    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce mis-convergence deteriorating the performance of a color picture tube and to realize the color picture tube suitable for high precision by correcting an effect subjected to an electron beam locus with a force exerting among plural electron beams. CONSTITUTION:A 1st magnetic field correction means 30 is arranged to a position of an electron gun and a magnetic field H is generated as if N, S four pole lens magnets 32 were equivalently formed to four diagonal corners. Thus, electromagnetic coils 30 comprising a couple of loop coils 33, 34 are opposite to each other with a tube axis inbetween and the coil axis is arranged with a tilt by 45 deg. from an inline face. The magnetic field H by the coil 30 is formed reversely at a boundary near a center beam BG and when the electron beam quantity is much, the two electron beams BR, BB at both sides are deflected in a direction parted from the center beam BG to act like magnifying the interval of the three electronic beams in the deflection center face.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the temperature of polyimide liquid during application a desired fixed value without being affected by external temperatures and hereby to enable a polyimide film of uniform thickness to be formed by performing temperature control of polyimide liquid inside a supply pipe within the specified range to application port. CONSTITUTION:Polyimide liquid performs heat exchange with fluid (water) 111 being a heat medium through the tube wall of a supply pipe 103 by passing inside of a constant temperature vessel 112a, and becomes a preset temperature. Further, polyimide can be applied onto a wafer 105, without being affected by the ambient temperature, by regulating the temperature of polyimide solution up to the connection part 10 between an application port and the supply pipe 103, by means of a duplex tube, within water 111 which circulates an outside circulation pipe 112b from the constant temperature vessel 112a. Furthermore, a temperature measuring instrument 14 for measuring the temperature of water which flows near the connection part 110 is installed, and its measuring data are fed back to the constant temperature vessel 112a.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To use carriers storing semiconductor wafers having different diameters by making the positions of installation to differ in order to correspond to the semiconductor wafers having the different diameters when susceptors constituting a carrier cradle together with connecting sections are arranged mutually in parallel as approximately rectangular parallelopipes and contact type sensors are disposed to the susceptors. CONSTITUTION:Since positions where bottoms and susceptors 1, 1 are brought into contact are also varied in carriers 10, 10, size of which changes in response to the diameters of semiconductor wafers 12, distances with conveyors 3, 3 are made to differ even in contact sensors 9, 9. That is, the contact sensors 10 for the small carriers are installed at the positions of the surfaces of the susceptors 1 adjacent to the conveyors 3 and the contact sensors 10 for the large carriers inversely at the positions of the surfaces of the susceptors 1 separate from the conveyors 3, and a controller tying a pulse motor and the contact type sensors 9, 9 is also annexed. Accordingly, a plurality of the carriers can be used by a single elevator unit.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube device that can stably supply appreciable image quality by improving an elliptical distortion of a beam spot shape within an overall screen region without complicating the structure of an electron gun structure. SOLUTION: The electron gun structure comprises a uni-potential auxiliary lens QL1 formed by three focusing electrodes, and a quadrupole lens QL2 disposed between the auxiliary lens QL1 and a main lens ML and provided with positive astigmatism. The third focusing electrode G5-1 constituting the auxiliary lens QL1 is impressed with a constant focus voltage, and the first focusing electrode G3 is impressed with a dynamic focus voltage where an alternating current component fluctuating in synchronism with a deflection of an electron beam is superposed on a focus voltage. The auxiliary lens QL1 has a vertical focusing action made relatively stronger than a horizontal focusing action as the deflection level of the electron beam increases.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode ray tube device capable of displaying a high quality image by reducing elliptical distortion of a beam spot on a whole display surface. SOLUTION: This color cathode ray tube device includes an electron gun comprising a main lens 4 and at least one multipolar lens 6a, 6b for passing an electron beam before incident to the main lens 4. As the deflecting value of the deflection yoke increases, the focusing force in a horizontal direction of the main lens 4 is relatively strengthened and the focusing force in a vertical direction is relatively weakened, and the focusing force in a horizontal direction of the multipolar lens is relatively weakened and the focusing force in a vertical direction of the multipolar lens is relatively strengthened.

In this case, a virtual material point in horizontal direction of the electron beam forming part is closer to a phosphor screen than that in vertical direction, the virtual material point diameter in the horizontal direction is greater than that in the vertical direction, a dispersion angle in the horizontal direction after crossover is greater than that in the vertical direction, and on the center of the phosphor screen a focus potential in the horizontal direction is higher than that in the vertical direction.

SOLUTION: In the assembling method for the electron gun for a cathode ray tube where a plurality of electrodes G1 through G6 and cathode holder KHa, KHb and KHc are assembled in an electron gun assembling jig by way of spacers 17b through 17c and 20, and these electrodes and cathode holders are integrally fixed by an insulating support body 18, at least one T-shaped spacer 20 is interposed between the first electrode G1 and each cathode holder, wherein the T shaped spacer is provided with a wide width part which is winder in width than a narrow width part at one end of the aforesaid narrow width part which is narrower in width than the gap of a projected part projecting out of the opposite side part of the first electrode in the direction of each cathode holder.
