Abstract:
A chemical reaction between a first chemical reagent and a second chemical reagent occurs in a mixing chamber arrangement; a dispensing chamber; a dispensing piston configured to dispense reacting mixture from the dispensing chamber; and a control unit for controlling the movement of the dispensing piston and operation of the chemical mixing arrangement. The chemical mixing arrangement has a mixing chamber and injection apparatus configured to produce a jet of a first chemical reagent and a jet of a second chemical reagent such that the jets collide within the mixing chamber to produce reacting mixture. The dispensing chamber has an inlet for receiving the reacting mixture from the mixing chamber and an outlet for dispensing the reacting mixture. The control unit co-ordinates the chemical mixing arrangement to mix the chemical reagents while the dispensing piston is retracted at a controlled rate to enlarge the dispensing chamber.
Abstract:
A method for dispensing a foamed material onto a substrate surface, including: generating a relative movement between the substrate surface to be coated and an exit opening of a material dispensing apparatus, mixing at least two material components in a mixing device to provide a free-flowing, foamable dispensing material, generating a pressure differential between the mixing device and the dispensing region located downstream in the direction of flow from a discharge cross-section of the exit opening, conveying the dispensing material from the mixing device for the dispensing material to the exit opening, and discharging the dispensing material from the exit opening onto the substrate surface. The dispensing material be kept under such a pressure in the region adjacent to and upstream from the discharge cross-section of the exit opening that the dispensing material in this region has a foaming rate that is less than 10% of the foaming rate which ensues at the end of the foaming process.
Abstract:
A dispenser system employs a packaging module for use with moisture sensitive materials. The packaging module comprises an outer carton and an inner bladder, which is substantially impermeable to moisture and is filled with one part of an adhesive. The carton is loaded on a mobile cart and the one part adhesive is supplied to a pump/mixer without exposure to moisture in the atmosphere. The packaging and dispensing system can be used in conjunction with mechanized adhesive application equipment for the construction trades.
Abstract:
A PROCESS AND APPARATUS ARE DISCLOSED FOR DISTRIBUTING ONE OR MORE MOLDABLE RESINS ONTO A BACKING FILM WHICH IS SUBSEQUENTLY TO BE CHARGED INTO A MOLDING MACHINE. THE RESIN IS DEPOSITED BY A NOZZLE WHICH RECIPROCATES ACROSS THE WHOLE WIDTH OF THE FILM AS IT IS ROTATED ON A CYLINDER WHICH IS HELD AGAINST AXIAL MOVEMENT. THE NOZZLE RECEIVES RESIN FROM A PLURALITY OF SOURCES, THE RESIN STREAMS BEING DIFFERENTLY COLORED, AND CERTAIN OR ALL OF WHICH MAY CONTAIN LUSTROUS ADDITIONS, SO THAT MOLDED ARTICLES HAVING IRIDESCENT AFFECTS ARE OBTAINED.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an apparatus for supplying chemicals, and an apparatus and a method for treating a substrate. An apparatus for supplying chemicals, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, includes a storage tank storing the chemicals; a chemical discharge line discharging the chemicals from the storage tank; a circulation line connected to the storage tank and self-circulating the chemicals from the storage tank; a leak determining line connected to the circulation line and supplying gas to the circulation line; and a measurement unit measuring a change in pressure of the gas supplied to the circulation line.
Abstract:
According to some embodiments, a system and method for dispensing a floor coating in a specified ratio of multiple components is disclosed. The system and method may set and maintain a desired ratio of the multiple components by controlling, with a controller, a drive rate of respective pumps configured for propelling the components from a reservoir to a mixer or a dispenser. The controller may be responsive to at least one of a measured actual drive rate, an environmental condition, an actual usage of each component, and an operational parameter of the system, for adjusting a drive rate of the respective pumps to compensate for discrepancies that may affect the ratio of the multiple components.

Abstract:
The disclosure relates to an application device, preferably for alternately applying a 2C material, comprising a first component material and a second component material, on the one hand and the first component material on the other hand, in particular onto a motor vehicle component, comprising preferably an application head and a first line section leading to an application nozzle, wherein the first line section comprises a mixer and a first line for a first component material and a second line for a second component material, wherein the first line and the second line are connected to the mixer and the mixer mixes the first component material and the second component material with each other for forming a 2C material. The application device is characterized in particular in that it comprises a second line section for the first component material to form an application bead of alternately the 2C material from the first line section and the first component material from the second line section.
