    Abstract: In order to provide a simple structure to achieve sufficient lubrication and sealing in the various areas of a scroll compressor where sliding contact occurs, a spiral groove that communicates between a high-pressure side space and an area at an upper portion of a main bearing is formed on the external circumferential surface of the drive shaft where it comes in contact with and slides against the main bearing. A seal bearing is provided in a drive shaft-receiving block between the high-pressure side space and a low pressure side space to seal off the high-pressure side space from the low pressure side space. An oil supply hole is provided that communicates between the high-pressure side space and an oscillation space which is formed by an oscillating scroll member and an oscillating shaft. With this, a first oil passage that lubricates the main bearing and a second oil passage that lubricates an oscillating shaft-insertion hole are formed. A seal washer, the surface of which is polished to a specific roughness, is provided between the seal bearing and the drive shaft and, in addition, an elastic member is provided between the seal bearing and the block.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth the movement of a plunger and a stem and improve the valve opening and closing accuracy by providing an upper end surface of the plunger vertically moved by the energization of a solenoid, with an area smaller than a cross section of a main part of the plunger, and forming a longitudinal refrigerant drain hole on the plunger. SOLUTION: A control valve 100 included in a variable displacement compressor comprises a control valve main body 120, a solenoid energization part 130 and a pressure sensing part 145, and the pressure sensing part 145 operates a plunger 133 through a stem 138 by the cooperation of the bellows 146 and a spring 159 in the pressure sensing chamber 145a. The control valve main body 120 comprises a valve element 132 opened and closed by the plunger 133 in a valve chest 123. A head part of the plunger 133 is formed into the approximately cylindrical shape having a diameter smaller than its main part 133B, and contacted with a lower end part of the control valve body 120. A refrigerant drain hole extended in the longitudinal direction of the plunger 13 is formed on an upper end surface contacted with a lower part of the valve element 132, of the plunger 133.

SOLUTION: Contact pins 63a, 63b, 63c and 63d are always in contact with the outer peripheral surface of a shaft 5. Since the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 5 is always in contact with the contact pins 63b, 63b when a torsion moment acts on a swash plate 60, the edge of a central hole of a swash plate 60 is not brought into direct-contact with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 5. As a result, the motion (the tilting motion) of the swash plate 60 is smoothed during the operation of a compressor.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any seizure or the like between a swash plate and a shoe by altering a tilt angle of the swash plate according to a variation of pressure in a crankcase, making the stroke of a piston variable, and installing plural rollers rolling on the swash plate and a race holding these rollers rotatably, in space between the swash plate and the shoe. SOLUTION: When turning power of a mounted engine is transmitted to a shaft, the torque is transmitted to a swash plate 10 by way of a thrust flange 40 and linkage 41, and thereby this swash plate 10 is rotated. Since a shoe 11 relatively rotates on the swash plate 10 by a rotation of this swash plate 10, torque in this swash plate 10 is converted into the rectilinear reciprocation of a piston 7, whereby those of suction, compression and discharge of coolant gas are carried out. At this time, plural pieces of needle rollers 52 rolling on the swash plate 10 and a race 53 rotatably holding these needle rollers 52 both are installed in space between a plane part 11b of the shoe 11 and the swash plate 10, through which any possible seizure and wear lying between the swash plate 10 and the shoe 11 can be effectively prevented.

