    Abstract: PURPOSE:To have an engine with high rotation and high output by driving the intake/exhaust valve of internal-combustion engine by a crank mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A crank shaft B is coupled with a connecting rod and crank shaft by a bolt A, and the revolving motion of this crank shaft is converted into reciprocative motion to move a valve I. Spring G is welded to the piston F and valve. Thereby the number of revolutions of the engine can be increased to assure high output.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of slidable contact parts necessary to oscillate an oscillating cam to lift an intake valve or an exhaust valve of an engine and to obtain the satisfactory amount of the lift of the intake or exhaust valve. CONSTITUTION:A crank member 16 is rotated following a driving cam shaft 14. The crank member 16 is connected to an oscillating cam 12 by a crank arm 17. When a cylindrical member 15 mounted on the driving cam shaft 14 in a rotatable manner is rotated, the connection part of the cylindrical member 15 to a link member 18 is moved along a circular hole part 116b, and the upper end part of the crank arm 17 is moved along an oblong hole l6a. Thus, the radius of rotation of the connection part of the crank member 16 to the crank arm 17 is changed, and the opening/closing timing of an intake/exhaust valve 10 is changed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent valve repulse by forming a track in a valve lever, and opening and closing the valve while a drive pin is engaged with the track in oscillatory manner. CONSTITUTION: A track 25 is formed in a valve lever 20. A drive pin 39 is engaged with the track 25, and is connected to a crank 37 of a drive shaft 38 through a drive link 35. The drive pin 39 is driven oscillatoryly, when it engages with the second portions 26, 27 of the track 25, the valve 11 is opened, and when it engages with the first portion 28, the valve 11 is closed. By this manner, it is not necessary to arrange a return spring, the repulse of the valve is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To hold fixed area of an opening hole throughout a long time, by providing intake and exhaust valve holes in a cylinder liner in accordance with an engine cycle pattern and synchronously rotating the cylinder liner with a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder liner 1 is rotatably provided through bearings 10, 11. A bevel gear 12 is provided to a crankshaft 13 and meshed to a bevel gear 15 mounted to a lower part of the cylinder liner 1. A rotary angle theta of the crankshaft 13 and rotary angle of the cylinder liner 1 are synchronously arranged in such a manner that an intake port 8 and intake valve hole 6 are overlapped at each time a piston head comes to the top dead center. Accordingly, operating fluid is sucked into a cylinder, during the time the intake port 8 and the intake valve hole 6 are overlapped, intake action is continued. In this way, every timing pattern of intake and exhaust valves can be arranged.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To dispense with the oil pump heretofore in use by forming space between an eccentric driving cam being driven by a crankshaft and an eccentric inverted cam being driven by this driving cam at a 1/2 reduction gear ratio and having a tappet valve cam on the circumference as an oil pump house. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric driving cam Ca1 is engaged with a shaft part 21 of a crankshaft 2 through a spline and tightly attached to a nut 5 via a washer 4. An eccentric inverted cam Ca2 is circumscribed on the circumference of this eccentric driving cam Ca1 and it is made so as to be driven at a 1/2 reduction gear ratio. A tappet valve cam 6 is formed on the circumference of the eccentric inverted cam Ca2, and slipper surfaces 71 and 81 of cam followers 7 and 8 for suction and exhaust valves come into contact with this cam 6. A pump house 15 is formed in space between the eccentric driving cam Ca1 and the eccentric inverted cam Ca2, whereby intake oil from a suction port 16 is discharged out of discharge port 17, thus action as an oil pump is effectuated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To intend to reduce vibration and noise by providing an inverted cam which rotates circumscribing to an integral excentric cam on a crank shaft for making an intake and exhaust valve open and close following to inverted cam face. CONSTITUTION:An inverted cam 17 is cercumscrived on inner periphery face 18, 19 of its hollow portion to eccentric cams 15, 16 integral with a center axis line Co of a crank shaft 6 for bearing the inverted cam 17 freely rotatable. Cam face 20 on outer periphery face of the inverted cam 17 is abutted to cam followers 21, 22 that open and close an intake and exhaust valve 28. The eccentric cams 15, 16 press mutually opposed faces of the inverted cam 17 alternately. According to this, it can be down to make operation smooth and to reduce vibration and noise.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To assure an excellent pumping flow with a simlified strucure by providing a pair of suction exhaust valve while being slanted taking a center line of a cylinder as a symmetrical axis, and driving a slider for each valve by making use of guide slots provided in a crank shaft in a crossing manner to each other. CONSTITUTION:A suction valve 10 and an exhaust valve 11 are provided in a slanted manner taking a center line 5 of a cylinder 3 as a symmetrical axis such that shade parts thereof are directed inwardly of the cylinder 3. Guide slots 35, 36 arranged in a crossing relation to each other are formed in a crank shaft 1, along which sliders 30, 31 are allowed to slide for a reciprocated motion thereof, whereby pumping valves 10, 11 are opened and closed via push rods 20, 21 and rocker arms 17, 18. Hereby, a dynamic valve mechanism can be simplified without providing a cam shaft in particular, and a gas flow acts as a cross flow type for improving the efficiency of gas exchange.
