP reinforcements by fixing the FRP reinforcement so as to wrap up the outer peripheral face of the holding part of the reinforcement when introducing a tension to the FRP reinforcement to anchor it while pinching the reinforcement by an anchoring tool including a pair of wedge members and holding it. SOLUTION: An external case 1, wedge parts 2, 2', and FRP reinforcements 3 are provided. The wedge parts 2, 2' slide along the internal wall of the external case 1 by the tension at the time of anchorage, and the FRP reinforcements 3 are held on tensing the reinforcements. The FRP reinforcement 3 is constituted of reinforcing members 4, 4' and an adhesive to fix the reinforcement 3 and the reinforcing members 4, 4'. In this way, since the anchorage part of the reinforcements 3 is covered and reinforced, when a tension is introduced to the FRP reinforcement, crushing at the holding part can be prevented and the FRP reinforcement is not directly held by the wedge members. Accordingly, the reinforcement does neither slip out of the holding part nor breaks at the front end of the wedge and hence, construction work can be carried out while imparting a stable tension.
