Abstract:
The device comprises a driver (11), which is designed for movement from a passive position to an opening position, thus moving the window (5) from a closed to an open position, a spring (27) for actuating the driver (11) in a direction towards the opening position, and a coupling device (10) for retaining the driver (11) in the passive position, which coupling device may be activated and inactivated, and a guide rail system (12, 13) for controlling the movement of the driver (11) from the passive position to the opening position.
Abstract:
An example cable tension device is provided. The cable tension device includes a bracket, an arm, and a spring. The arm is rotatably coupled to the bracket and comprises a roller bar to receive a cable of an overhead door. The spring is coupled to the arm. The spring is under a load to cause the arm to rotate away from the bracket to maintain a tension on the cable.
Abstract:
Windows including one or both of a powered sash driving apparatus and a window balance apparatus and further including a sash connector block and latch bolt assembly are described herein, along with methods of assembling and/or operating the windows.
Abstract:
A drive apparatus includes a main body, a movable portion being movable relative to the main body, a first winding portion and a second winding portion each provided at the main body, a third winding portion and a fourth winding portion each provided at the movable portion, a transmission member including a first transmission portion and a second transmission portion, a moving member moving the transmission member, the moving member pulling the first transmission portion and feeding out the second transmission portion, and thereby moving the movable portion relative to the main body and the moving member feeding out the first transmission portion and pulling the second transmission portion, and thereby moving the movable portion relative to the main body.
Abstract:
A retractable screen door system has a flexible door with a free vertical edge and horizontal upper and lower edges and a vertical constrained edge. A recipient structure has an opening bounded by horizontal upper and lower rails and a fixed post and hollow housing post. A flexible screen door has a free vertical edge and horizontal upper and lower edges and a vertical constrained edge. A cylindrically shaped spring cartridge is located in the housing post to receive and support the constrained edge of the screen door. Upper and lower end caps are between the cartridge and the rails. Spline grooves are formed in the rails and in the upper end cap and the hollow housing post and the lower end cap to facilitate the efficient mounting of screen material and spline.
Abstract:
A guide and support device (1) for the door (7) of an item of furniture (13) is described, comprising a support (2)—which carries at least one body (3), a second body (4) slidable on the support (2) and a spring (5) placed between the first and the second body (3, 4)—and a cable (6), having one end fixed to the door (7) and the other end fixed to the support (2), which slides at least in a first pulley (8) carried by the second body (4).Preferably, the first body (3) also carries a second pulley (9), at least the first pulley (8) carried by the second body (4) is a multiple pulley and the cable (6) passes in the races of both pulleys (8, 9).The first body (3) advantageously comprises means (10, 11) able to adjust the position thereof at the time of installation of the device (1).
Abstract:
An upwardly acting sectional door system including, a door (D) having a plurality of hinged door sections (16-18) movable between a closed vertical position and an open horizontal position, a drive tube (31) mounted above the door in the closed vertical position, an operator (11) selectively directionally rotatably driving the drive tube, cable drums (35) mounted on the drive tube for rotation therewith by the operator, springs (60) mounted in operative relation to the cable drums, and counterbalance cables (75) reeved about the cable drums and interconnecting the springs and the door to counterbalance the door when moving between the closed vertical position and the open horizontal position.
