The invention relates to a door closer comprising a shoulder(110)-type piston (100) acting upon a driven shaft, a pressure build-up piston (200) and an energy accumulator (30), the pistons (100, 200) being axially guided inside a housing (1). The door closer is also fitted with a first (D1) and a second (D2) pressure chambers connected to an overflow hose and combined with the door piston (100), with a middle pressure chamber (D3) combined with both the shoulder (110) and the pressure build-up piston (200), and at least with one additional pressure chamber (D4, D4*) possibly presenting a choke, while the pistons, or the housing, all have channels for interconnecting the pressure chambers, and while the door piston (100), which is not only interlocking with the door piston due to the offset shoulder (110) in the hand of door (4), but also operatively linked with it- first hydraulically, then mechanically - in the direction of closure, leaves the possibility of hydraulic decoupling from the pressure build-up piston.

An extension spring overhead door system (10) in which the spring (22) may be quickly and easily placed in tension with the door (21) in a closed position. A spring tensioning device (30, 140) is provided which eliminates the need for multiple installers to lift the full weight of the door (21) and then clamp or otherwise prop the door (21) in an open position. An extension spring containment tube (84) is also provided which surrounds the entire periphery of the spring (22) to fully contain the entire length of the extension spring (22). A second embodiment of the spring tensioning device (140) allows mounting of device (140) on either side of the door (21) while retaining easy access.

An adjustable torque hinge includes a set hinge, a torque providing unit and a torque adjusting unit. The set hinge unit couples a first and second wing plate with a pivot pin. The first and second wing plates forms a pin joint with a first sleeve and second sleeve. The torque providing unit includes a torque spring to provide turn back recovery. A torque adjusting unit has a torque adjustment member. The first sleeve includes a first cam, and the torque adjustment member includes a second cam which couples with the first cam to drive the torque adjustment member to the torque spring. Conversion between the first and second sleeves enables the bearing hinge to be used in both directions, accumulating force both in normal and reverse directions to adjust the torque force for opening and closing operations.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Türbetätigungsvorrichtung (1) umfassend ein Gehäuse (2), wenigstens eine in dem Gehäuse (2) angeordnete Antriebseinheit, die mit einem Türflügel koppelbar ist, und wenigstens einen Federkraftspeicher (3), der mit der Antriebseinheit in Wirkverbindung steht, und welcher eine unter einer Federvorspannung angeordnete Feder (4) aufweist, wobei die Federvorspannung der Feder (4) mittels einer Federverstellung (5) erfolgt, die wenigstens eine mit dem Gehäuse (2) verbindbare Verschlussschraube (6) und eine Verstellmutter (7) umfasst. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass an der Verschlussschraube (6) ein zur Feder (4) hin ausgerichteter Zylinder (8) ausgestaltet ist, an dem die Verstellmutter (7) linear geführt ist, wobei ein durch die Verschlussschraube (6) geführtes Einstellelement (9), das zumindest abschnittsweise kraft- und/oder formschlüssig in dem Zylinder (8) in Eingriff bringbar ist, und das an der Verstellmutter (7) anliegt, zur Einstellung der Federvorspannung dient.
