    Abstract: PURPOSE: To easily install a thrust bearing on a block without requiring screwing by meshing a claw formed on a thrust bearing with a groove formed on a boss extended from a lower end surface of a block. CONSTITUTION: Since thrust load is applied to a lower end surface of a block 16 from an oscillating scroll member 20, a thrust bearing 70 is arranged between the lower end surface and a back surface of the oscillating scroll member 20. The thrust bearing 70 is circularly formed of sintered alloy, etc., being provided with a claw 13 which is projected in a diameter direction. A boss 76 which abuts against an inner peripheral side surface of the thrust bearing 70 is extended from the lower end surface of the block 16. The boss 76 is formed with an engagement groove 77 with which the claw 73 of the thrust bearing 70 is engaged. The thrust bearing 70 can thus be fixed to the block 16. The thrust bearing 70 can easily be installed without requiring installation parts such as screws and pins.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a rocking scroll member and a fixed scroll member out of an aluminum alloy in order to improve their productivity and to make them lighter in weight as well as to keep off any possible seizure or binding in a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A fixed scroll member 23 and a rocking scroll member 20 both are made up of an aluminum alloy, while a ferrous ring 40 is interposed between both these scroll members 23 and 20, and since this ferrous ring 40 is thicker as far as the specified size than the depth of notch stepped 234 of the fixed scroll member 23, the rocking scroll member 20 comes to be floated as far as the specified size to the fixed scroll member 23 in consequence, an optimum thrust clearance between both these scroll members 23 and 20 is thus securable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform stable operation through suppression of the occurrence of a thermal effect by a method wherein two scroll members of the one being a rocking scroll and the other being a fixed scroll are formed of the same material and a thrust bearing to rotatably support a drive shaft is disposed to the upper end part of a block. CONSTITUTION:A fixed scroll member 26 to form a compression chamber 28 is fixed to a rocking scroll member 25, eccentrically attached on the drive shaft 10 of an electric motor disposed to the inner upper part of a closed case 9, by means of a block 17. The delivery port 29 of the compression chamber 28 is communicated to a containing chamber 37 for an electric motor through a refrigerant passage. In above constitution, the two scroll members 25 and 26 are formed of the same material consisting of mainly aluminum. The lower end part of the drive shaft 10, i.e., a gap 48 provided between the rocking member 25 and the block 17 has a pressure which is set to a value lower than a pressure in the containing chamber 37. Further, a thrust bearing 22 to rotatably support the drive shaft 10 is disposed to the upper end part of the block 17.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage sealing to the atmosphere, to restrict noise, to improve reliability and to stabilize the closed condition of a suction control valve during the minimum piston stroke. SOLUTION: When thermal load is reduced, a passage 58 is opened by a control valve 81 and pressure in a crank room 8 is increased to reduce the inclination of a swash plate 10. When the inclination of the swash plate 10 is reduced to the minimum, the passage sectional area of a second passage 57 is greatly reduced by the swash plate 10 to restrict the pressure drop of the crank room 8. Pressure in an accumulation room 33 is increased to shut off a suction port 3a by the valve disc 31 of a spool valve 30 as a suction control valve. At this time, cooling medium is not distributed in an air conditioning system, high pressure and low pressure in the air conditioning system are gradually balanced and pressure in the suction port 3a is gradually increased, but pressure in the suction room 13 is operated on the valve disc 31 to the direction of opening the valve and pressure in the suction port 3a is not operated to the direction of opening the valve, so that the valve disc 31 can be kept in the closed condition. In this way, the entry of cooling medium gas from an evaporator is prevented and the cooling medium gas is circulated in a compressor.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable capacity type compressor which required no construction for preventing auto rotation of a piston and which has agreeable balance and a shoe does not project from a slanted plate to radial direction largely. SOLUTION: One end 11a of a connecting rod 1 is formed as cup shaped and a shoe 50 is divided into a shoe body 41 and a washer 53. The shoe body 51 has a plane part 51a contacting at a surface with a rear surface 10a of a slanted plate 10 and a spherical part 51b fit into a tip spherical surface 61a of one end part 11a of the connecting rod 11. The washed 52 is supported by a retainer 53 and mounted for oscillating to a rear end spherical surface 61b of the one end part 11a of the connecting rod 11. A center of a hinge ball 9 and center of gravity of the slanted plate 10 are closed to position the center of the hinge ball 9 and a curvature center of the spherical surface part 51b of the shoe body 51 of the shoe 50 on the same plane.