PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security function-provided traveling machine constantly monitoring a suspicious individual. SOLUTION: In charging a battery 27, power supplied from a charger 100 is supplied to both of the battery 27 and a suspicious individual detection section 60. In the course of charging the battery 27, four current collecting sensors 35 (35a-35d) of the suspicious individual detection section 60 are actuated to detect the suspicious individual, Thus the suspicious individual is detected in the course of the charge, thus constantly monitoring the suspicious individual. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that although a conventional self-running type vacuum cleaner has been able to sense obstacles on the surroundings, a step existing in the advancing direction has not been able to be sensed, and when the sensing of a step is required, the arrangement of a sensor has been necessary. SOLUTION: This self-running type vacuum cleaner has a plurality of camera elements of which the angles of visibility are different from each other, and at the same time, which are arranged in a manner to make the angles of elevation different. A controlling means makes a main body face a sensed human body from the sensing result of a human body sensor which senses the existence/absence of a human body around the main body. Then, the controlling means inputs photographed images by photographing images by a plurality of respective cameras, and the photographed images are output by a specified method.
