    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film having large bending strength even if small in thickness, excellent in heat resistance and extremely excellent even in form stability when heat-treated in a processing process. SOLUTION: The laminated polyester film is obtained by forming laminating films containing 30 wt.% or more of alkali metal silicate on both surfaces of a polyester film. The laminated polyester film is manufactured by applying a solution containing 30 wt.% or more of alkali metal silicate with respect to the total solid to both surfaces of the polyester film before crystal orientation is substantially completed and stretching the coated film at least uniaxially to dry the same.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laminated film having excellent flame retardant effect and good productivity by laminating heat resistant resin layers on both surfaces of a polyester film, and setting a drip rate when burned to a specific value or below. SOLUTION: As a polyester in a polyester film (hereinafter referred to as a 'film'), it is not particularly limited, and a polypropylene naphthalate or the like is used. As the film, a film biaxially oriented in the state that a laminated film is provided is desired. A drip rate of the film is 10% or below. Here, the rate is obtained by a combustion test based on UL94VO standards. The film having such a small drip rate is obtained by laminating heat resistant resin layers on both surfaces of the film. As the heat resistant resin, a resin soluble in a bipolar aprotic solvent is suitably used. In this case, an aromatic polyamide resin is suitable. As one example, an N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone can be used.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film excellent in the property of adhesion to a coating material, a flame-retardant polyester film using it, a copper-clad laminate, and a circuit board. SOLUTION: In the laminated polyester film, a resin layer containing a polyester resin and an oxazoline-based cross-linking agent is laminated on at least one side of a polyester film, 40 mol% or more of all diol components constituting the polyester resin is diethylene glycol, and the mass ratio between the polyester resin and the oxazoline-based cross-linking agent, constituting the resin layer, is in the range of 20/80-80/20. In the flame-retardant polyester film, a layer containing a polyimide is laminated on both the sides of the laminated polyester film. The copper-clad laminate uses the flame-retardant polyester film.