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the miniaturization of a compressor in reducing a connecting part between a swash plate and a piston, insofar as possible by forming a radius of curvature of a spherical surface of a shoe on one side receiving suction force, out of a pair of shoes slidingly contacting with both surfaces of the swash plate, to be smaller than that of a spherical surface of the shoe on the other receiving compressive force. SOLUTION: When the power of a mounted engine is transmitted to a shaft 5, the torque is transmitted to a swash plate 10 by way of a thrust flange 40, linkage 41, and this swash plate 10 is rotated. Since two shoes 60 and 61 relatively rotate on the swash plate 10 by a rotation of this swash plate 10, a piston 7 is made to do its rectilinear reciprocation. At this time, a radius of curvature in a spherical surface of the shoe 61 on one side receiving suction force out of these paired shoes 60 and 61 is made smaller than that of a spherical surface of the shoe 60 on the other receiving compressive force, and then both centers of curvature of spherical surfaces of both these shoes 60 and 61 are accorded with each other. With this, in time of the swash plate 10 being tilted, such a possibility that a clearance might be produced in space between the swash plate 10 and the paired shoes 60, 61 is prevented from occurring and, what is more, the occurrence of noise is checked.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To perform efficient lubrication to an Oldham's ring and block side key grooves by forming oil detour grooves, passing across the moving parts of Oldham's ring oscillating side claw parts, in an Oldham's ring storage groove. CONSTITUTION: Oil detour grooves 80 are formed at the contact oscillating parts of an Oldham's ring storage groove 32 and one side face 71a of an Oldham's ring 70, specially in the moving ranges of burrs 72a, 72a by the oscillation of an Oldham's ring 70. Accordingly, at the time of lubricating oil moving from the displacement reducing side to the displacement enlarging side by the movement of the Oldham's ring 70, the lubricating oil can make a detour around the burrs 72a, so that the lubricating oil can flow to an intake space 41 from the inside of the Oldham's ring 70 via block side key grooves 32b. Sufficient lubricating oil can thereby be fed efficiently to the block side key grooves 32b, and the contact oscillating part of the Oldham's ring 70 and the storage groove 32 can be also lubricated sufficiently.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To sufficiently supply a lubricating oil by providing on the outer circumferential side surface of the driving shaft both with a spiral groove whose front end in the turning direction of the driving shaft is opened to an oil space and whose rear end is opened to a lubricating oil reservoir, and with a suction assisting means for increasing the quantity of lubricating oil in accordance with the increase of the rotating speed of the driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:An extension groove 90a in which the end of a spiral groove 90 in the turning direction of the driving shaft is extended by a prescribed distance along the outer circumference of the driving shaft 10 is formed, and the suction port 91 of an oil introducing hole 60 is formed in this prescribed position. Thereby, the lubricating oil is sucked inside the extension groove 90a as shown by the arrow by the pressure difference of a high pressure and a low pressure, and on one hand it reaches the oil introducing hole 60 through the suction port 91, and on the other hand it rises in the spiral groove 90 through the extension groove 90a, and then it returns from the rear end of the spiral groove 90 to a lubricating oil reservoir 31 through the gap between an oil cover 40 and a block 21. Since the pressure becomes higher as the rotating speed of the driving shaft 10 increases and the quantity of lubricating oil being sucked by the oil introducing hole 60 increases in the high rotating region, the quantity of lubricating oil rising in the spiral groove 90 is increased, so that a suction assisting means can be formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent burning by intercepting a main bearing side space and a swing scroll member swing space by means of a thrust bearing, making the swing space of low pressure or of middle pressure, and floating the swing scroll member. CONSTITUTION:A seal member 51 is provided between the penetration hole 19 of a block 18 and the upper end portion of a main shaft portion 10d at the drive shaft 10 of a motor 8, and a high pressure chamber 60 to be formed at the upper portion of a sealed case 6 and an upper end side space 72 formed at the upper end portion of a main bearing 20 are intercepted pressurewise. Also, a step portion is formed between the main shaft portion 10d and an eccentric shaft 10e, and between it and a step portion formed at the block 18, a thrust bearing 50 is interveniently provided. As a result, a space between a lower end side space (a main bearing side space) 70 formed at the lower end portion of the main bearing 20 and a swing space 71 where a swing scroll member 26 swings is intercepted pressurewise, and by making this swing space 71 of middle pressure or of low pressure, back pressure to be added to the swing scroll member 26 is reduced, and force to be added to a butting slide portion is restrained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain the reduction in weight and cost of a compressor, and prevent the seizure of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A second thrust bearing 5 is arranged between a stepped part formed by reducing the diameter of a driving shaft 10 by a prescribed value and a stepped part formed on a block 18 on the lower side of a main bearing 20, so that an oscillating scroll member 26 can be protected from the force adding to the axial lower part of the driving shaft 10. Since the upper part of the main bearing 20 is blocked by a seal member 51, and the lower part is blocked by a second thrust bearing 50, the pressure of the main bearing 20 part can be kept at high pressure, and also reduced on the upper stream side of the first thrust bearing by a lubricating oil throttle mechanism downsteam of the main bearing 20, the back surface pressure of the oscillating scroll member 26 can be set to a low pressure or middle pressure. Thus, the oscillating scroll member 26 can be prevented from being pressed onto a fixed scroll member 24.
