    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for sheet materials that are excellent in dense napping properties, in addition, high tensile strength, high tear strength, excellent smoothness and flexibility with high durability of these characteristics. SOLUTION: This sheet material is produced by needle-punching a fiber assembly with a degree of filament arrangement (Pm) of >=0.70, defined as follows, in a density of >=400 lines/cm2 to form a three-dimensionally interlaced sheet, impregnating the resultant entangled sheet with a polymeric elastomer, coagulating the elastomer and densely napping the surface of the resulting fiber-entangled sheet. Pm=L2/L1 where L1 is an average length of the filament; L2 is the projective length of the filament in the axial direction of the fiber assembly.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite spun yarn correcting the cold feeling and a defect in its luster of a filament fiber, excellent in see-through preventing property, and having a dry feeling and a warm feeling by making a composite of a filament fiber with a staple fiber in a specific shape. SOLUTION: This method for producing a composite spun yarn is provided by feeding a filament yarn (a) to front rollers 3, 4 through a feed roller 8 and a vibrating guide 9, and also a crude yarn 6 of a staple fiber (b) to the front rollers 3, 4 through a back roller 1 and a Casablanca type second roller 2 to form a staple fiber bundle having a desired thickness. By simultaneously winding both of the fibers (a) and (b), the composite spun yarn (c) is wound to a bobbin 7. By changing the ratio of the feeding amount of the filament fiber to that of the staple fiber with the vibrating guide 7, a plurality of winding shapes are formed along the yarn axis direction of the composite spun yarn (c).

SOLUTION: This cloth is obtained by forming pile cloth having many piles with carbonization-resistant fibers having fire and flame resistance, and making its basis weight to 50-5,000g/m , preferably 150-3,000g/m . The cloth does not induce melting, hole generation or burnt deposit, etc., and is also useful as interior goods, especially mats.
