    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition used for forming multu-layered hollow moldings excellent in heat resistance, hot water resistance, chemical resistance, frictional resistance, abrasive resistance, gas permeation resistance, molded product appearance, and interlayer adhesively in good balance, and to provided a multi-layered molding comprising the polyphenylene sulfide resin composition as one of the layers and the other thermoplastic resin except the above resin composition as the other layer. SOLUTION: This resin composition for producing multi-layered moldings each produced by laminating (A) a layer comprising a polyphnylene surfide(PPS) resin composition to (B) a layer comprising a thermoplastic resin except the polyethylene surfide comprises 100 pts.wt. of PPS, 0.1-80 pts.wt. of an epoxy group-containing compound 5-80 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin which is different from the PPS but same as the component B, and 0-80 pts.wt. of an elastomer not containing an epoxy group.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin multilayer fuel tube having excellent chemical resistance and permeation preventiveness for gasoline, alcohol gasoline or sour gasoline, excellent flexibility as a tube, and high adhesive strength between resin layers. SOLUTION: The multilayer fuel tube is a multilayer tube obtained by laminating a plurality of layers made of thermoplastic resin. At least one of the layers is formed of polyphenylene sulfide resin composition obtained by blending (B) 10 to 150 pts.wt. of at least one type of functional group-containing thermoplastic resin having at least one type or more bond or functional group selected from amide bond, ester bond, urethane bond, carboxyl group, acid anhydride and epoxy group with (A) 100 pts.wt. of polyphenylene sulfide resin, and the other layers are each formed of (D) thermoplastic resin except polyphenylene sulfide resin.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical characteristics and the durability by executing the injection molding of the resin composition by melting and mixing the polyphenylene sulfide resin, the polyphenylene oxide and the fibrous and/or the non-fibrous fillers. CONSTITUTION:The polyphenylene sulfide resin(PPS resin) is the polymer containing more than 70% of repeated unit demonstrated by the constitutional formula I, while the polyphenylene oxide(PPO) is fundamentally composed of the constitutional unit demonstrated by the constitutional formula II. In the formula II, R1-R4 mean the hydrogen atom, the halogen atom, the aromatic hydrocarbon radical. A cylinder head cover for an automobile is obtained by executing the injection molding of the resin composition which is obtained by melting and mixing 100 pt.wt. of the PPS resin, 10-20 pt.wt. of the PPO resin, and 50-400 pt.wt. of the fibrous and/or non-fibrous filler. This secures higher mechanical strength, higher rigidity, the dimensional stability or the like even at high temperature of 100 deg.C.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a blow molding having excellent moldability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, shock resistance and appearance by blow molding a composition, in which fixed quantities of a polyamide resin and specified modified polyolefin are blended with a polyphenylene sulfide resin. CONSTITUTION:A composition used is composed of a 5-80 pts.wt. polyamide resin and 5-80 pts.wt. modified polyolefin consisting of alpha-olefin and the glycidyl ester of alpha, beta unsaturated carboxylic acid to a 100 pts.wt. PPS resin, and a not more than 200 pts.wt. fibrous and/or granular reinforcing material can be blended as required. The PPS resin, which is deionized and treated by at least one kind of acidic aqueous solution washing, hot water washing and organic solvent washing, is preferable. When blow molding is conducted by using the composition, a blow molding, in which no drawdown of a parison is generated, which has excellent heat resistance and shock resistance and in which no glass fiber floats, can be acquired.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) resin composition which has a balance in a higher level with respect to impact resistance, low temperature impact resistance, moldability and the like, as compared to those of conventional PPS resin materials, is well-balanced and excellent with respect to characteristics inherent to PPS resins such as mechanical properties other than impact resistance and hot-water resistance, and is excellent also with respect to the productivity and economy in commercial production. SOLUTION: The composition is prepared by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of PPS and (B) 1-100 pts.wt. of a modified polyolefin which is obtained by modifying an ethylene α-olefin copolymer, which comprises ethylene and a 3-20C α-olefin and has a weight average molecular weight (Mw)/number average molecular weight (Mn) ratio of 3.0 or less, as calculated by the gel permeation chromatography(GPC), with an olefin compound having at least one functional group selected from epoxy group, acid anhydride group, carboxy group and salts thereof, and carboxylates.

SOLUTION: This compsn. contains 100 pts.wt. resin component comprising a polyphenylene sulfide resin having a melt viscosity (310 deg.C, a shear rate of 1,000 sec ) of 1,000 P or lower alone or together with 0.5-50 wt.% other resin, 15-300 pts.wt. kaolin, and 5-275 pts.wt. talc or magnesium hydroxide, the sum of kaolin and talc or magnesium hydroxide being 30-300 pts.wt., and further contains 10-300 pts.wt. other filler and 0.05-5 pts.wt. alkoxysilane compd. having at least one kind of functional group selected from among epoxy. amino, isocyanate, and hydroxyl groups, etc. Kaolin having an Al content (in terms of Al2 O3 ) of 35-42 wt.% and a wt. loss caused by heating from room temp. to 750 deg.C (in an air stream, at a temp. rise rate of 20 deg.C/min) of 3 wt.% or higher is used.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated body which possesses high barrier properties to a gas hole and is superior in moldability, by a method wherein a resin composition comprised of a polyarylene sulfide copolymer having specific structure, the melting point and melt viscosity and specific modified polyolefin is made into a gas barrier layer which is combined with a polyolefin resin layer. CONSTITUTION:A film is made of a composition comprised of 2-40wt.% modified polyolefin possessing any of a functional group out of a 98-60wt.% polyarylene sulfide copolymer, a carboxylic acid group, a carboxylate group, carboxylic acid metallic salt, a carboxylic acid anhydride group and an imide group wherein it has structure represented by a formula I and the melting point of not exceeding 250 deg.C and a melt flow rate decided by an ASTM-D1238-86 is within 10-5000g/10 minutes under a condition of 315 deg.C and a load of 5000g. Polyolefin resin is provided on the surface of the film. In the formula I, mol ratios of k, m, n are 80-50/50-0/50-0 and k+m+n=100 and m+n>20 are given.
