Abstract:
A string of coiled tubing for an electrical submersible well pump has insulated power conductors encased in an elastomeric jacket within the coiled tubing. A textured interface between the jacket and the inner side wall of the coiled tubing enhances frictional engagement between the jacket and the coiled tubing. The textured interface may be formed on the inner side wall of the coiled tubing and consist of a roughened or knurled surface. A tape may be wrapped helically around the jacket, the tape having an outer side with a textured surface in contact with the inner side wall of the coiled tubing. The textured interface may extend continuously for the length of the coiled tubing.

An adhesive label includes: a printable front side which is non-opaque to IR radiation; an adhesive layer for sticking the label to an application medium, the adhesive force of the front side being less than the gripping force of the adhesive layer; and a compound exhibiting a certain behavior when illuminated by the IR radiation through the front side, the electromagnetic response of the compound during the illumination by the IR radiation being detectable through the front side.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet that achieves, in the form having a support substrate, both low initial adhesiveness and strong adhesiveness during use. The PSA sheet provided in this application includes a support substrate and a PSA layer laminated on at least one side of the support substrate. The PSA layer has a thickness of 3 μm or more but less than 100 μm. The support substrate has a thickness of 30 μm or more. The PSA sheet is configured so that a relationship between an elastic modulus Et′ [MPa] of the PSA sheet and a thickness Ts [mm] of the support substrate fulfils the following formula: 0.1 [N·mm]