In the case of a scroll member 30 being oscillated in the body oscillating space 80 by the rotation of a driving shaft, lubricating oil flowing into the body oscillating space 80 is pushed in the oscillating direction of the oscillating scroll member 30 by the scroll member 30, and the lubricating oil flows along the oil guide 20c formed at a peripheral wall part 20b, collides with a cutout part 20d of half U-shape on the oscillating direction upper reaches side of the block side key groove and flows into the block side key groove 32b, so that the lubricating oil is forcibly fed to the block side key groove 32b side.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of high pressure becoming high at the time of high load, a switching means closes the communication between an oil space and an oscillating space, and at the time of low load, the switching means opens to leak lubricating oil to the oscillating space side so as to be able to secure the lubricating oil quantity reaching a compression chamber. That is, the switching means is disposed between the lower side face of a seal ring 24 and a driving shaft supporting part 20a formed at the end part of a block 20 in such a state as to be extended between the oscillating space 36 and the oil space 25 so as to open/close between the seal ring 24 and the driving shaft supporting part 20a according to the pressure applied to the seal ring 24 coming in contact with the end part of a driving shaft. At the time of low load, the insufficient part of the lubricating oil quantity reaching an intake space from a thrust bearing part 38 via an Oldham's ring storage groove 32 can thereby be replenished so as to be able to maintain the lubrication and sealing of the compression chamber 35.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement swash plate clutchless compressor which facilitates sealing management against outside air, concurrently, restrains the occurrence of noise, and furthermore, enhances its reliability. SOLUTION: When thermal loading is low, a passage 58 is released by a control valve, the pressure of a crank room 8 is increased, and a swash plate is thereby small in inclination. When the inclination of the swash plate 10 becomes minimum, the cross sectional area of the passage 58 is reduced by the swash plate 10, and a reduction in pressure of the crank room 8 is restrained. Meanwhile, the pressure of a pressure accumulating chamber 33 is increased, a suction port 3a is thereby isolated by a spool valve 31. At this time, cooling medium gas escapes from the pressure accumulating chamber 33 to a suction chamber 13 through a groove 31a. Thus, cooling medium gas is prevented from flowing in from an evaporator 80, and cooling medium gas is circulated in the inside of a compressor. Since any mechanism opening/closing the suction port 3a is not required to be mounted on a shaft 5, the suction chamber 13 can thus be disposed to the outer side of a delivery chamber 12. Besides, sufficient preloading can be applied to the shaft 5, the shaft 5 can be kept stable in the axial direction.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a tilting rotary member smoothly tiltable without requiring a degree of high machining accuracy by constituting a linkage transmitting the rotation of a rotary member to this tilting rotary member by way of installing at least a pair of slide pins connecting a pin supported by the rotary member and this tilting rotary member. SOLUTION: When power of a mounted engine is transmitted to a shaft 5, the torque is transmitted to a swash plate 10 by way of a thrust flange 40 and linkage 41, and this swash plate 10 is thereby rotated. Since a shoe 11 relatively rotates on the swash plate 10 by the rotation of this swash plate 10, a piston 7 is made to do its rectilinear reciprocation, whereby those of suction, compression and discharge of coolant gas are carried out. At the time, the linkage 41 is composed of installing at least a pair of slide pins 43 connecting a pin 45 supported on the thrust flange 40 and the swash plate 10, and in this constitution, since each end of the slide pins 43 is supported on the pin 45 rotatably and free of slide motion in the axial direction, any possible galling in these slide pins 43 is eliminated, and thus smooth operations are ensured.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide sufficient lubrication and sealing by forming a passage of oil that passes through a spiral groove serving as a pump by rotation of a drive shaft to lubricate a main bearing, and a passage of oil that is allowed to pass through an oscillating bearing portion, etc., by the differential pressure between an oil space and an intake chamber. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating scroll 28 driven by the drive shaft 10 of an electric motor 8 and a fixed scroll 35 sandwiching the oscillating scroll 28 between it and a block 17 are enclosed in a high-pressure space 43 inside a closed case 6. In this case, an oil reservoir 22 formed in the high-pressure space 43 communicates with the space between the end portion of the drive shaft 10 and the block 17 by way of an oil space 46 and is isolated by a seal bearing from an oscillation space 47 defined by the oscillating scroll 28 and the block 17. A spiral groove 50 having one end open to the oil space 46 and the other end rising to the upper end of a main bearing 19 is formed on the outer peripheral side of the drive shaft 10. The oil space 46 is communicated with a bearing space by an oil introducing hole 49.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure supply of lubricating oil to a sub bearing by forming a through means on a sliding surface between a block and a turning scroll member, and generating intermediate pressure in space formed of the block, a main shaft and the turning scroll member in a main lubricating passage. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil to lubricate respective parts of this scroll compressor 1 is situated, at first, in the lower part of a high pressure chamber 37, and is introduced to a radial bearing 17 through a lubricating oil introducing passage by means of differential pressure between the high pressure chamber 37 and a low pressure chamber 27. Next, the lubricating oil reaches an upper cavity part of a hole 14 to be inserted through space 52 and an insertion hole 53 above the radial bearing 17, and is distributed, next, to an oil flow hole 18 formed in a driving shaft 9, a sub bearing lubricating passage composed of an orifice 19 in this oil flow hole 18 and a main lubricating passage. The lubricating oil passing through the sub bearing lubricating passage is delivered to the low pressure chamber 27 by means of the differential pressure with the cavity part whose pressure is held by means of intermediate pressure generated between the low pressure chamber 27 and space 56, and lubrication of a sub bearing 13 is carried out.
